    Drunken Noodles (take out)
    Steve A.

If you enjoy this type of Asian food, I can't recommend this place enough. They are the original owners of Champa on the East Side of Providence. The thing that separates this place from others is that everything tastes like you've been invited to an Asian grandmothers kitchen. The dumplings, rangoon and shumai are made by hand from scratch. It makes a big difference in freshness and quality. Things like the chili oil are made in-house. The Tom Yum soup is great and they don't skimp. Every spoon will have protein, tomato and/or mushroom. I'm a fan of the noodle dishes like the drunken noodle and pad thai. You can customize the spice level, so you can tame it down or get it extra spicy like me but you aren't forced to deal with it. If you're in the area, or enjoy trying traveling a little to try delicious food, give this literal mom and pop location a try. You won't be disappointed.

Oh how we've missed you Peter and your wife's food! Do yourself a flavor - you won't be disappointed and go support this small family owned restaurant - great food, great prices and great people! We discovered Champa in Providence (on Hope St) a few years back and absolutely loved the food and hospitality. Recently found out they sold their successful business with the intent of retiring - but decided to give it another go. The restaurant is in an unassuming spot in the back roads of Cumberland (Woonsocket line). I started a new job in the area and of course HAD to support them! There is a parking lot - so points there vs Hope St! I placed my order and reminded him who I was and he of course remembered me and that the mister LOVES his food sa sa spicy - not American grade spicy but Asian grade spicy, good kick but you can still taste the flavor. We went with the crispy rolls, tom yum soup, drunken noodles, chicken laap (laotion chicken salad) and fiery pad thai. Everything was just as good as we remembered, but the drunken noodles is always a favorite. This spot is def a bit more spacious and not as cramped as the Providence location but it was a sad day walking into an empty restaurant. Peter said business has been tough, they were also victims of a recent break in . The food is fresh and delicious, they put so much pride into their food and it shows. So if you're hungry for some good food - give them a call, fill your bellies and leave happy!

Friendly owner, great food at great prices. We had the pad thai and champa and both were great - we'll be going back (soon I hope!)

We were seated almost immediately at 1pm on a Saturday. We ordered the chicken green curry and tofu pad see ew. The food was very good. I didn't think I was that hungry but I finished my whole plate. I also got a jasmine tea which came in a cute little teapot. 10/10 would recommend, and I would definitely come back if I were in the area again!

It is one of the few places I will actually willingly call to place a take out order. Everyone who works here is so friendly. I always opt for take out and the food travels well. They have a small area for dining in and it is always packed! I have never had anything bad here, I recommend anything and everything. I have tried tons of the seafood and veggie appetizers, basically all of the noodles, curries, and mixed veggie dishes. Recently I was sick and decided I needed spicy soup! They made me khao soi with veggies and tofu. It was so so so good! I love that they package the soup with the noodles separately. I can't wait to come back to try the egg noodle soup! I enjoyed my takeout with my Yelp chopsticks too!
