Marshalls is my very special place where I purchase all of my soaps. I love the Castelbel scents! I love the Lemons, Cotton Flower, and Lavender scents, and during the holidays, they bring in the Christmas scents like Sugar Cookies and Peppermint. Today I went to two Marshalls. I just had to stock up. Plus, a lover of soap, like me, got to the first one before me and only left three bars. I didn't see my creamy Goat Milk soap. Did I mention that soap is only $3.99 a bar? It's such a great value, and the clerk told me the day the truck comes in. I really appreciate that information, thank you!

This Rack location has a decent selection. Most recently went shoe shopping with my boyfriend and he found exactly what he needed. Sometimes the store seems a little messy and chaotic with merchandise not displayed properly. It seems customers and employees just kind of let merchandise get tossed about. Other than that, good place to shop for better quality clothing and accessories at discounted prices.

So I made the mad dash to Nordstrom Rack Saturday morning. I walked in with low expectations, fully prepared to hit multiple stores before finding anything close to what I needed. Instead, I found the most gorgeous Badgley Mischka crystal pumps. They're slightly bigger than my normal size, but that actually works in my favor. They're comfortable, my toes can move, and I can already tell I won't be plotting my escape from them halfway through the evening. While I was there I grabbed a strapless bra and even found a formal bag that works better than the clutch I originally planned to carry. Sibyl at checkout was the perfect finishing touch to my morning. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like the Nordstrom culture of service I studied back in graduate school.

The prices on some things seems incredibly capitalist, I see a whole couch for $19.99 which is a great price, but then I'm looking at a pair of shoes for $24.... Where's the relief in that LOL I have to admit they have some pretty good items, but the prices seem greedy. I don't know how much of the proceeds go to disaster relief but if it's not 100% then it seems pretty disturbing, prices are getting to be like Goodwills and there's no good will in that ‍ All in all, this truly is a great store but this was not a good experience for me so I may seek another store.
