WORST LIMO SERVICE EVER I forget who drove me but it was an ex cop older white man. First of all they had my Card on file when I got there so I assumed they'd charge my card like they said. When I got there he asked for the $1,000 in CASH?! Definitely was suspicious of that and the fact they didn't let me know before hand... why? And shouldn't you warn somebody so they can be ready. Okay no big deal stopped by a ATM and paid it but it was frustrating. Now the second thing I get into the limo and it's dirty! Mind you this was amidst COVID and he told me he just came from a wedding. Why would you not clean up? There were cups filled with bourbon and trash all around. I chose to ignore it but I should've said something but it was my birthday and I didn't want to ruin it by a argument. THIRD thing.... The man driving said I couldn't have the divider up! He told me because some of my guests were under the age of 21 nobody could drink even though I was turning 22! What the hell?! He said I couldn't keep the divider up! Now, he kept talking to us the whole ride. We trying to turn up and this man keeps asking us questions how old are you? where are you from? Like... now I appreciate him being polite but after a while it gets irritating. After that we decided to go to a club. The club was packed and weee waiting outside and the limo driver comes out the car and comes into the building and asks what's going on. We say we're waiting and goes and tells the security guard that my cousin is 18 and shouldn't be allowed to go in! WHAT THE HELL!???? Now the club was 18+ but after that we were so embarrassed we chose a different place. I ended my ride early and couldn't go on with the ridiculousness. NEVER AGAIN! Update: limo showed up on time at 1045 and the pick hummer arrived! Frank the concierge was very nice. He didn't have a GPS cable but luckily my friend did. I was taken back by the dents in the body but I figure normal wear and tear. We roll in the limo and the interior is old and worn, coming away at the seams in areas. Floor and ceiling lights didn't work (lit up at corners but did not go across). Blue tooth radio worked though! Frank was professional and got us everywhere on time. Second stop, he went to open the lambo door and the handle broke... He fell backwards! He claimed he was fine and I had my friend who was a nurse speak with him privately, and he reassured us he was fine. Poor Frank! The main door was now out of commission and we had to use the back side doors which are labeled emergency exits, smaller but worked to get us in and out. We opted to have lunch with the tour and the food was good, but we had to set up a table outside to eat bc the wineries will not let you bring outdoor food in (I was warned about this but I was unaware I'd have to set up a table, like pull chairs and such) Also, although our tickets were waiting for us we noticed other wine tours had tables reserved which we did not. We stood on time and got to and from safely. As a service dispatcher, I found the person answering the phone to be less than friendly. When I called to confirm the night before he said, "yeah didn't you get the confirmation email?" I did, a few days ago. This was a big event so I was just checking... In summary; got the limo I wanted but it needs some TLC, great chauffeur Frank, handle broke- hope Frank's Ok!, wineries knew we were coming but no table reservations, just tickets. I'd try another company next time. I'm currently in the process of booking my vineyard trip with Goldstar limousine specifically due to their pink hummer limousine. It's my moms 55th birthday and my dad is having shoulder surgery soon, so we didn't want people at the house or too much stress. I haven't booked a limo company in awhile but have had my fair share of dealings in the past, however I've never done a wine tour. Anyway, I've put the deposit down and picked out the wineries via their website. However when the contract came I was a bit taken back to see I would have to pay the balance in cash, which I'm told is to pay for the vineyard stops, ok maybe that's true but that's a lot of cash... Also the terms and conditions at the bottom have me unnerved... I am paying more for the pink hummer and using this company specially for that purpose but there terms say they can "substitute" due to circumstances out of their control... Yikes! So far the customer service has been good, I got the contract back within 2 days from making my deposit and emails have been answered almost instantly (and my mom has been wanting to change the time... She thinks I'm taking her to brunch...) So 5 stars, will update with pics of my first vineyard trip in a pink hummer limo and hopefully a glowing 5 star review :). read more

Do not trust this company with any special event! We booked a winery tour *party bus* out East for a surprise birthday party. We specifically booked this company because they assured me we could have a bathroom on board if we had at least 21 guests. Not only did our bus not have a bathroom on board but it wasn't even the right type of bus! 1. Bathroom: Less than 24 hours before our scheduled tour we were told we would be getting a bus without a bathroom even though I have multiple emails confirming we would get a bus with a bathroom. We were upset but at least there was some notice before our pickup. They also offered a partial nominal refund for the bathroom because they said there were no buses available at all with bathrooms for us. 2. Party bus: What they didn't tell us was that we were not longer getting a party bus they sent us a coach bus! When the bus pulled up I called Gold Star Limo to complain and get a price reduction because this wasn't remotely what we ordered. Greg- I think he's an owner- yelled at me and threatened to have the bus drive off even though all 22 of my guests were present and on time. I have booked wine tours multiple times through other companies and never had an issue and never written a negative review about a company before. But this company is absolutely awful and you should all stay away. read more

