The presentation is nice. I ordered 2 scoops of chicken salad with the pasta salad as my side. Everything was tasty but I would put more Italian dressing on the pasta salad to make it better. I love this place!!! I like the Dixie Chick and the Jalepeno Holly with the broccoli salad in a separate container to go. Usually the 2scoops fill me up, so I take my salad to go. The manager on duty is rude to employees who don't follow her rules. I'm sitting in a booth eating and suddenly the manager and employee sits in a booth across from me to discuss poor job performance. I'm overhearing the manager tell the employee about her unsatisfactory job performance and threatened to move her to another position. Employee discipline should take place in a private setting, not in public where the employee feels ridiculed in front of customers. This is my second time observing this manager demean employees where all are minorities. Is this the image and message Ms. Chicken salad chick wants to convey to customers. Today was my first visit. I went to the drive thru. Ordering was simple and the customer service was nice. I got the chicken salad BLT with the cranberry chicken salad with almonds on a croissant. This was only my 2nd visit to a Chicken Salad Chick, so I'm still trying to warm up to the idea of entertaining chicken salad as a food option. When it isn't a chicken breast on a bun, I don't really get excited about food but I digress. Their restautant offers a trio plate ($12 - I ordered a drink) which includes a chicken salad scoop or sandwich, a side and a cup of soup. I ordered their Olivia's Old South (sandwich) with a grape salad and a cup of their chicken and artichoke florentine soup. Verdict? The sandwich was bland. Plenty of salt and pepper was necessary to address the lack of flavor that the salad hides. The grape salad's sweetness was a bit overwhelming but the tiny pecans added the necessary crunch you're looking for in the cup. The soup was surprisingly spicy, which I totally wasn't expecting from a florentine and was pretty good but wasn't a future go-to. I'd try another soup instead. Overall, it was better than my first go and I'd return. Their grab & go cooler makes it super convenient for those in a rush! I went into Chicken Salad Chick today and found the restaurant to be clean and friendly staff. I asked about sampling the food before buying and the cashier allowed me to choose as many as I wanted to try (I chose three). Side note: Don't be trifling and fill up on samples and don't buy anything!! I tried the Classic Carol, Fruity Nancy and Fruity Fran. I like all three. I purchased two the Fruity Fran and the Classic Carol. It came with wheat crackers and a pickle slice (yuck). They forgot my cookie which comes free but thats ok because I take that as a sign that I didn't need it anyway. The salads were good and exactly what I expected; chicken salad. I added a little pepper to my Classic Carol but it was good either way. I will be going back because it different and healthier than all the other fast food spots around here. Our first visit was great but our second was a huge disappointment. Presentation was sloppy, with crackers under the lettuce. (See Photos) We ordered three different salads, The Chick order, but only two salad scoops were different. I asked to buy cookies and was told they came with the meal. The bread was good, salad again was disappointing. Very bland and lack luster. The service was good and although crowded the lines moved quickly.
