    #7 - The Sag Harbor - #7 Whole
    Anjali B.

I have been to golden pear numerous times but always opting for iced coffee or a tea. They are consistently good (big fan of the cold brew). This time we decided to try a sandwich. Opted for the sag harbor (chicken salad on ciabatta and cold slaw). It was good but nothing too remarkable. I have heard that the wraps are good though so will be trying something along the lines of that eventually. Also to note on the pricier side for what they are serving but nothing surprising out east.

10/10 for the egg sandwiches. So delicious and filling. We split them between 4 people because they were so big. The bacon was crispy just how we like it. I would prefer a sausage patty over chorizo but it was very good. Employees were nice and you can't beat sitting outside people watching. Definitely will be back!

    #8 - Spa Breakfast Burrito

Tasty, fresh breakfast but a bit overpriced even for the hamptons. $25 for french toast with fruit in a take out atmosphere seemed a bit much. Instead I opted for the $18 spa breakfast burrito with egg whites and steamed veggies. Was fresh, though the burrito fell apart because there was about a half cup of water that came from the streamed veggies.

Meh. Honestly I didn't understand what all the hubbub is about. This was a place I wanted to check out as it came highly recommended. The menu is ridiculously expensive. $17 for a breakfast sandwich and over $20 for oatmeal? I guess it is East Hampton. The coffees smelled good though I didn't have any. Sitting outside was difficult because we kept getting accosted by bees. Would not return.

Go if you want plastic or paper in your food. I had 2 negative back-to-back experiences here. When I reached out for a refund, the manager Keith was extremely rude (see screenshot) then blocked me. Never received the refund initially promised. Never going again. Update: this is the first negative Yelp review I've ever written, I'm not a Yelp whiner, and Keith's response further proves his lack of professionalism.

Even though it is costly, I love Golden Pear. Their oatmeal is amazing and they have the nicest people working there, too.

$6.00 for a muffin that tasted like cardboard isn't for me. Won't go back. The staff was very friendly. The place is very small and dingy.

$6 for a small iced coffee?! Yikes! And that's without the surcharge for using a credit card

The variety of foods is incredible and they carry lots of delicious baked goods, and other prepared foods. FYI, bathrooms are upstairs. It took me a few minutes to find the bathroom until I asked and had to go up the stairs. The bathroom is not very clean but it is what it is. Not what you would expect from the area (Easy Hampton). The service is ok they are working very hard so they treat you like they don't have time for your questions..I was a brand new customer and even asking where the restroom was made me feel a bit unwelcome maybe they only cater to the "regulars"!

Well it was $6.00,, SIX DOLLARS!! for one thigh! seriously!!! I purchased it but was not pleased. It was very good as usual but not worth six dollars. It's not that I can't afford it, but at these prices I won't be back soon. And I'm telling everyone I know about this. They should be ashamed! They'll go out of business at this rate, especially in the winter when there's not enough people here to support them.
