I've repeatedly asked to be removed from their scam list - called, emailed, everything. I got one guy on the phone who was apparently in his car, told me "throw it away and 'f off'" (whole words uttered). I get their scam card with a picture of one house sent to a different one. The one time I got through to Matt Mutton (the scammer owner) was through his linkedin (he will not respond to his email) and I kept bothering him until he responded, he claimed he removed me from his list but did not. This has been going on for years. This latest time I emailed them, got blocked right away. So instead of taking 20 seconds to remove my info, they blocked my email. They'd rather continue to waste paper and postage harassing me than take the time to remove my info. How's that for ethical, folks? Don't take it from me; read about Matt Mutton - you can find stuff on line about him - let's just say this is not a good person in any way. Read about CEO Mike Osborne. Also lots of pretty awful stuff about these scammers on line. Check out their BBB profile if you really want to see how immoral these people are. It's super simple, folks - if they can't take twenty seconds to remove someone from their scam list - why in the world would you trust them with the most important thing in your life - your house? Do you think these are honorable people? Ethical? Not in this or any other dimension. They are absolute scammers who ignore the "do not mail" list and harass people. They will cuss at you on the phone rather than simple remove your info. They will hang up on you. They will not respond to your emails at all. Read about them online. Look at their BBB profile. Tells you everything. There are honest people in the real estate business looking to buy your home - or work with you. These are absolutely not them. Don't take it from me, read all the other bad reviews of these scammers. Read other reviews how proud these people are to scam people and harass people. It's a badge of honor for them to do this. I called and spoke with a person who IDed himself as Rick Alvarado. I told him I didn't appreciate a likeness of my home on this correspondence. He justified the card by saying it got me to call him, which was its purpose. Additionally, Rick Alvarado claimed he receives hundreds of calls just like mine, but every so often they do receive a solicitation. Rick Alvarado claimed this justifies their boorish behavior. This postcard is highly unprofessional. Any company which uses this sort of tactic is definitely not worthy of my business and I would question how they conduct their business. One of the contractors pinned my son, and I, in the driveway after appearing to show up high, and disappearing with the deposit stating he no longer had the money to finish. The company will make no efforts to keep you safe or to check the history of people sent to the home. Nor, show any concern for avoiding repeat offenses that leave you traumatized. At times, Tricon will have no idea of who came to your home and men will show up with no appointment. Tricon will hire people who are not licensed for plumbing, and/or electrical repair--such has caused issues that have yet to be resolved. One contractor broke a brand new refrigerator during a cabinet installation causing the flooring to also need to be replaced, and also broke a brand new dish washer. The cabinets are falling away from the wall; yet, somehow, the workorder was cancelled to fix them. The contractor was also found plucking wires causing electrical issues. Tricon has reportedly cancelled the work order to repair the issues and other issues resulting from shotty repairs, etc. When you ask for a safe contractor who has been here a multitude of times, Tricon will get offended and stop responding. Tricon will also violate the terms of the lease by forcing you to pay utilities that are already outlined within your lease as landlord responsibilities (with no reduction in rent and fine you if you don't switch them to your name). Tricon will offer a low-ball credit for loss and inconvenience--lie about how things occurred, deny prior maintenance records--then, not apply it to your account while sending you a notice to quit to start the eviction process. Total bullies--please avoid this as the trauma and stress with all of these issues is overwhelming. Also, the repairs need to take place during the day. Given the incessant repairs; redo, and lack of skill from a contractor who can perform the duty in the normal amount of time, you will miss in-office work opportunity.
