Got the 4 piece tender meal with gravy and fries as my side. They don't have coke products so has to get a Pepsi. The service was very friendly and nice. I went through the drive thru and this being my first time the menu was easy to understand and the lady was very nice and helpful helping me decide what to get , she also suggested the corn nuggets which were very good too. The only thing was even though i went through the drive thru and my order was taken fast it took about 15 minutes for my food to be ready. I could see the inside and there was no one else inside so i don't understand what the hold up was. read more

We stopped by at the Fayridge Dr location on Beltway 8 a few weeks ago, and ordered chicken meal. It took about 15 minutes as the chicken was freshly fried and it was unbelievably tender and fresh. Taste was great. It came with a healthy size of the fried okra that www very tasty also. The biscuits were different bu, again, tasty and melting in our mouth. We had been there first ttime, and it was a great experience. As it was about 2 PM, the traffic was slow and steady. We recommend it to anyone who likes freshly cooked, tender chicken. They also serve the fish the same way. For those, who preferred the halal meat, please ask at the counter. They do oblige. Great place for family also. read more

The food was good, service was horrible. My order got messed up in more than 2 ways and all I ordered was 2 Jr meals. I ordered a spicy tender I got 2 originals. I ordered and paid for an extra tender, didn't receive it. Both my orders were suppose to come with a roll, didn't receive one in either meals. Highly disappointed, recommended to check your order before driving off!! That was my mistake thinking they could get an easy order right smh. read more

I had to meet a client at this location. When we arrived we both sat down and we started doing some paperwork that needed to be done and we said that we would get orders from order something after we finished. A young woman came out and said that we couldn't stay there unless we ordered something. We continued to work on the paperwork and another person came out. A young man came up and said that we had to order something so we went up to the counter to order something. I didn't want to do a full order because it would be cold by the time we finished and I got back to the house. So we ordered one piece of chicken and 2 cups of water until we could finish. The person behind the counter the young lady that came out the first time at was behind the counter and she was on the phone and I made mention that that's not good for her to be on the phone if she's working. So from there we had the worst trouble for nothing. The young lady came out again and she said you have to order more than one piece of chicken and you can't do business in here. My client tried to explain to her that he's a regular customer and the manager knows him and we would be finished in just about 15 or minutes. she didn't want to hear this, so she supposedly called her manager and told him what was going on. The thing is I'm not sure what or who she was talking to because she was speaking her language of which I have no idea how to speak or do I understand. so she left she went back to the back behind the counter and then she comes back and she says we have to leave or she's going to call the police and we kind of looked at her like well can we just finished doing our paperwork and then will order some more and she said no you need to leave. You can go over to the other side which is the gas station size and do you finish your paperwork there but you can't stay in here she even told us that we had to leave because she was cleaning up so that they could close. They didn't close until 11 o'clock at night and this was about 730. And she kept reiterating that if we didn't leave she was going to call the police. So needless to say she did not get the large order that I was going to do we did get up and we went over to the other side and finish the paperwork that took us about 10 more minutes to do and then we left. I will never go to that restaurant to buy anything. I am a notary signing agent. I have met clients at several restaurants with no hassle. read more

The food was fresh and was way above the average fast food standard.The service was great with great advice about the running promotion and overall food experience was way better than any of my recent expectation with other fast food franchises.The tables were clean and so was the location as pretty much the location is new itself. A definite recommendation for this place for anyone who is in the area. read more

this is the worst golden chick i have ever been to in my life. first the lady at the drive thru already had a attitude when she was taking the order. when i get to the window she charges me for the wrong thing and she's laughing about it as if i'm her friend. then she proceeds to give me the wrong order and says that the new guy got our order wrong and he doesn't know what he's doing, and then she continues laughing more. after 20 minutes of waiting she finally gave us the order just for us to have to go back inside because she got it wrong again and the "new guy" was laughing too. Well last night will be the last time I go back to Golden Chick, I didn't want to come back here , but my son wanted "Golden Chick ". First off I asked for the 15 mixed chicken, because I don't like thighs, , get up to the window the young man said we don't have any fried wings, so I said then substitute for legs because I really don't like thighs it's 6pm do you would think they should be set with having what they need for their menu, so I get home and guess what I have in my box nothing but thighs 2 legs thrown in there, I paid for mixed, the last time I came they put the family dirty rice in a small container, so they will cheat your out of your purchase, if you would have offered to make more wings I would have waited, but I was substituting for the legs I thought I was okay, so it's safe to say for me I will never come back here, just for the dishonesty, plz treat your customers with respect and stop getting over on them by putting just anything in your bags read more

this was our first time trying golden chick but I have heard so much about them so I decided to give it a try. We decided on the chicken tenders and the catfish, the okra was great and then chicken was very seasoned. The special sauce was great as well. I will be coming back.
