We visited with a large group and had reserved a room. When we arrived, the room was ready. Service was great. We had something checking on us throughout our meal to see if we needed more plates or drinks. Restaurant was clean and busy. They had a large selection of food with gloves available at each section. The chicken is almost never there, the pizza was cold and sweet, and the salad tasted like salted lemon. How do you make food that bad. And you're employees there mean and racist. It's hit or miss with the steak. It might be bloody or it might be well done. Hush puppies are hard as a baseball. Parking is terrible here. Although it's located in a shopping plaza there was absolutely no parking space. I had to park next door to the Taco Bell. For the price I'm not entirely sure what I expected but I was hoping to enjoy more than one plate. The fried chicken was covered in feathers, pizza cold and stiff and ribs rubbery. We arrived a couple of hours before closing so a lot of the offerings were not fresh. The items that I selected were okay. They had opened condiment bottles left on a couple of tables and the lids were soaking in a glass of water on another table. Not very appetizing to say the least. When you order from Uber eats either the store or the driver eats your food, neither Golden corral or Uber eats take responsibility and you are out of money. And I am missing three pieces of chicken which the store and Uber eats will not acknowledge, nor will they give me my refund or send me the food back out. As always, Golden Corral in Stockbridge always has the best buffet. I'm from Texas and had yet to experience food at a buffet where no salt is needed. My wife and I frequently come here and have not been disappointed. I came for Veterans Day and again for Thanksgiving and will probably make this a tradition from now on, with my wife. We decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at this location. Little did we know that everyone and their mama had the same idea! The long line extended well outside the door, but the line moved along quickly. Now, we invited a friend, who fell upon some hard times, to come along with us. Upon entering the restaurant, my husband directed my attention to the 79 C health score that was displayed on the wall. If our friend had not been with us, we would have turned our happy butts around, and left. We don't eat at restaurants with a health score below 90 A. We prayed that the low score was due to some structural issue, and not due to the safety of the food. We took a chance and stayed. Honestly, the crowd and the low health score were the only issues I had with this restaurant. The food was good. I had my usual Thanksgiving meal of turkey and dressing with all of the fixings. All of the staff, from the cashiers, to the hostess, to our waitress, to the food preparers were all very friendly, and worked their tails off to make sure that everyone had an enjoyable experience. Oh, and guess what? None of got sick from the food of a restaurant that scored a 79! I still will not make a habit out of dining at a restaurant with a score that low! read more

The price point cant be beat when you compare the value of the omelets plus the traditional sides such as bacon, pancakes if you want, and a whole lot more. I don't usually review restaurants based on one visit, but we are just passing through the area, so I will just make a few comments 'in passing.' The quality of the food seemed up to the standards of our branch back home (is the chili this good back there? I will have to check.) And the dinner ladies who picked up dishes were very friendly, especially considering how busy they were. And crowded. I have been to busy Golden Corrals before, but here the tables were pushed so close together I had to move my chair to let the lady at the next table in and out. We weren't there on a Sunday night for the steak and shrimp offerings, because our hotel was across the street, so the meal cost was a bit of a shock. But rather than moan and complain about it, we helped ourselves to some prime rib instead! I didn't bother with dessert because I didn't see any no sugar added pie, or sugar free anything for that matter. Maybe that isn't popular hereabouts. A couple of minor quick tips: there were packets of silverware just inside the door and I ended up going back for them as I didn't see any silverware near the food. Also, they are set up for you to pour your own drink before you pay, but if you want ice water, just wait. Went to have breakfast with my wife. We arrived around 1015am. Stood in line for 15mins. I sat down to let my wife get her plate 1st. She came back with breakfast food. As I went to get my breakfast, the food was changed to lunch/dinner. The price for breakfast and lunch differs by $4. So I asked for a refund. The cashier was ok but the lady manager was rude and grew frustrated because she couldn't process the refund. After multiple attempts, she finally figured it out. Tried this location this morning at 10:00 a.m. We were greeted with a price of $25.00! We were told that it was brunch that's why it was so expensive. This is definitely higher than the Mcdonough location. The restaurant had an unusual odor that smelled like mildew; very annoying. The food wasn't as appetizing