The only misses were the Won Ton Soup (we felt the flavor of the broth was not quite right) and the pork chow mein (it arrived lukewarm and lacking in flavor but it was an improvement after dousing it in chili sauce). Chinese Kitchen doesn't appear to be located in the best neighborhood, but it is easy to tell that this establishment has been around for quite some time. The best part of our dining experience was the service. Our greeter and server welcomed us, took our order and checked in on us multiple times. Yeah it my first time going to a buffet and I took my disabled daughter, when I first got there and asked I for table they were being rude. So I I had complained about the food how it's nasty and blend and I was gonna tell them a few tips on how to make it better. I one of the ones started telling me if I don't like it just to leave. Spending the night at Visalia heading to Sequoia tomorrow, we decided to try this place because we were craving Chinese food and the Google reviews were better than the ones here. We walked around the buffet before committing to dine here. Oh, we're glad we ate here. The food tasted fresh and nicely done by an all Chinese staff. The cooks know what they are doing. This is probably the worst Buffet restaurant in Visalia. I was appalled by the unsanitary lobby and kitchen. I seen a roach crawling besides the tables as I was seated and were probably about the size of my big toe on my right foot. Nevertheless, the desserts were limited and the ice cream had the texture of shaved ice with vanilla flavoring in it. The waiter assumed I was done eating and didn't bother asking if we were okay with everything, she just handed us our bill and walked away. I won't be coming back here again.
