It's been over a year since my last review here. I've just not been eating much Chinese food lately. In addition, the Chinese take out close to my house closed down recently. I was thinking about Triple Delight & this place was top of my list! Great food quality & nice size portions. It's a bit on the pricey side as you don't get the lunch size or price only the dinner which is bigger. Their Spring Rolls are less than average & I cannot recommend them. read more

Inconsistent quality. The lady who runs the fort mill location is super friendly. When the food is good it is awesome. Being from New England there is a difference to chinese food from other parts of the country. The egg foo young and chicken fingers remind me of home, when they properly done. There's been a few times that the quality lacked and the chicken fingers were overcooked and the rice was bland. So long as you go on a good night this is a solid 8 out of 10! read more

The portions are huge! We liked the potstickers and egg rolls. The noodles, chicken, pork and beef dishes were alright. This is more of a last minute "pick up/to go" restaurant. It's been a very long time since I've been here but decided to give it another try. Not good. Ordered one spring roll. I received two mini (like 1.5 inch long) spring rolls that were empty. Just tasted like fried rice paper. Chicken mei fun had zero flavor - like absolutely zero flavor and very little chicken. Orange beef did not taste like orange or beef. The crab rangoons were okay and the sweet and sour sauce with them was tasty. The reason for the one star. The other star is because the food was ready when I arrived and wasn't crazy expensive. THE AROMA!!!! Smells so good in here! This is such a beautiful place and it was so nice and quiet until one of the customers came in here hollering at the lady behind the desk I swear she has to have the upmost amount of patience because this lady was literally talking to her as if she couldn't understand what she was saying saw the lady was literally sitting there explaining how she could understand her.... Then the customer proceeded to change your order for different times and got mad because there was a lot of confusion on why her order was $30.... That lady definitely has more patience than I do because I would've told that customer to decide her meal highlight or some thing and then come back...smh some people are so difficult for no reason... after she ordered she proceeded to talk on her phone on speakerphone...smh Anyway! Other than her (lady behind the counter) fantastic patients.... The restaurant was clean and every table had salt pepper and soy sauce there was no shortage of condiments that you may have needed or straws or napkins! I also was in love with the decor my favorite one was the giant blue orchid painting that was on the wall. As far as how the food tasted I ordered the vegetable seafood soup and it was very flavorful and definitely had an abundance jampacked of vegetables and some seafood. My daughter ordered the wonton soup and it was delicious she had absolutely no complaints. My son ordered the sesame chicken and fried rice lunch special and his only complaint was the eggroll was a little soggy with oil but that's normal. The food quality has declined over the recent six months. Lack of protein and vegetables in something so simple as beef lo mien is unacceptable. I ordered extra vegetables - good thing or I doubt I would have gotten any! I don't think six pieces of meat is acceptable either. And what Chinese restaurant does not have water chestnuts? I wanted to provide an update as it has been 3 years. We still visit Golden China as our go to Chinese restaurant. I still think it is a good go to option, but I still feel like they are not 5 star amazing. On our recent visit, we called in our order early as every time we go, it is busy. We were told a 10-15 minute wait. We left shortly after the call as we are about a 10-12 minute drive from this location. Unfortunately when we got there, it was still a wait, about 10 minutes. Not bad, but still not on with what was quoted. This time we got: 1. Beef and Broccoli - we always get this one as we really enjoy this one 2. Garlic Chicken - this is another one we always now get. The flavor is very good and the veggies (broccoli, mini corn, peppers, zucchini, are great! 3. General Tso's Chicken - a small - like very small, kick to it. But that extra spice adds the extra flavor. Very good! 4. Sesame Chicken - I like this one, but I also wanted to order this with the General Tso's Chicken that we have been ordering previously to see which I liked better. I've always loved Sesame Chicken, but here, the Tso's is so much better, just has that extra kick. The Sesame Chicken is good, but I'm just going to prefer us to get the previous 3 dishes each time going forward. 5. Egg Rolls - standard, but good. Another enjoyable experience. They are still busy during COVID just like they were before. Only difference is that they are only doing take out and not allowing dine in at this time. read more

