Absolutely awful experience. This was hands down the worst restaurant I've eaten at in the city. The restaurant itself was dirty, the service was terrible, and the food was completely unacceptable. We dined in, so there was no excuse for receiving lukewarm, nearly cold chicken that tasted like it had been microwaved after being frozen. The texture was soggy and unappetizing. The BBQ ribs were clearly old, covered with a slab of sauce to hide their age and lack of quality. To make matters worse, they charged a $4 table service fee and still had the nerve to ask for a tip. Paying extra for poor service and inedible food is insulting. The entire experience felt like an afterthought, from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the quality of the food. I ordered chicken chow mein among other items via Uber Eats. My husband's order was correct and delicious. My chow mein though was missing and instead there was a container of vegetables and chicken in broth. I complained to Uber Eats and was given a refund and immediately I re-ordered because i craved chow mein. When it arrives I'm shocked to see it's another container of vegetables and chicken in broth. At this point I started to believe I don't know what chow mein was. But my husband assured me chow mein is noodles. There were no noodles. By definition chow mein is a noodle dish!? We decided to order take out from this restaurant. We wanted something quick and easy. It was very easy to order. We ordered General Tso Chicken with white rice with Crab Rangoons. The General Tso Chicken had good flavor and there was lots of chicken. I believe it comes with a pint a white rice. The low star review was solely for the Crab Rangoons. They were literally empty. There was no filling inside any of them and it was a huge waste of money. I wouldn't order them again sadly. read more

Grabbed lunch here after shopping at Carolina Place Mall. I ordered a Chicken & Broccoli lunch combo walking out of the mall and it was ready when I walked into the restaurant. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Their fried rice was plentiful with egg and vegetables. Egg roll was on point. 4 stars because the food is fresh and appropriately sized, but there was no wow factor in the flavors. It's great basic New York style Chinese food. read more

We were so glad that this place was open for take out despite COVID-19! They have a wide variety of options at great affordable prices. We had Shrimp with Lobster Sauce dinner combo ($8.75) and General Tso's Chicken dinner combo ($8.25). The dinner combos all come with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was large but a bit soggy and lacking in flavor. They were very generous with their portion sizes. General Tso's Chicken was not spicy at all, which I was actually glad for. Their Steamed Dumplings (8 pieces for $4.95) were delicious. You can request that the dumplings are either fried or steamed. We weren't sure when our food was ready for pick up because our name was never taken and therefore never called out, nor were we given a number to be called when our food was ready. I stopped here on a whim because I needed a quick bite. I chose an appetizer item, Boneless BBQ spare ribs. man, I am glad I stopped. These are great when fresh and hot. The meat is in small strips, which is cool and makes them easy to eat. And i felt like I got a lot for my money. The store was clean and they made the food quickly. If you come here thinking it's just another takeout place you are missing OUT! They have a secret menu with amazing authentic Chinese options. The owners were very patient in explaining them to me. I'm not a fan. This was my second time ordering from this place after a void of a couple months. The first time I tried it was pretty decent. This last time? Horrible. It was so bad until I would have asked for a refund except I used a food delivery service and wasn't leaving my house. So I just suffered and choked thru it as I was hungry. The chicken in the rice was overcooked and chewy. The Egg Foo Young itself was just okay. My objection to the gravy that went with it is this...please don't use curry powder. NOT EVERYBODY LIKES CURRY IN THEIR "CHINESE FOOD"!!! Everything else was just okay. I didn't get to try the sesame chicken as they forgot to pack that in my order. I really hate to give bad reviews. I do. But I need you guys to either retrain your cooks, get a new one or revamp your recipes. Your customers work hard for their money and your food just wastes it. Stopped in here for lunch. Ordered chicken and cashew. This was to go it had to weigh 2 or 3 lbs. It was packed full of cashews large mushrooms,peas,celery,carrots,water chestnuts and a few other vegetables. No frills. No fuss. Typical fast Chinese food. Smelled very oily when I went in, but I wasn't deterred...yet. I got takeout, since I was in a hurry to bring nourishment to my family. Their prices are cheap, and our food was just ok. The egg rolls were sooo greasy. I mean, there was oil dripping out of the inside. Almost as if it had been taking a bath in grease. The fried rice was good, abc the chicken dish was just ok. My biggest complaint was that almost everyone in our family felt sick in some way after eating. Not pukey. I ordered the house special lo-mein, crab rangoon, and the happy family. It took 1hr and 30 min for delivery and i only live 2 miles from the store. The food which is usually outstanding was simply awful. The crab rangoon was stale soggy and cold. The lo-mein was cold, noodles were not fresh and the dish was bland. The happy family was also awful. Brocoli was mushy, beef was almost rancid, and again the dish as a whole was bland. I hope this was just a bad night for this place. Ordered Kung pao shrimp and spring rolls. Not my thing, the kung pao "sauce" was the consistency of a light broth, (think flavored water). I did boy care for the lack of body.
