This is probably the best Golden Corral I've ever gone to! And I've been to quite a few. The food was fresh and warm and tasty. The service was outstanding! My waitress, I wish I got her name, was always right there if I needed something. She was very pleasant to talk to, hell everybody in there was! Great vibe! I'll be going here anytime I'm in the area! And the price was more than reasonable. They have closed down most of the Golden Corrals in my area so to see one open in Eustis we had to stop and eat. Food was good. Loved the fact they kept bringing out FRESH fried chicken. Our attendant Ms Ruth was absolutely adorable. She made sure we had drinks at all times and the conversation was refreshing. I would definitely visit this restaurant again. read more

It is your typical 'all you can eat' with so many choices. This is perfect for all picky eaters with so many items, it would be difficult not to enjoy for everyone. They have an area where the grill cook will give you a steak cooked the way you prefer. This counter area was busy with a line of 6-8 people. The employee cooking the streaks had a nonchalant manner. He didn't seem concerned the steak line was getting longer and longer due to his negative demeanor. It took 10 minutes, but I did get a delicious piece of sirloin. My family thought I left the restaurant, The food is rotated frequently and replenished often. The fried chicken, meatloaf, tacos, mashed potatoes, green beans, okra, salad bar and the many dessert options, all were very good. My family enjoys the variety and we especially love the service. Some reviewers here think this buffet is overpriced for the quality of food they have. I don't agree with that assessment. I haven't found any buffet places in this area that have the variety Golden Corral has, and I am hardly going to compare it to a regular restaurant. Most recently we went to Sunday breakfast with a small group. We chatted for a while (to simulate waiting for our food in a normal restaurant) and had our coffee and juice - which is included in the price so that lowers the cost a bit. Then we all went to select our food choices, which gave a lot more options than choosing a menu meal. They will cook eggs for you if you don't want the scrambled they keep on hand, but I usually just go for the scrambled and add sauteed mushrooms, onions and green peppers, and sometimes gravy. I see most people don't tip, which saves more money, but if the server has kept the table clear of empty plates and has brought drinks, I still tip. They have a salad bar and, if dessert is your thing, you will be spoiled for choice. Oh, and if there is nobody at the cash register as you walk in, wait a moment, you pay before you are seated. read more

Not taking Covid precautions. Yes it is posted but not enforced at all. First time going out to eat in a year and we RAN outta there. When we first arrived, everything was exceptional but it turned rather quickly. Only take a few bad apples. Several people were not wearing masks while getting food. This place is neat and clean and always has fresh food. It's my go to when I want to some endless fried fish and shrimp goodness. As much as I love going, there is a horribly annoying ice machine on the salad bar side of the dining room that has a high pitched winding tinny sound that drives me to the other side of the building. Haven't been here in a while, so I thought I would check it out again. The lure of prime rib was key. I can't complain about the piece of meat I got. It was very tasty. I can't say the same for the "Boom Boom Shrimp." It tasted too much like dessert. In fact, I skipped dessert after eating the shrimp. Cornbread was not as good as I remember. My selection was limited, but at least Mom got some catfish, which she loves. Service is as good as I remember. read more

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. My family chose to meet here for thanksgiving, and arrived little before closing and we were by far were not the last to enter. There was no carved turkey, stuffing, sweet potato, ham, and the green been casserole was more like green bean soup. When we tried to get a steak we were told no they turned off the grill cause it's ALMOST time to close. We were rushed through the entire meal and was not able to enjoy family time. We paid exactly the same as someone who arrived when they opened and should have received the same service and options. When our displeasure with the extreme limited options nothing but rudeness and condescending comments were made from Management. I couldn't even get dessert and when I asked if there were any options I was denied service and told I should have come sooner. I used a few choice words in response to the total lack of respect, understanding, and empathy that came from management. I was followed through the restaurant and then was told to leave. I was falsely accused of actions I absolutely did not do and I had to sit in the car on thanksgiving while my family tried to finish their meals. When a member of my family got up to use the restroom their plate was thrown away. They pulled all the food off the bar so they were unable replace the food.It is important to note this was their first plate not second helpings. No compensation was offered. When they asked for a refund since their only plate of food was thrown away, their request was denied because only 1 person has the ability to process a refund and of course that personas not there. They were also given the same disrespectful, condescending comments I was. As if this all wasn't bad enough we were told by witnesses the manager was talking about us and the situation to other servers in the restaurant in front of other Customers. This is behavior unbecoming of a member of management. I will never be back and would not recommend giving these horrible people one dime of your hard earned money. Our community deserves better service than these people can provide. read more

Food is good for a buffet but while I was eating, an ear-piercing alarm went off that everyone else, both guests & employees seemed to ignore. After about 5 minutes I had to ASK someone to turn it off. I guess the other customers are regulars & are used to it. Then again, I guess nobody comes here for the ambiance. read more

Disappointed in Eustice Golden Corral, it has gone down hill in the past 3 years I have been visiting the area. Food was cold, poor selection, lot of staff not interested. Worst overpriced meal I've had. Sunday buffet, fell way short of expectations. Was looking forward to new advertised items, not even close. Terrible food, sitting in steam tables too long. Not fresh at all. At the Sirloin cutting station greeted by a chef with an attitude who asked how I wanted it, I said medium. He proceeded to cut a piece of already cooked meat in half and slammed in on flat iron grill and put a press on it. I was in the neighborhood, and stopped to check out the local cuisine. ( how often do you get to say that ? )I was very pleased with the variety, and quality of their selection, no joke. I've never really understood how these places can offer so much, and charge so little by comparison. You will crack yourself up, just sitting there trying to imagine what all of this food would cost you separately, and it really makes you appreciate the value you're getting. I started working in golden corral in December everything was going great until my daughter gotten sick and put in the hospital for 2 days I had to call off when I return on Sunday everyone was kind of quite I was off on Monday and when I came back on Tuesday a new girl took my place and was working on what I was doing she ended up getting my hours and my hours got cut just because my daughter was in the hospital !" I noticed that if you don't kiss ass your hours well be cut or you well be fired! I have seen a lot of people get fired for nothing at all just because the people in the kitchen dosnt like you and have story's to tell behind your back when your off !" My husband and I had breakfast here one Sunday and enjoyed it. Decided to take the family who were visiting for dinner. A big mistake. The steak/shrimp that was advertised had to be the worst I have ever had or seen. It was so tough that the three of us who chose it, left it all on the plates. The shrimp were cold and overcooked. My grandson then tried ribs; another disaster, he couldn't even cut a portion away, let alone chew it. The pizza, which was his next choice, was dried up and reheated many times. Sorry, but that is the last time I will visit this restaurant. Completely overpriced for food that was not fit to eat.
