Love this place already! I just got my second tattoo done by Jhonny (Ghost) and it was just as perfect as the first and EXACTLY what I wanted! Single needle, fine line numbers that are perfectly weighted and give that minimalist look I was going for. Also to note, my last tattoo from Jhonny is about a year old and healed PERFECTLY. The fine lines are so sharp and very visible after healing. Booking was a breeze, Mark was super responsive especially when I needed to change the time of my appointment. Very welcoming and friendly when I arrived which is always a plus. Jhonny was lovey as always and made the whole appointment comfortable and easy, he is also super easy to talk to especially for people like me, a grade A introvert. This is my second tattoo from Jhonny and I'll definitely be back for more. I could not recommend this place more, even the studio itself was a huge space and very open which is huge right now when everyone is distancing, it felt extremely safe. I've been eyeing @ghost.glare.tattoo for a while before finally being able to come in the other day. The shop is so nicely decorated, clean, spacious and has an insane waterfront view. Everyone was super friendly, professional and I felt so welcomed and safe right on the spot. No need for Covid concerns like I've seen in other shops. I've had multiple tattoos done by Ying over the last few years and cannot recommend her or the new Sacred Heart Tattoo location enough. She does excellent work and is so easy to work with, I of course followed her to this new shop. Most recently I wanted a custom piece that was a tribute to my late father. I didn't have an exact tattoo design to bring in but just a long list of ideas of what I wanted to make sure the design had. I'd never done a complete custom tattoo before and she was just a rockstar in understanding what I wanted, advising me on what we should include in the tattoo, and then of course her stellar artistry. Overall the new shop is clean and has a great vibe. All the artists are friendly and you feel welcome. Prices aren't cheap, but you should never go for the lowest price when it comes to ink, and the rates are reasonable considering the quality. Highly recommend any artist there, Ying especially, and the shop. read more

Ying did some smaller pieces, and she's phenomenal with her florals and abstract pieces. Follow her instagram for inspiration, I'm constantly making mental note of what I want next. Allie is the best. I mean that. I've seen a lot of artists before I found Allie. She was an apprentice when I got my first tattoo from her, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best tattoo I have. She's a great artist to sit for... super nice and personable and makes you feel comfortable through the whole process. I've gotten flash trad tattoos from her, which have been perfection. I also asked her to design a tattoo for me, which was equally perfect. I have three perfect tattoos from Allie and I can't wait to get my fourth and fifth and sixth. Her traditional tattoos are as good as it gets. And so is everything else she does. If you're in NYC and want a tattoo, go to Allie. You won't regret it. I have been a client of Ying's for a while, and she has done both big and small pieces on me. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, and she really takes the time to draw out your design by asking for details such as size, placement, and even budget. She will absolutely make sure you love the design and has gone as far as making different sized stencils for me when I got my last piece done by her (I'm very indecisive so I really appreciated her taking the time to do that!). I found Ying on Instagram and was instantly drawn to her work. She is great with very thin line work and that's what I wanted. She was very quick to email me about any changes that took place. Sacred Heart Tattoo is very easy to find and filled with great people. The space feels warm and welcoming and the team supports each other.