I used gold star for my bachelorette party we went to the wineries the driver was on time and friendly and got us to all the wineries all time. I used them again for my wedding again the driver was friendly and they were on time. They even helped me out because my wedding venue was 10 mins from were I live and I was getting married there I didn't need a limo for 4 hours I spoke with Greg and he worked with me. I used them again for my honeymoon to take us to and from the airport. I am going away in Nov and I will definitely be using them to take us to the airport again! Don't book a limousine here or you will be sorry!!!! This company ruined our daughters prom by not showing up for her and 15 of her friends. We booked a 16 passenger limousine for our daughters prom and 15 of her friends. The limousine was supposed to be at the pre prom house by 3:30pm. There was 60 other seniors at this pre prom house and by 3:30pm all the limousines were there except Gold Star for our daughter and her friends. We called at 3:30pm we were told the driver was running a little behind but would be there in 15 minutes. We called again at 3:45pm again we were told in another 15 minutes. At 4:00pm all the other limousines were leaving with all the other kids and my daughter and her friends just sat there waiting. We called again at 4:00pm now we are told their driver was lost. We said how can he be lost when this is your business picking up people and there is navigation. By now my daughter was crying as we were responsible for hiring this company for a limousine. Once we realized Gold Star was not showing up we called all the kids parents to see how many of them could pick up kids to drive them all to the prom. Our daughter and the 15 other kids had to deal with this bad experience and arrived over an hour late to prom due to this horrible company. read more

Had a birthday wine tour with 22 people using Gold Star Limousine and I have no complaints at all. The bus was on time, beautiful, clean and complete with cups and water bottles. Our driver Joey was polite, funny and professional from the minute we got on the bus. We tried to clean up before we got off at the first winery and he was INSISTENT on doing it himself. Worst Limo service on LI...they take your money and forget to pick you up!!!!! Lets start with "what service?" We booked the limo company for a drop-off and pick-up service to my brother's wedding. They have given us a great price of slightly below $1000. The full payment was required at the day of order, before the pick up, which we satisfied. Next, here comes the big day, mom, dad, and 12 other close family members gather at the house and patiently are awaiting the limo pick up to bring them to their son's, brothers's, nephew's big day...the wedding day!!! Pick up is scheduled for 6pm....it's now 6:15pm. - dad "let's call and find out why are they running late" After about 15 calls, and all were forwarded to a voice mail, it's now about 6:45pm and no limo in sight, no call backs...nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow...so we all get in our cars and rush to the reception hall! After 8pm on that day they call back and leave a sorry voice mail "my driver got a flat and his cell phone battery was dead...blah blah blah" Full of BS!!!!!!!! Never use this company!!! I will definitely use Gold Star in the future. We rented a Brand New Chrysler 300 Stretch with a Jet door. We have some tall guys in our group so when it said 14 person Limo, it was closer to 11. But the ride was brand new and clean. There were hi-tech lighting and electronics throughout. The driver was professional and safe. He stayed with us the whole day. Transparency of cost was important when coordinating the cost of the service. And the best thing about these guys is there were no hidden fees. I just recently used this company for a winery tour for my birthday this past weekend. Everything went perfectly as planned! The party bus was there to pick us up on time, the bus was so nice and clean with Bluetooth so we can play our own music. Each winery was ready for us with our tasting tickets available upon arrival which let us enjoy the whole time there. The food provided was so good! Our driver Danny was awesome and got us to each winery and home on time. I highly recommend and will definitely be using them again!! read more

I have never ever had a limo service treat my friends and me as horribly as your company has. We hired your limo company for my best friend's bachelorette party and you literally almost ruined the night. What gets me the most, is that your driver wouldn't even take us to our hotel. We rented the limo for 5 hours. We were picked up at 4:30pm in Long Islsnd, driven to the city, and saw a show. Then upon coming out, we were told by the driver that he could not drive us to the hotel because it would put him over his time. Apparently you neglected to tell us in the multiple times that we spoke AND also left it out of our contract that the 5 hours includes the 1 hour it would take the driver to drive back to Long Island. So we were stuck having to get out of the limo at 8:30pm with our suitcases to catch taxis to our hotel! Because we were not going to pay your company a dollar more after we had already paid so much money for 5 hours when we didn't even get to use the limo for the last hour!!! Your driver wanted another $125 to drive us the 10-15 mins to our hotel. We had made arrangements based on our belief that we would have the limo for the full 5 hours and told you our itinerary AND that we were staying at a hotel in the city. WHY did you not tell us that the cost included that 1 hour drive back for for the driver or put it in our contract? That was not only horrible customer service but a horrible thing to do when this night was supposed to be a happy, fun celebration for my friend. BEWARE! Do not book with this company!! I had booked a wine tour through this company for my mothers 60th birthday. With the packages available on the site, and after my first phone call I was supposed to pay a total of $94 per person. Greg sent me my first invoice that reflected $100 per person. When I called him and questions why he was charging more after we talked on the phone about the price he told me in a very nasty tone "I can't remember who wants mayo on their sandwich, I don't remember our phone conversation"... he then proceeded to tell me that my group of 30 people would be getting the large bus so we were getting a deal anyway. I decided to let it go since my party was that next day, and I could not cancel with such short notice . When the bus arrived, they did not send a larger bus. At ALL times at least 1-2 of my guest had to stand because there was not enough room (and this was after I had 2 people cancel the morning of!) . Another reason I booked through them was because they coordinated the winery reservations...but as soon as we pulled up to the first winery they did not have ANY reservation for my group. ***So not only did they overcharge me, they did not provide the right size bus, and did not make the winery reservations for my group of 30 people as they were supposed to.**** Save your money, and sanity and book with someone else! read more

We rented the pink stretch hummer for my daugher's bachelorette party. We booked the vineyard tour. The driver Brian was great! He showed up early and took great care of everyone. The lunch that was included was delicious. We went to Laurel Lakes, Duck Walk and Palmer vineyards. Laurel Lakes and Duck Walk were the crowd favorites. The only negative thing I can say is the inside seats of the pink hummer were a bit worn. There was some duct tape to prevent the leather from further ripping. Once we were all seated, you could barely notice. The bar area and the colorful lights were great. read more

They ruined my family outing as I had to cancel the trip as I would not allow my family memebers into such a horrible vehicle.
