    Tequila and soda with lime.

Distillery was ok. They do make tequila and some other stuff. Not super big. A little hard to find but a fun stop along the route in the mountains

This distillery rocks! I highly recommend Gold Dirt Distillery if you like quality spirits, good cocktails and wonderful specialty cocktails.

I won't divulge how to find this place because that was half the battle and made it worth the wait. We ultimately were gathered in the hotel lobby to take us back to the speakeasy - the welcome drink was a super nice touch! The speakeasy itself is fairly tiny - seats about 30? It felt super swanky and loved all the wood - felt like we were somewhere back in the 30s. The cocktail connoisseur behind the bar, Danny, makes you a custom made drink based your preferences. They can of course make standard drinks but what fun is that? In their menu, they have a list of the most popular liquors (gin, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.) and then flavors that typically pair with those liquors. For example, I wanted some sort of whiskey sour and asked to make it with peach or ginger flavors. My husband asked for a gin drink with crème de violet and got a delicious play on an Aviation cocktail with aloe and rosemary simple syrup. Overall, a little bit of a hiccup to find it and get in, but the experience was awesome! Was a little scared when there weren't any prices on the menu, but for the overall experience of getting a custom crafted cocktail, it felt worth it. Follow the canary! Escorted through the kitchen and a bookcase door into a pleasant dark quiet upscale bar. Seating at the bar was our preferred choice to be close to the action. Cire, the bartender, was attentive, knowledgeable, fun, and just enjoyable to hang with. Get yourself there.

We were greeted almost immediately and presented with drink menus. Our server answered questions about what the drinks tasted like to help us decide as well. The drinks were VERY good and reasonably priced while not cheap, I didn't feel gouged either. This will definitely be on the return list on our next trip to Boulder.

The inside is a little bit divey in feel but more upscale than your typical dive bar. They had tons of seating, and I saw next to a fireplace because it looked cozy (it was). The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

So, no parking pass meant we stopped at A Frame instead. And, seriously, best decision ever. As soon as you walk in, you know this place is different. We came in during the winter holidays and loved the decorations, the small touches and the festive space. Think minimal elegance with a chill vibe. We headed to the bar and enjoyed some really well made craft cocktails. Staff were awesome - really friendly, attentive and shared some laughs with us. While we only had drinks (that were soooo good!), we were already bookmarking A Frame to return for dinner. If our cocktails were any indication of what's to come, we're in.

The restaurant food was awesome - we got the charcuterie, burger and lamb pasta then finished the night with the cookie skillet which was my personal favorite. Also grabbed breakfast burritos and coffee from the restaurant in the morning too, they have bagels and alcohol for sale as well!

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.
