I was a bit skeptical with recent mixed yelp reviews but I wanted to give it a shot since I did not want to drive to Cerritos/Artesia and fight for parking. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Out of the 12 years I've been threading my eyebrows, I think this was one of the least painful of all. I'm pretty sure it's because of the person who did it. I think her name is Ashahi (sorry, if I butchered her name). I also liked that the place is spacious and clean looking. Overall, since I live in Long Beach, I think the location, parking, ambience, and staff at Golden Eyebrow is great. I will come again and have recommended it to my family. Ok so I was really nervous about coming here b/c it's new and there aren't many reviews but OMG! This is definitely my new eyebrow place! The location isn't busy, it's spacious and clean! The woman who did my brows really took her time and was gentle! I also got my upper lip threaded which I expected to hurt based on my past experiences but this was so much more gentle! It took me a long time to find amazing people to do my eyebrows. I drive 20 miles every two weeks just so they can do my eyebrows there are amazing in every way they do facials the whole face eyebrows eyelashes the whole nine yards. I found my new brow place! They've only been here for a couple of months and I just stopped in after shopping at Trader Joes. The woman who did my brows asked me what I wanted, something I've never experienced with threading. She fulfilled my request and kept my brows full. I love how they look. Hello! I started going to Golden eyebrow threading because it was convenient for me since I work at Trader Joe's which is a couple feet away. At first glance it's very clean and welcoming. The ladies that work there are very friendly. I really liked how they did my eyebrows and upper lip so I continue to go there. Nima usually does my eyebrows and I love how she does it. She takes her time and at the end you get a nice massage.all the ladies are very nice and professional. You come out of there very relaxed. I went this place last year ,when the store is new .that time a young lady, her name is Annie work there but long time I didn't see her.i miss her a lot ,she did excellent job .I was trying other lady but they are totally mass my eyebrows. Would give zero stars if I could. I got my eyebrows tinted and my lip waxed and it was a complete waste of money. The tint didn't even last 24 hours and I specifically asked how long it would last and I was told a week! Plus they took some of my skin off with the wax. When I asked for a refund they Refuse to give me my money . I will never come here again read more

I was really hesitant to give Golden Eyebrow Threading a try based on the reviewer who said her eyebrows ended up too thin. However, I work in the plaza and was feeling too lazy to drive to my regular waxing spot (but knew my eyebrows needed TLC). I stopped in and I'm so glad I did! She kept my eyebrows full and thick. They say your eyebrows aren't twins, they're sisters. I sometimes wonder if mine are even related. She didn't comment on my two very different eyebrows. I'm confused why this place has good ratings. Chick with the nose piercing did my eyebrows today. No manners and butchered my brows. They are super thin and I have a ton of cuts around them. I rarely write reviews, but I often read them and though this business had mixed reviews, I decided to try it since the location is very convenient for me. Plus, I find that some people are overly critical in their reviews. Since there are not that many reviews here, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and Annie was the only person working. Perhaps it was because I interrupted her phone call, but I thought her to be quite rude - almost demanding! She made me get into the already very reclining chair and impatiently kept telling me to move back - "all the way back", kept roughly moving my hand to the exact location she wanted, almost yelled at me to close both of my eyes and then didn't bother to hand me a mirror when she was 'done'. I asked for one anyway, to which she acted like I was inconveniencing her, and I immediately saw some obvious hairs. By this time I was so ticked at this lack of customer service that I told her to forget it and went to pay. I think she got the message because she said sorry - too little, too late. This might be a decent place, but stay clear of Annie! read more

I have been going to the same eyebrow lady for five years but I moved to Long Beach and I was looking for a new a new eyebrow place that was good/trustful!!! All I have to say is this place is the best!! Way better than my lady who did it for five years (and she was good) but the owner Sophie and NiNi are AMAZING!! They take their time and really make sure you are satisfied!! They have GREAT PRICES AND ITS VERY AFFORDABLE!!! I will ONLY come here to get my eyebrows done because they are that great! I have got my brows threaded, semi permanent eye lashes and Henna eye liner done here. They did a great job and charged very reasonably. The establishment is clean and they have air conditioning. The staff was very friendly and more importantly listened to how I wanted the work done. Will definitely come back. read more

Ok, so I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been there a total of 3 times with 3 different ladies doing my eyebrows. 1st time, I got an older lady who was pretty friendly and did a great job. I loved how my eyebrows looked. 2nd time, I got a younger girl. Although my eyebrows looked nice after, she was on the phone half of the time, completely rude. The 3rd time was by far the worse. I got a different younger girl with long hair and glasses. This was the first time ever that it took longer and it was painful! I thought it was just me, but when I got into my car, I started to bleed bit. Not only that, but it started swelling up in certain areas. She also thinned them out more than I wanted. So basically, I would go back there again, only if the older lady is there. It is the closest place to my house and I was completely satisfied the first time. read more
