I work in town and it's a convenient place to come and eat. Although there aren't many seating places, the food is amazing! The owners are always very welcoming and seem to remember you from your order which is pretty neat. I always try to order dinner here when I'm in a hurry and dinner is coming up. I'd like for them to be open on Mondays as I'm usually struggling with o being my lunch with me but I'll continue to come here as long as they don't close. read more

We dropped in for dinner for the first time. From the outside the place looks sort of iffy and not very appealing, but once inside it's actually a very nice, clean restaurant. We ordered takeout and several folks came in while we were there to pick up orders, so it appears they are quite busy for a Thursday night. Everything appears to be made to order so we didn't object to the wait for our order, which was less than 15 minutes. I thought the sesame chicken, spring roll, broccoli and rice was good even though I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food. My husband had the shrimp fried rice, which he said was fine but liked mine better. Prices for lunch plates are naturally better than prices for dinner but I feel sure we will eat here again. read more

This is absolutely the most unassuming little Chinese restaurant I have ever visited, the name on the wall is so faded, it looks like it's been out of business for years, when you walk through the front doors, every fiber of your being tells you to leave, but I really wanted some Chinese food, and I was there, cut to the end of the chase, the food was surprisingly good, and the staff was very friendly, it is carry out only, I had General Tso's chicken, and had more than enough for two meals, the little to go box is very deceptive, We will go back again read more

Okay folks - this place is the real deal! The outside ain't much to look at, but the food is phenomenal! Their Singapore Mei Fun is the BOMB, the best we've had in a 50 to 100 mile radius, and any of their appetizers will hit the mark and would stand up against anything anywhere from Winston-Salem to Mount Airy to Elkin and up into Virginia at Galax or Wytheville. There aren't a ton of places to get takeout in the area on a Friday night. I found Golden China by mistake. I called in my order from the parking lot and they made sure I knew where they were because it's very oddly located in a parking lot with other places and kind of off to the side. My food was ready pretty fast. I ordered something simple, shrimp fried rice, an egg roll and wonton soup. They were each good, but nothing spectacular. This restaurant doesn't look like much but the food is awesome! I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch combo. I got a large portion that was hot and fresh and at a great price. By far the best Chinese food ever. The shrimp and garlic sauce Is amazing. I only have the onion and green pepper in it, but it comes with baby corn snow peas carrot muchrooms and water cheastnut. AMAZING. I love the crab Rangoon also. read more