as the McDonough location. Great experience. Very large variety of food items. The restaurant was clean and very busy. The workers were friendly and quick to assist. Our food selections were well seasoned and served hot. Food items were being replenished constantly. There were food items for any and all dietary restrictions. The prices were great for what was offered. If I could give a 0 I would we went here on Christmas Day my husband and I because we have no family here I have a service dog and I have never been treated so poorly in my life I can't help having health problems that require me to have a service dog they treated me like I had the plague the waitress was so awful to ask that I thought I was dreaming however then the manager came over and was just as ugly as she was she said I cannot stop you from having your service animal in here however I do not like her being in here by law I have to allow you to have her but by choice I want you to leave I couldn't believe how we were being treated just because I have a service dog this was by far the worst experience I have ever had they were allowing small children at the buffet unattended but me who has awful health was being so badly treated for having to have a service dog I can assure you this much I will NEVER go back read more

In for early dinner after church with the parents on Sunday and they were busy as usual. The buffet was well supplied and clean. It would be nice if more fresh fruit was available such as honey dew, kiwi, cantaloupe and fresh pineapple as oppose to the can pineapple. Do not eat here ever!!! We called in advance to see it breakfast was being served until 11am. We arrived at 1030 and all they had was an empty 1/2 pan of grits. 1/3 third pan of eggs. No bacon, no sausage, French toast with raw eggs half cooked. No pancakes, the omelette line was a mile long with one cook. The omelette cook was slow as molasses. He could We talked with the manager, she made excuse after excuse. This is my last time eating at this horrid place. We really just wanted a fresh omelette. 3 managers 2 walking around and 1 cooking steaks. Don't waste time eating at this location. This company has really hit rock bottom. We went to Golden Corral in Stockbridge for the 1t time in more than a year due to covid. We went at 4:30pm on 3/22/21. I used to frequent Golden Corral foe breakfast & lunch through out the years and always had good experiences. I used to often suggest Golden Corral at work when a group of us were trying to decide where to go. We went for Dinner this time and I noticed people were getting steaks. They brought our plates and gloves so I thought I would try the steak. The cook asked "what kind of steak do you want?" I replied with "what kind do you have?" I thought he was asking about the cut of steak but I found out I was wrong. As I was looking at the steaks he angrily snapped we have every kind, we have rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, well. I said "oh; medium rare. He was raising his voice and yelled, "how do I know what kind of steak you want; you might like rare, medium rare, medium,... how am I supposed to know what you want?" I was getting frustrated and snapped back "medium rare". He then said "that's what I need to know". They were out of several items and some things just wasn't as good as they used to be (chocolate pie for example. Getting yelled at by the grill cook ruined our dinner and overall was a waste of our money. With all the 5 stars we chose to eat here so everyone could get what they want plus it's all you can eat. Upon walking in, this is a fairly new location. Everything is spot clean. They have their health inspection and they ranked a 100!! Wow. Now, I bet your wondering why I gave them a 3 star. When I walked up to get a steak, I told the gentleman medium well...he flipped through the undercooked steaks not seeing anything done or even close to done the cook asked the lady behind me, she also said medium well ...the cook then looked over his shoulder and grabbed the metal press and started pressing down as hard as he could on those steaks to get the grill to cook them faster. The lady behind me and myself said NO..your squeezing all the juices out of it...I then told him I would wait for it then walked away going with the ham that I know they can't mess up. The mashed potatoes tasted like metal. Pushed those to the side and grabbed a baked potato...couldn't find real butter only margarine. Spoke to the manager about the steak, told him I wanted nothing out of this but I think he needs to know about the steak cook. My family and I ate here today for Father's Day and once we arrived, we sighed very hard at the VERY LONG LINE! But to our surprise the line moved along very fast and we were seated and started to eat within 20 minutes (that's fast considering how busy it was). The customer service was great and all the employees handled the busy day like pros. They knew what they were doing today! For the food however, I mean it was good, but I wouldn't eat it multiple times. All of the desserts are very gross and even made my 2 year old give dirty faces when she tried eating some of the desserts. $15 per person is a little pricey if you don't eat multiple plates of food, which we did not do. read more