We did carry-out from Golden China last night. Extensive menu. No fee for credit card purchases. Help yourself to the duck sauce, hot mustard, and soy sauce. "A" grade rating. Very large portions. The Moo Goo Gia Pan was tasty but needed more veggies to balance-out the mushrooms. General Tso's Chicken was good but the broccoli was tough. We will be back. read more

My normal go to Chinese spots are currently closed right now so we decided to try a different place because my pregnancy Chinese food cravings are strong. So we found this on Postmates. Overall, not the worst Chinese food I ever had, but not the best either. It's just your average neighborhood spot. We ordered crab rangoons, a hunan chicken combo, boubon chicken combo and side of plain lo mein. And an order of wonton soup I plan on eating for lunch tomorrow. Rangoons were good. Not too greasy and decent taste. My bourbon chicken was okay. I was expecting a non-breaded chicken, but tasted like they were battered a little. And the sauce was a little too sweet for me, but I appreciated the veggies. The rice was okay. Not a lot of flavor and mine tasted a little underdone. I did eat some lo mein and loved that. Nice thick noodles. The egg roll was also okay. I prefer to have a bigger roll with more filling. Hubby had the hunan chicken and thought it was okay. One good thing. The portion sizes are huge! So you do get a lot for your money. I'd eat here again if my other spots are still closed or I was looking for a cheap lunch. read more

Found a long hair in my food and pulled it out of my mouth after a couple of bites. Returned the food and got my money back but these people are not just nasty , they re also rude and disrespectful coz they didn t bother to apologize at all and they started to debate if it s their hair or not. This is our "go-to" New York Style Chinese take-out spot. There is not a big wow factor, but they are quick, clean and nice. The food is consistent, the portions are plentiful and the prices are fair. The team is sweet, friendly and remembers the customers that comes in repetitively. Had to take one star away b/c they changed their menu all of a sudden. I'd be ok with having to special order actual fried rice w/ a combo...since now, it comes w/ plain rice. Once again perseverance pays off. I am a newbie to South Carolina originally from Long Island NY. So we love our food and Chinese is at the top of the list, next to Italian which is my nationality lol. I have tried about 4 that we're not even close to the worse Chinese places in NY. I almost gave up hope but decided to try one more time before I would give up. Glad I stuck it out! This is better than most NY places I've gone to. Most of the restaurants I would compare this place to closed down after hurricane Sandy hit in 2012 so honestly, this beats the last several places I went to in NY too. The beef and broccoli, honey chicken and boneless ribs are not some left over food. The fried rice tastes fresh and the egg roll does not taste greasy. Also the food DOES NOT have the aftertaste of other cooked food lingering from an earlier order. Ordered in person around 2 pm and was out by about 2:15. The quality and device has tremendously declined over the years. It used to be my spot to go for Chinese takeout. Now I wouldn't even step inside the food is not even what' it used to be. They've reduced Ingredientes in their fried rice and other dishes that used to me a big difference in the plates. Now it's mediocre. read more

Was looking forward to trying this place for a while. Good yelp reviews and few friend recommendations. So today we jumped. What a disappointment. The only positive things I can say is that the cashier was nice and the portions were large. Other than that the food was a huge disappointment. You know it's bad when you ask someone your party, "do you have the beef?" And they respond, "I don't know". My chicken dish was loaded to the rafters with vegetables. Very small amount of actual chicken. The fried rice wasn't that good either. I tried my son's dish, which was beef and it did not taste like beef. My first time here. I went to try this place since it was rated 4.5 stars. Really? I guess most people who rated 5 stars haven't been to great Chinese restaurants. This was a joke with that high rating. Nothing extraordinary about this place. Food was ok. 3 stars is good enough. Noticed this almost new restaurant around the corner in Fortmill SC. It had a good rating but from fewer people on Yelp and we decided to visit here. The first thing that appealed to us was the restaurant was super clean! The food was the regular Chinese menu and we got some fried rice and chicken. There may be multiple dishes on the menu but they ended up tasting almost similar. We decided to dine in and don't expect too much of a service - the food comes in paper plates and you got to fetch your own water/soda. The food was hot and fresh with lots of vegetables! It was a relishing good experience! What more could you expect for a lunch less than 10$. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to grab a delicious Chinese lunch at a budget price in a clean place! read more
