What do I love about Cato Stores? The organization and selection. It is so easy to glance through the store with a variety of offerings without being so jam packed that you can't find anything. The grouping of colors and collections make it extremely easy to put together an outfit without wondering what will or won't match, even for the fashion-challenged like myself. I went in for one top that I had seen online and ended up walking out with 2 new pairs of jean capris and 3 new tops - all for less than I might spend on one outfit elsewhere. Whether you have 30 minutes or hours to spare, Cato is definitely worth a trip for something new and fresh.

Today I went to two Marshalls. I just had to stock up. Plus, a lover of soap, like me, got to the first one before me and only left three bars. I didn't see my creamy Goat Milk soap. This Rack location has a decent selection. Most recently went shoe shopping with my boyfriend and he found exactly what he needed. Sometimes the store seems a little messy and chaotic with merchandise not displayed properly. It seems customers and employees just kind of let merchandise get tossed about. Instead, I found the most gorgeous Badgley Mischka crystal pumps. They're slightly bigger than my normal size, but that actually works in my favor. They're comfortable, my toes can move, and I can already tell I won't be plotting my escape from them halfway through the evening. While I was there I grabbed a strapless bra and even found a formal bag that works better than the clutch I originally planned to carry. Sibyl at checkout was the perfect finishing touch to my morning. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like the Nordstrom culture of service I studied back in graduate school.

Not ony did Zenia welcome me warmly, and patiently listen to my rambling about the cut, she validated my upset and walked me through the issues and how she was going to fix it. Her confidence made me immediately feel at ease! Zenia was honest in how much she could fix the first visit and we came up with a game plan to correct some areas over the next few visits once my hair grew out a bit more. After the first visit, I was sold. Zenia even taught me how to style my bangs at home! I received so many compliments on my haircut. I had my second cut with her a few weeks ago and my hair just keeps getting better! The salon is cute, well-organized and has a chill vibe!
