I had glasses for 22 years and even when I started wearing contacts, they always helped me coordinate my appointments with Nancy and Dr. Klein so I would only have to come in once a year. When I got LASIK, they were super helpful through the whole process. I'm a Type 1 Diabetic, so I have to be extremely careful with my eyes...and I only trust this office. And a bonus - they are all amazing when it comes to my service dog - welcoming and friendly. I'm so thankful!

Also got upset that I actually read before I sign and questioned their paperwork that stated something different than what she were saying to me verbally!! Nancy in contacts was ok, but called she didn't have any samples when I asked. Dr. Hash was good. Long wait for her, but we took her time and listened once she arrived. I had been doing well for over a year with no flare-ups, but this weekend, I developed a pretty severe case. Of course, the symptoms didn't manifest until Saturday morning, and I had an event on Sunday that I really did not want to miss. Fortunately, Dr. Cervantes was on call for the practice. I called the answering service and immediately received a callback. Dr. Cervantes could have easily told me to go to the ER and follow up with him on Monday. But he didn't. He met me at the office on both Saturday and Sunday and treated me in person. I was able to attend and enjoy my event on Sunday. Dr. Cervantes is a truly caring doctor. The office staff is equally as wonderful and got me in again on Monday to make sure we were headed in the right direction. I am truly grateful for the wonderful care I have received from Dr. Cervantes and his staff, and I cannot recommend Connecticut Eye Specialists highly enough!

The lady at the front desk greeted me by saying my insurance is not active. After realizing her mistake she said I needed to pay a $40 co-pay, which I did not have to pay. She said if I did not pay it now they would add a fee to the $40 when they bill me. The office manager was not much better, asking me to sign a form that a service that was covered, I still needed to sign that I would be responsible for it. Did nt make any sense at all - then she said I was good. Wow, I almost walked out due to their rudeness and miss reputation However, Erica made up for the unprofessional treatment the front desk showed me. And Dr Hardik Patel was kind and thorough durning his exam and treatment. I am sure that management has no idea how unprofessional the front desk staff is. Maybe they should send in a "Ghost" patient so they can see for themselves.

When I said something, I was told: 1. We are really busy. 2. We are short-staffed. 3. You should expect to wait in the doctor's office. (No, I do not expect this.) 4. If you keep talking about this, it is going to delay things further. (WHAT?) Oh dear! What happened to common courtesy? What happened to respecting your patient's time? What happened to offering an apology instead of excuses?
