First time trying Golden Flame Wings while visiting Parker, CO. My family are locals and insisted this was a must-visit dinner spot--and now I understand why. The customer service was exceptional from the moment we walked through the door until the time we left. The staff was engaging, friendly, and genuinely excited to help us find flavors we'd enjoy. I especially appreciated being encouraged to sample sauces before committing to an order. I had never tried a wet Garlic Parmesan sauce before, and it was incredible. The wings remained perfectly crispy even after being tossed in the sauce, which is not always easy to achieve. The Volcanic Fries were another standout. The Volcanic sauce reminded me of Wingstop's Atomic sauce, but with a much better balance of heat and flavor. It delivered plenty of spice without sacrificing taste. Be sure to try the house-made Golden Ketchup. It has a subtle kick of heat while still getting ketchup notes. It's the perfect balance of spice and taste and pairs well with just about everything on the menu. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, with plenty of table seating, bar seating, and multiple TVs throughout the restaurant showing a variety of live sports. I cannot emphasize enough how outstanding the customer service was. Great food is easy to find, but a staff that genuinely enhances the entire dining experience is much harder to come by. My biggest complaint is I'd like them to be seasoned more, the seasoning was tasty but they didn't seem properly coated. Fries were really tasty, you can tell they make them fresh! The ordering process takes place right when you walk in at the counter. They have a menus and list of all their wing options as well as details to their level of spice. We come here regularly and the wings and sauces are very good. My only issue is that 75% of the time something is missing from our order or the order is incorrect. Last time asked and paid for flats only and got drums only. This time missing veggies and honey mustard sauce for chicken strips. The boneless wings are hit and miss. This time overcooked or fried. I really try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. We've visited Golden Flame several times specifically because they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer and gluten-free sauces--something that's hard to find. But after being disappointed more than three times, it's clear a review is overdue. Each visit has had a different issue, which is why we kept giving them another chance. But last night was the final straw. My husband and I eat out more than we cook, and Golden Flame had been a convenient option. One night, we arrived at 8:08 p.m., well before their 9 p.m. weekday closing time. I told the employee I'm Celiac and require gluten-free. She warned me it would take longer because they had already shut down the gluten-free fryer. I said that was fine--we'd wait. The restaurant was still busy, with sports on the TVs, and people who arrived at 8:30 got their food before us. When I finally asked for an update, she said the fryer had to be started back up. Our food didn't arrive until 8:50, and by then the staff was actively closing down the restaurant--cleaning, sweeping, spraying tables--right next to us while we tried to eat. The smell of chemicals and dust was so overwhelming we left half our food behind. Next time, to avoid being "inconvenient," we ordered takeout. The fries were ice-cold and the wings were oddly chewy--even though we live less than five minutes away. Then about a month ago, we showed up at 8:20, only to be told again that the gluten-free fryer was "off for the night." The dining room was still active, with multiple families eating, so it wasn't a slow night--they simply didn't want to turn it back on. We gave them yet another chance last night. I walked in at 7:56 p.m., more than an hour before closing, and the first thing I did was ask if gluten-free was available. The employee checked and said, "Yeah, it's off. It'll be at least 20 minutes before we can cook anything." At that point, I didn't even bother ordering. At this point, it's obvious Golden Flame doesn't want the business--at least not from anyone who needs gluten-free accommodations, despite advertising them. There's another wing place in town with a designated fryer, better sauce options, way better fries, and staff who aren't more excited to go home than serve customers. I'll gladly drive the extra 10 minutes for food--and service--that's worth it. read more

You get to pick 2 sauces or can add an additional sauce for $.50 more. The fries also come with their own seasoning or plain if you life. You get the ranch and carrots/celery on the side :) You get to order first, then pick a place to sit and enjoy your meal. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went in last night 12 minutes before they closed! Before I even went in I did try to place the order online but it wouldn't let me. I go in to place the order. The dinner for 2 meal with an order of cheese curds. I ask the cashier if they have swipe to pay because my card wasn't an actual bank card it was a prepaid card. Mind you there was money on the card. The cashier tells me the swipe isn't working and asks me if it would be okay if she typed in the card information.. I didn't mind. She types in the card information and proceeds to tell me the card isn't going through so she tipped it in again and still says declined. I swear she did it on purpose because she walked to the back and talked to someone and I guarantee they told her to act like the card declined. WORST experience ever. Ended up going home hungry. One of our favorite places in Parker, Colorado to grab wings. Our boys can't get it enough. As you walk in, you are immediately greeted by the front counter to order your food. It does get a little congested in that area since it's right in front of the door. The ordering process doesn't take long as long as you know what you want. We always order our wings naked and sauce on the side. We love enjoying their crispiness and trying all their sauces. Their French fries are THE best. Definitely a must order if you go there. They were really busy when we walked in to order but before she even took our order she let us know how long it should take and made sure we were fine waiting. Updated rating!!! Our family has been eating here around once a month for the last 5+/- years. It's been our go-to wings place. Lately the service and quality has gone downhill. Prices increased and we are now paying over $60 for wings alone. The french fries continue to be horrible, most of the time we have groupings of 10 fries stuck together in a big glob. Never crunchy, ALWAYS SOGGY! I don't know who likes fries this way. We rarely get our order correct. Golden Flame was already the best place for wings in Parker, and after its recent, awesome expansion, it's by far the best place for wings in town. The best part about Golden Flame is that the wings are really big. I don't know where these chickens come from, but the size of these wings puts Wing Stop to shame. They have just enough crunch for texture, and they have a ton of different flavors to keep it interesting. Best of all, they have flavors other than "really effing hot," so that even if you have a less adventurous person in your party, they'll still be happy. And the fries are good too! They have a bunch of TVs inside, but they don't blast the game (I wonder if they would if you asked though). They also have beer on tap and a bunch of fun sports memorabilia on the wall. We need more places like this in Parker, and I'm so happy that Golden Flame has found enough success to grow within our community! read more
