This place was awesome! Stopped in for lunch while doing some sightseeing in Georgetown, there was a bit of a wait as it was a gorgeous fall day. Everyone's food was fantastic with very large portions. I got the grilled zucchini ratatouille caprese sandwich and it was incredible! A HUGE sandwich on delicious bread filled with roasted veggies and melted mozzarella. The salad that came with it was large too!! The service was great, and the interior was super unique, would absolutely return especially to check out the live music they have on weekends! read more

Went here on a Thursday during lunch time with two girlfriends after paddle boarding on Georgetown Lake. Lisa was our waitress and we can't speak more kindly about her! She was attentive, kind, personable, and beyond friendly. The food was outstanding, we got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it's one of the best we've had. We came here for an anniversary dinner and were badly disappointed. Menu looked good, but wish I had ordered the salmon piccata (I had had salmon the evening before). I ordered the prime rib, which was listed as market price, and it was mediocre and VERY expensive. Partner's meal was okay but not great. Great food, service, and atmosphere. If you're in the area, this is a great place to stop. I had the 511 Bistro burger with their secret recipe guacamole as a add in and it was perfect. My fiance had the Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli with chicken (which I tried) and it was good as well. Oh and the Grilled Bruschetta for an appetizer was amazing as well. It was a good size portion but I could have ordered another plate of that it was so good. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

This restaurant in Georgetown is awesome. Very nice people, great atmosphere and absolutely good food. We have visited them twice during our stay and both times had a delicious dinner. The place is small so it tends to fill out very quickly and I am not sure if you can make reservations before hand. The serve good drinks and our mezcal margaritas were perfect. They also carry selection of few wines to pair with the food. On our first visit we had Hanger Steak and Colorado Lamb both cooked medium on point. Very good quality of meat served with mashed potatoes, au jus and vegetebles. For the second visit we tried the Hamburgers and they were also very good, not outstanding but very good burgers. Definitely reccomend this place for dinner in Georgetown CO :) read more

Our family had a great time at the 511 Rose tonight. I love the way the owner has decorated the restaurant, there is so much attention to detail. He also played a magnet throwing game with my daughters onto the bar that's shaped from a pickup truck. The food was great, the hospitality, the staff. read more

We had a great dinner at 511 Rose while visiting Georgetown. The vibe is very cool and they have live music several times a week. I had the Vegetarian Quinoa Bowl and my husband had the Prime Rib. There were two Vegetarian options on the menu and the waitress steered me towards the Quinoa Bowl. I must say, it was absolutely delicious. There have been many time that restaurants just don't get the Vegetarian entrees right. That is not the case at 511 Rose. The portion size was also plentiful. I practically licked my plate clean - it was that good! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Prime Rib, which was a special treat and splurge. 511 Rose is a great local restaurant for good food, good service and live music, if you are lucky. read more

While no place is perfect, this place has a character that some would miss. Crazy cool memorabilia all around the place. Some people wouldn't even recognize, but some of that memorabilia is worth thousands of dollars. Really small place that allows for the kind of atmosphere they're gone for. Serving a small group quality products.. starting with the incredible bourbon collection they have. It's a bit pricey but Vanwinkle 12 year, Weller 12 year Weller antique, Weller special reserve George T Stagg, EH Taylor, Eagle rare. I mean these are hard to find anywhere in the country. Service was good, but only 1 server. We could not figure out what was going on. There was other ladies that were there and knew their way around the bar, but not helping the 1 server. So it took a long time to get our order in. The food was fantastic, One of the best Rubens I've had in a long time, in fact only 2 better in the country by my judgement so far. Mac&Cheese is perfect, home cut fries needed a little seasoning, but very good. Got to meet the owner, I simply had to complement him on the Bourbon selection, as only Bourbon people understand. Ok so this place is SUPER cute and staff were pretty nice but the food is honestly not good AT ALL. I ordered the tomato soup with sliders. Tomato soup tasted sour and was not warm. The sliders were not sliders at all they were a sandwich cut in 4 squares. They were bland and tasted soggy and gross. I told the waiter and ordered the green chili with tortillas. It was also bland but after putting in a bit of salt the taste was much better. Disappointed the tomato soup and sliders were not taken off the bill. I literally tasted them and that's it. This place was awesome and may have just displaced my standard pit-stop on the way out to Dillon/Frisco across I-70. I highly recommend it and will come back again. The kids loved their buttered noodles and Reuben sandwich (this one wasn't a kid meal). My wife got the beet and berry salad and enjoyed it a lot, especially whatever cheese it came with. I got the brisket sandwich and was very satisfied. The sandwich came with small sides of potato salad, beans (or chili, I forget, this was the only one I didn't care much for), coleslaw, and I believe one other item. The potato salad was really good, and I'm not normally a fan of this. The meat was so good that I'll try the pulled pork version next time. Parking was easy out in front and the staff was great. This place is an absolute dream come true. I walked in and immediately fell in love with the country music playing. Then whoever was working asked if I wanted a Bloody Mary. How did she know? I felt seen. My partner and I were seated by the front window, and I was swooning over the vibe. It was quiet and made me crave coming back for the live music. I had the lamb dish, while my partner got the smoked salmon, which is made in-house. Everything was sooo tasty. You can taste the care and quality that goes into this food. Tempting to have more than one Bloody Mary, but we were on a time crunch to get home. I look forward to coming back next time and exploring more of what Georgetown has to offer! read more

Good food and drink if you like your dining experience with a side of bigotry. Stopped by this place with my boyfriend a while ago on our way home to grab a bite. Wasn't busy so we were sat quickly. Inside was cool and decorated nicely. Everything seemed normal until we overheard our server talking to the other staff members and the manager. She was homophobic slurs to describe her difficulty in her dating life and they agreed. We weren't listening in on their conversation, they were just so loud and proud to be stating how they felt in a work environment. This left a very sour taste for our experience there. Think what you what but at work in front of customers is not an appropriate place for those opinions. We left a note on our receipt stating what she had said to acknowledge that we had overheard her. (Still tipped her, since we've both worked in the service industry). As we drove out of town, past the restaurant, her, the boss, and another server came outside to wave us off. Normally yes. Tonight Ron wasn't there and we would like to think that, if he was there, the "locals" would not have done what they did. We also are "locals" and were appalled at what we saw happening. There was a wait list and no less than three groups of locals came in, bypassed the wait list - casually encroached on tables and jumped ahead. Darn good thing they didn't try it with us but truly disappointing. As a local, you should want to encourage tourists but jumping the line in front of them - that isn't a good look. Elderly woman with white hair treats patrons horribly. We stated the rest of our party was parking, she said we had to wait. As we stood there in the doorway near other patrons eating, another wait staff came out to seat us. The elderly woman came storming out behind her yelling that our 10 minutes of waiting for our party could take an hour. We had no idea why she was so upset. We stated we just came up I70 and it's clear, she said parking can take an hour. Georgetown was a ghost town tonight so there was no parking issue. We felt so uncomfortable we left to eat Nextdoor at the Silverbrick Saloon which was so friendly to us. Would not recommend this place based on service, I assume this isn't the first complaint about this particular wait staff. read more

511 was a go to for our many trips up and down I-70. The food is fine and, though frequently slow, the service is friendly. What has permanently put me off 511 is a response from the owner. Our wait person was wearing a Trump shirt and hat. I respect everyone's right to support whatever political party, perspective candidate they want. I just don't want it paraded in my face when I'm paying in a restaurant. I did contact the owner who basically responded "big deal she's exercising her first amendment rights."
