Everything about my experience here was absolutely terrible. I came in during my lunch to order, and my food took forever. The sandwiches are overpriced and they don't even come with fries. The fact that you not only pay for the expensive sandwich, the overpriced side of fries, you pay for each topping past 3 free toppings (and the classic Philly doesn't come with bell peppers which is what makes a Philly) is completely absurd. My garlic parm fries that I paid $7 for were completely bland. They just put herbs and Parmesan on the fries but no salt. I was a bit unhappy they didn't have a wrap option. The only no bread options were to put it on a bed of lettuce or just toss it in a container, just meat and veggies. The meat was super bland and it didn't have any cheese on it. Where has this place been? I've ordered from another place for years, but they have gone down hill. Found this on Yelp and thought to try it. The bread is amazing! The sandwiches are super stuffed with a lot of great ingredients. You can also customize yours so that you can add a ton of things that you don't always see in a Philly. We ordered off of grubhub, so I can't speak to Ambiance, but the order was correct and it was HOT when we got our food. Their potato salad is really good. Came here for the first time and ordered a chicken philly cheesesteak added sweet peppers, onion, got a side of fries and a side of ranch for $16. I was not impressed. It was slop on a bun. The fries tasted stale. I took two bites and asked to return the food for a refund. The manager and the guy at the cash register told me that they could not get a refund for my food. I was willing to give the entire meal back. Still was told I could not get a refund and also that "you can't do that at any restaurant" I told the guy, yes you can, not sure what planet he's living on. So, basically $16 down the drain.
