My first time dining inside on my lunch break working at Fort Mill Hyundai dealership. Very friendly, courteous , and professional staff. Ambience and layout, and aesthetic art decor and wooden table and chairs feels very family inviting like eating at a guest's home. I ordered Hunan Beef with white rice and egg role off their lunch menu. Delicious and freshly made. Their broccoli is freshly cooked but not overcooked, and their asian rice is delicious. I have ordered Hunan Chicken on my first visit but for pickup only. The presentation of the food is very welcoming and colorful. The music and ambience is very relaxing and calming. If you enjoy asian fusion and Chinese style cuisine, this place will become your favorite. Even better than Asian Red Bowl, and i eat there a lot too. I discovered this place during COVID but never really tried much of their food until recently. I picked up a menu one day and they seemed to have a wide variety of different options. It seems to be a family run operation and they are in a good location with a lot of local traffic. I was in the area and decided for 'take out'. They do have booths and tables inside for sit down dining. I had a taste for buns and dumplings so I tried their steamed options and they were just OK. I got takeout DoorDash from here and I'm still dreaming about the shrimp fried rice--so full of flavor. My kids even loved their lo mein.

I had tried Big Wok more than 10 years ago and didn't think much of it, but have changed my mind recently. It's close to home and my previous go to place switched owners. It's a little place tucked in a shopping center with a Harris Teeter and next to a tanning salon. There's a few tables to eat inside as well. The menu has many Chinese dishes and hibachi. They also have a selection of appetizers that you don't always find at other local spots like steamed buns and shrimp and chive dumplings. I usually order online. Note I think lunch specials need to be placed at the store for the price. I've ordered a few things now and they do have some great food. The sesame chicken is the best I've tried. It's huge chunks of white meat and great flavor. Last night we had the Kung Pao chicken and it was very good. Chicken was tender, veggies were crisp and sauce was spicy and light. The plain lo mein is a hit for our little one. Egg rolls are also very good and come with a tasty spicy mustard sauce. I initially ordered bourbon chicken and thought it was just okay. Same with a lot of the appetizers. The dumplings remind me more of potstickers, not the thick kind I like. Also note there is an extra charge for getting brown rice or fried rice with a dinner entree. We'll order here in the future and will try more dishes. It's a good little go to place when you have a craving for Chinese. read more

We got takeout from there and wasn't impressed at all. The wonton soup was the best thing of the night. The hot and sour soup was all broth, barely had any tofu or any other stuff in it. The dumplings were bland, the Hongkong steam buns were cold by the time we got home and just not flavorful as I know them to be from other places. The crispy chicken egg rolls were a flop. The General Tso Chicken was awful, was soggy and not crispy and not good flavor. Last the Singapore noodles were ok not the best I have had but glad that I had something to eat. The egg roll wasn't good, seemed like it was made a week ago and had an odd texture. Lomein tasted and smelled charred and like it had been cooked in a pan that hadn't been washed in a day or two. Absolute junk. We ordered chow fun and the noodles were super soggy and disgusting. We got a few appetizers as well as sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour chicken is pretty difficult to mess up so that was fine. Otherwise the crab Rangoon has NO taste, the bang bang shrimp surely wasn't bangin and has zero spice and has way too much breading on them and the shrimp dumplings were inedible. Ordered 4 meals, Mongolian beef had a entire onion in it. Orange chicken had a hair in it. Called and spoke to John. He said no credit for those meal but he would make me another 2 meal and for me to bring food back. I said no. He will give me food another time. It should have been called Mongolian onion. Last week my wife and I ordered chicken n broccoli, general Tso chicken (extra crispy w/lite on the sauce) steamed dumplings and crab rangoon. The dumplings were amazingly delicate and delicious. The chicken and broccoli was very flavorful but the general tso chicken was perfect. It was all white meat, cooked as asked! The fried rice was bland. Then I asked for some fresh mustard after I saw there was only a thimble full with the order. They were going to charge me $1.00 for another dab.
