The new tile in the bathroom is exceptionally well done and now I won't even have grout in the future! The shower and tile for the floor was also done and looks exceptional. Jose is incredibly responsive and helpful at every step of the way explaining to us what his crew was going to do next, and checking in with us. 5/5 stars will absolutely be working with Cruz Construction & Renovation again to remodel my entire downstairs den!

We added a little from the original job, like putting in the french doors. Jose is highly skilled and knowledgeable, helping us make decisions when we were having trouble. Attention to detail is a key component to what he does. Jose is a man of his word and easy to communicate with. If he says he will do it, it will get done. His crew is kind and respectful and I would like to thank them also. We are grateful to have met Jose. He was recommended by a neighbor. He took very good care of us. We will call him again most definitely. I have added some before and after photos, I hope it does some justice because it's a job well done and we are very pleased. Thank you Jose!

Despite my initial enthusiasm for the service, I encountered several issues that diminished my…read moresatisfaction. Like many other Handy-person companies have begun doing in the last five years or so, they impose a minimum time limit to ensure a minimum service fee. I required several basic repairs around my residence, which necessitated the use of a ladder, screws, and a screw anchor. One repair was time-sensitive, and the company initially offered immediate repairs but suggested returning a few weeks later due to them being booked up. This approach was reasonable and appreciated. However, after further communication with the company, I discovered for the time sensitive repair, they required a $250 deposit prior to any work starting, and would charge their minimum two-hour fee of $300. The job involved simply reattaching one side of an outdoor sun shade, resulting in an estimated total of $820.85 for all of the repairs. As a homeowner I've had several estimates and repairs completed by Handy-person services over the last few decades, but this one has to be the most unreasonable. In contrast, I contacted another Handy-person service company today that arrived at my residence within 30 minutes of my initial contact. They provided an on-site estimate and completed all the necessary repairs in a single hour. The total cost was $110.50, which included tax. This experience met my expectations. The service was reasonably priced, and the handyman was professional and skilled. I now have established a go-to handyman who I can build a lengthy business relationship, year after year. It is unacceptable to ask customers to pay for labor before the work is completed. Materials may be charged, but labor should not be. So glad I found this new Handyman service company. I will definitely be leaving a positive review for them.

I reached out to North Seattle Handyman and they had me scheduled in a week with a solid crew. Getting the bids and estimates sent over were really easy and they were awesome in finding a way to stay in my budget. When the day of came I got a phone call explaining some concerns that they had about the job and they offered multiple solutions. They were a little bit more expensive than some of the other companies I reached out to, but they differentiated themselves with their professionalism, prompt communication, and incredible quality of service. I'll definitely be hiring them again.

The team at HRS was absolutely AMAZING to work with. From the start of the consultation to the final walkthrough the team was extremely professional, transparent, and worked to make our kitchen remodel work for our timeline and budget. They made every step of the process easy. We worked with them on the design and material selections, the actual architectural updates, and the actual demo and construction. For our project we worked with Dave as the GM, with Jacob as the project lead, and both were excellent to work with. Our young boys got to know Dave so well there were some serious emotions the day after the project finished when they realized they wouldn't see him anymore. In terms of the project itself, Home Run clearly outlined at the start the project cost and timeline and stuck to both down to the day and penny! They used an online system that was really easy for us as homeowners know what work was being done each day and who would be working in the house. On top of that, they installed a temporary kitchen in our basement for our family to use while the remodel was taking place on the main floor...FOR NO EXTRA COST!! It saved us so much time, money and headache trying to figure out how to stay in the house while the work was being done. When it came to the quality of the construction, Dave was meticulous about completing each task correctly rather than rushing to get it done. We had one moment where he sampled 4-6 different stain combinations on some trim to match a transition between rooms to get the colors just right. We LOVE this company and the group who worked with us on our kitchen. We will definitely call them again for our next project(s) and have recommended them to family and friends multiple times already and will continue to do so to anyone who asks.
