I've seen his primary secretary / office manager fighting with other employees arguing being disrespectful unfortunately it carries over to clients. So now I've moved on there are other options. Why is he a doctor when it's difficult to get an appointment when it's difficult to get information when it's just plain disrespectful. Regrettably it has nothing to do with a doctor.

The website states they are appointment only, and to make one by phone. You see the problem here, if no one ever picks up the phone or calls back. This place is the closest in my network of insurance, but I need new glasses for something in a couple of weeks. So now, instead of driving 5 minutes to this place, I have to drive 30+ minutes to the next closest location that's covered by my insurance.

I went back to PV twice and they suggested returning to Modern Focus as the lenses matched the script. The Dr at MF said my vision changed and gave me less of a correction. I feel her 11/25 script was inaccurate but she said no and charge me $60 for the new one because I didn't buy glasses there. What a rip off! PV is making my new lenses for free. Now that's good customer service. Oh, and I was the doctor's first appt of the day and she arrived 15 minutes late to work. Like my time isn't worth anything? Needless to say, I canceled my next exam. I went to Dr Gould for years and always received excellent care and customer service. MF could use a little training on both areas.

The economic payoff for Robbins is much higher in billing through medical insurance. When I complained, they said they would deduct the $50 co-pay from my bill so I would not see a difference--the first of many lies. Bills after two years, I called them on an $80 balance and paid $60 to end the BS; they "waived" the $20, or so they said. Another three years, and they send a $20 bill every three months. Today I paid the "waived $20 to end their larceny. How desperate is this operation? They spent three years collecting $20, which they had waived. Do not fall for the BS coming out of this place. Stay away. You have been warned. As far as service, I would never buy their high-priced glasses; I would go blind them go to Robbins again

I came to you with high expectations because of all the recommendations I received from former patients. I must admit they were right it was a pleasurable surgery experience from all aspects. From the reception to all the wonderful staff interactions and of course you. That is why i have been seeing her for about 9-10 years, maybe more... BUT to get to Dr Scanlon you have to get passed the trolls. The customer service in the front of the vision center is some of the worst I've ever experienced. I'm surprised these women still have jobs here with the way they treat and talk to people. Rude, short, snippy. They act as if you are bothering them. Whenever you walk in, most times you are made to wait a minute or so before you are acknowledged or helped, even when there is no one else there. Standing there is awkward. One of the trolls is worse then the others, but the others seem to follow suit when she is there. And on this last visit I noticed cleaning practices slacking. I watched the main troll put dirty glasses that people tried on right back on the display without cleaning them. How unsanitary... I decided to get glasses elsewhere. I'll be back in a year or two for Dr Scanlon, but if she wasn't so amazing I would never recommend this place. My advice, Just get your exam and then run far away from this place...

I saw Dr. Laura Scanlon for a severe issue with my left eye (after my 3 month old accidentally…read morescratched my eye!) My vision was severely impaired in my left eye and I was fearful that I was going to be blind in it. She was able to reverse the pain and vision loss that I had with proper medication and treatment. She is extremely professional and very kind, understanding and gives quality care. I feel like it's not that easy to find that these days everyone Dr. seems like they're in a rush and don't really give you the time of day. Thank you Dr. Scanlon!
