Went through the drive-thru, and the staff taking orders were friendly. The line was long, which was to be expected, but unfortunately, I don't think the food was worth the wait. The burger was pretty decent...kind of messy, but not bad. I'm a lover of fries with my burger, so this is where the real disappointment came in. The fries were absolutely cold and hard, as if they had been fried hours earlier. I'm not sure how that happens when the restaurant is so busy. You would think fries would be going out constantly and served hot and fresh. I also ordered a chocolate shake, which seemed to be vanilla ice cream mixed with Hershey's chocolate syrup. That wouldn't have been a huge problem, except it wasn't even mixed well. For half the time, it just tasted like plain vanilla. I hate to give a review like this as it seems that everyone loves this franchise but for me it is a huge no. The burger itself was mid at best but the fries were honestly the worst fries that I have ever had. Cold and flavorless. I couldn't eat them. I had to throw them in the trash. The last time I had, In-N-Out Burger was in Los Angeles many years ago and it wasn't bad then but this experience definitely pushed me away from this restaurant and I can't see myself growing back. This location would have probably rated 4 stars except you arent able to get In and Out, especially on weekends. Once parked you are unable to leave because the drive through line blocks exiting. Also terribly crowded inside which makes for a chaotic meal with long waits for food and drinks. This location is too small for the crowd. read more

It's still obviously a fast food restaurant so don't expect fine dining but for a quick meal after grocery shopping at the HEB next door it's perfect. Both the cashier and girl who handed me my food looked like they really didn't want to be there. The food: there in fact was tomato in my burger, no biggie, I pulled out the two big slices. I'm sure some seed or something stayed behind because I could still taste the tomato which I hate tomatoes. The meat not cooked all the way through and did not even receive the spread or mustard. I ordered a 3x3 with chopped chilis, a Flying Dutchman, and a side of fries. The 3x3 was fantastic -- great flavor, and the peppers really pulled everything together. The Flying Dutchman, however, wasn't very impressive. It was just two patties and cheese and definitely felt like it was missing the bun and sauce. The fries are one of my favorites on the menu. The chocolate shake wasn't very sweet at all and kinda had a hint of chocolate taste which I actually really enjoyed. The service was good. Kind, patient and accommodating. They didn't mind switching my order from "eat in the car" to bagged and were happy to give my pup a water cup. The workers were mostly teenagers. A conveniently located In-N-Out that is clean and well maintained. The service was not the best though. When i ordered my meal, I asked for several thing to be added (like extra lettuce, more toasted buns, chopped onions). The cashier looked very annoyed that I wanted to customize the burger, roller her eyes, and just did not provide good customer service. She also asked me "are you sure?" when I wanted to add extra lettuce. Not sure if that employee was having a bad day, but it makes me not want to come back to this location again. Quick update- we've been frequenting this location more and more and the superb service and consistently good burgers with high quality ingredients really warrants a 5. Today makes the 4th time visiting In and Out. The food has been consistently good. We got 2 Double Doubles ( Animal Style). The burger was fresh to order with fresh Lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The Animal Style has a secret sauce and caramelized onions, which makes the burger and fries extra special. The fries, on the other hand, were a bit disappointing this visit. Not even a couple of minutes after we got our food. The fries were cold, like the fries were cooked 10 minutes prior, the put the Animal Style on the fries before giving it to us. I don't know how they do it but the way they handle those 2 drive-thru lines and their ordering system - man they've got it down pat! You'd swear they'd been there forever and weren't a brand new place. The food is absolutely wonderful. I hadn't had it in so many years and it was just as good as my very first bite. Not only is it delicious, it doesn't fill you up and for me I love it because most fast food makes me sick... but not In-n-Out! Fries aren't as good as Whataburger's but they were still good! This location has been open for over a month, and it is still challenging to find parking in their (a bit on the small side) lot; they are running two lines of drive-through, and security people are directing traffic around the building. The counter staff was friendly, efficient, and even in the mood to joke a bit with the customers. The dining room clean-up staff had difficulty cleaning up after customers even though they seemed to be trying their best. A little help and courtesy from the customers would help this. Our burgers were barely warm and dry, much like beef when massively overcooked. It was nice that we were asked if we wanted onion on our burgers but weren't asked our preferences on other toppings. To be honest, the fries had a taste and texture akin to styrofoam. They were the least tasty fries I have ever been served. The shakes were the star of the meal- although we felt they were on the small side. Not on the menu, but available is the "Neopolitan" shake; heaven in a cup. Try it! My advice? The drive through lines are always long and daunting no matter what hour of the day you go however they're pretty efficient in there and the lines move relatively fast. My go to order is always the cheeseburger animal style with animal style fries. The meat is always cooked perfectly and food is fresh. I also always spoil my two fur babies with a pup patty (basically an unseasoned beef patty) or a Flying Dutchman without the grilled onions.
