I mean I can only assume that this place is always this exciting.  First, there was a guy trying to holler at a girl in a red car (seriously, does this ever work out for you?).  I mean maybe that is the way to pick up a girl from the Whataburger parking lot. Maybe that's what Whataburger girls dig. I dunno, I've never had to try that.  Then there was an interaction between a lady in a truck and the lady working the drive through lines. The employee went to verify the truck lady's order and it didn't match up.  So, the employee lady told the truck lady that she had got into the wrong line. To which the truck lady said, "No I'm not in the wrong line, the guy who took the order didn't say what line to get in."  The employee lady stuck to her guns and said "Yes they did. You're in the wrong line".  The truck lady then said "Did you just call me a bitch-ass?!"  The employee lady said "no ma'am I did not". But the truck lady said "Yes you did".   (I'd like to offer an interjection here from this unbiased onlooker...the employee absolutely did not call the truck lady any names. I heard her call her ma'am, but maybe here in Louisiana ma'am means bitch-ass. To be safe I will not call anyone ma'am until I'm out of the area.) The interaction went on for a few more minutes, but man I wish it would have gone on for hours. Finally the truck lady got her order and left. Then it was my turn to have my order verified. It didn't match up. I was in the wrong line. Seriously, how do you know what line to get in? Maybe put up some pictures, or diagrams, or signs. On second thought, don't ever change Bossier City Whataburger.   Don't ever change.

The burgers are nicely grilled with a good char on the edges. The fish sandwich was only OK. My wife really likes the chicken sandwich. The fries are good but I love the tater tots more. The staff are friendly and they always seem like they are glad to see me. Plenty of seating available. It gets a little loud when they are busy but not so loud you can't hear when they call your number to let you know your food is ready. Never a long wait for food. The parking lot is small and gets blocked in when the drive-thru line gets long. Minor inconveniences really. The food is so good the other stuff doesn't detract.
