Chinese take out is what it is so I try to be optimistic about it. But...ordered house special soup with no carrots, had carrots. Everywhere I've been the soup is a pork or chicken based broth. Best China is a very inappropriate name. We ordered via Door Dash and I didn't realize the meals came with white rice. I wanted fried rice so I ordered over the phone and went to pick it up. What I got was some mushy, brown colored rice with nothing in it that's in traditional fried rice. I couldn't eat it at all. It just looked nasty. Also my general tso's chicken was not spicy at all. Incredibly RUDE! And the owner could care less if you're happy or a regular customer. The food is OK, not great, but OK. We used to order regularly. Their proximity to us is convenient. To the point they recognized who we were and what we ordered by the caller ID. The first time we called back and had an issue the owner offered no resolution and just hung up on us. Needless to say we haven't been back. I get it that they can't control the labor market, can't control the cost of ingredients, BUT the owner for sure can control the attitude and quality of customer service. The employees follow your lead. And if you read all of the additional reviews you'll see, unfortunately they do!! Yum! Got a big ol' heaping handful of.... stinkbug? In food service quality checks should always be a priority, I can understand a tiny fruit fly or a small ant, but cmon! A big a** stinkbug? That's a bit hard to miss. (I put half the serving in a bowl, didn't eat but a bite, don't worry.) Beside that, bland and visually unappealing dumplings, as for the rice I got I think I would have enjoyed it more had I not been digging around searching for more bugs. The chicken and sauce were fantastic - it was served with fried rice and broccoli (which I don't care for). This review would be a 5-star if that was still the case. Unfortunately. Servings are big, so you can bring the whole family and fill everyone up on just a few dishes. Sesame chicken is actually pretty good here out of the different dishes I tried. When it comes to chow mein, it was a surprise when I found that they serve it here without the fried noodles. That was a little disappointing as I am very used to chow mein with noodles. 2 weeks ago I came here had sesame tofu for lunch. It was good not great but good enough for me to return for lunch again. So yesterday, I go in order sesame tofu and the owner yells at me NO! It takes to long to cook he is to busy. Are you kidding me?! So I walked out letting him know you will be less busy now because you just lost a paying customer. He had Chicken Fried Rice prepared extra spicy and liked it very much. We both had enough for leftovers for lunch the next day. The space is long and narrow and located in a strip mall and on our visit, I questioned if the a/c was working because it was HOT in there!
