This location has a great tasting Wonton Soup. Assembled to order, I don't think I have seen one packed with so much meat and vegetables. The wontons were small but the filling tasted good. The proteins in the soup consisted of chicken and shrimp. There was plenty of meat for sure. The veggies were broccoli, celery, carrots, baby corn, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. The light broth had a good flavor as well. When I got this home, I found the container was 32 ounces filled to the brim. I added an avocado and lime juice to brighten the flavors but it was fine as is. It was one of the best valued wonton soups at under $10, considering the generous amount of ingredients in the soup. Highly recommended. I also ordered a Three Entree Combo meal. I had Orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, and BBQ Pork with sides of steamed rice and chow mein. The batter on the Orange Chicken was thick but it had a crispy crunch. Mushroom Chicken had mostly meat with just a few pieces of mushrooms and zucchini. BBQ Pork was seasoned well and tender with a few pieces of thick pork fat. These provided a textural contrast but are easily removed if desired. Not too sweet as well which is a plus. The ordered Veggie Egg Rolls were good with a ginger flavored filling. Overall, this combo was a satisfying meal with plenty of leftovers for later. Overall, a good experience with the food here. This Golden Chopstix location is on my list for a return visit, especially for the delicious Wonton Soup. read more

The dining area could use some serious deep cleaning; lots of grime and sticky tables. The customer service is pretty transactional. There's isn't much interaction. In comparison to other restaurants, their food is a lot cheaper than most. The fried rice, chow mien, BBQ pork and chicken entrees are fantastic. They give very generous portions and it's delicious. Where I have a problem is the hours that follow. Twice I've gotten really strong stomach pains that last a day or two and given their B health score, it's a bit concerning. I have eaten at this location a couple of times and won't be going back. The place is always hot inside because they are too cheap to run the air conditioning. I went to get food here today and it was taking forever. Numerous employees were checking their phones while handling food and not washing their hands. People usually get this one confused with the one across the street, bc that one is gross. This one is in the same parking lot as Wells Fargo. the minute I walked in, the employees were talking to each other, some were eating lunch in their lobby and there was one man behind the counter helping me, they were speaking their language so I couldn't understand them,which is not the issue at all. In the middle of me ordering one of the employees eating had came up to me an said " you're paying ebt right maam?" Which I can understand thats what they thought since my DEBIT card is yellow. I responded, " no ma'am it's a debit card." she then sat down without any response back. After I told her it was debit, they continued talking and laughing as if they were now surprised that I was paying debit instead of ebt. Decided to give this place a second chance after having bad service last time. I found out from one of the workers that they changed management, which would explain why the food lacks in taste and why they don't give as much food as they used to. I'm disappointed as this has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years, but I will be going elsewhere. The service is great and the servings are huge. I came here because it was recommended by my brother and by a lot of my friends so I figured I would give it a try. The inside isn't like normal fast food and is much more relaxed than Panda Express. I actually prefer to sit here and eat my food because it is a nice place to eat and it's peaceful. They have chairs outside to sit at to eat and we sometimes prefer that because my kids will want something else to eat from a nearby restaurant. We all grab our preferred dinner and sit together to eat. The prices are great compared to the other Chinese food in the area. I get a one item plate that is more food than most places two item plates. They don't skimp out around here. I also like that they give you a handful of cookies. I like to read my fortune cookie and if I don't like what it says I read another lol. read more
