Cute and convenient market in the heart of the Hamptons! They have a very convenient market that caters to your food, groceries and household items. They have a natural juice stand inside where you can also get fresh matcha green tea, and other natural juices. The variety of foods is incredible and they carry lots of delicious baked goods, and other prepared foods. FYI, bathrooms are upstairs. It took me a few minutes to find the bathroom until I asked and had to go up the stairs. The bathroom is not very clean but it is what it is. Not what you would expect from the area (Easy Hampton). The service is ok they are working very hard so they treat you like they don't have time for your questions..I was a brand new customer and even asking where the restroom was made me feel a bit unwelcome maybe they only cater to the "regulars"! read more

I went there to get some fried chicken, I've had it before and it was very good. Only this time I got just one fried chicken thigh. Well it was $6.00,, SIX DOLLARS!! for one thigh! seriously!!! I purchased it but was not pleased. It was very good as usual but not worth six dollars. It's not that I can't afford it, but at these prices I won't be back soon. And I'm telling everyone I know about this. They should be ashamed! They'll go out of business at this rate, especially in the winter when there's not enough people here to support them. read more

This place has become what was ALREADY ridiculously expensive now, ABSURDLY expensive. I just bought a personal sized vanilla yogurt, a ciabatta loaf and a tiny bag of frozen peas and it was over 30$. My go-to in the neighborhood - yes it has new ownership and frankly it's been a positive change. Prices may be higher on grocery items but if you're shopping for bulk bargains go to King Kullen. I love the hot bar choices and the deli salads. If you're looking to prepare a meal for the evening for a small group you can find everything you need. Coffee, desserts, salad bar also excellent. Need something specific but don't want to go downtown? Try here first and you may be surprised by their inventory. I don't live in EH year round but have called it a second home for my entire life and spend time there in all seasons. Was very disappointed with a Panini turkey sandwich and this is the second time that it happened to me they heat the cold cuts up in the microwave and then put the sandwich on the Panini machine. Totally grossed out. Who heats up cold cuts in a microwave. You can't do that to a pure Italian person. I just threw the sandwich out. I did not have it in me to tell the girl that she grossed me out by putting it in the microwave. I haven't been there since then because it's scarred me. read more

Red Horse is a great place to go if you need to pick something up quickly, but it is small and does not have everything. For example, they have very few milk options and they mainly carry a brand that I had never heard of. They do have a parking lot which I've always managed to find parking in. They also are fairly expensive, but it's in line with normal Hamptons pricing. They have a small produce section which has decent quality products. During COVID, they are only allowing in one person per household to minimize the number of people in there. read more

Bought an apple pie among other items. Get home and there was actually green and black mold. Both kids ate a piece and realized after. Brought it back the next morning, the first think to woman asked is if I have a receipt, she didn't apologize or ask if everybody was ok. She was extremely rude and actually laughed. Was then directed to the owner PEDRO, who looked and said "wholly shit" he apologized but just offered to give a refund. "What else do you want me to do" he said. Should have offered a store credit or something more than a refund. Then he became rude. Reading other comments the theme seems the be horrible rude service. That was my experience. read more

I work in the food industry so I can tell the difference between the coloring of the ham and raw chicken. I came here a few years ago and also had a bad experience. Very inconvenient layout to move around and access to salad and prepared food counter was a mess, crowded and impossible to have a better view, with people cutting in and out. Overall, most of the merchandise they carry can be had in other gourmet shops, but with a mark-up that is unwarranted for the shabbiness of the store or the shopping experience. Prepared foods are very good- would recommend salmon kabobs, marinated skirt steak and green chicken. Produce is average and everything else is grossly overpriced even for East Hampton standards. Better off going a mile away to Citerella's which has everything that's better except for those previously mentioned. The reason for the rating is the General Manager, who is incredibly rude and acts like he's the only store in town. I frequent this place. Great feel and atmosphere. The quality is excellent. Their salad bar is fantastic, as are their hot breakfast and lunch options. Sure, you will pay for the quality, but much of it is still very reasonable. Salad bar (with TONS of options, and fresh produce) is only $7.99/lb 2 Egg Breakfast sandwiches (with bacon or sausage) on a nice roll is only $3.50! Various hot lunch choices (made fresh daily) are great portions and range from $7.99 to 9.99. Their French Toast is AWESOME, and only $1.25/slice. Great coffee. Can't wait to try the pizza! I've been a loyal customer spending $1,000 or more a week here(I'm a chef). I asked for ground salmon which I have gotten here 4 times this summer. They said they have never done this for me and said I was lying. I approached the owner and asked him about the ground salmon. He immediately turned red in the face and said it's up to the deli if they want to do it for you. I asked him why he was so rude about a simple question and he began to yell at me and cuss me out. After some words were exchanged he banned me from the store. He has serious anger issues and does not respect his customers at all. They lost a great customer today. I finally had a chance to shop here today and what a pleasure it was. We picked up several items for an impromptu BBQ and while the prices are a little high, the quality of the items we purchased and the friendliness of the staff made it a good value. The layout makes it easy to shop and they have a better atmosphere than the old Tutto Italiano by Citarella. What can I say that hasn't already been said? I'll just add my voice to the rest of the throng telling you what an amazing place this is. For starters, the market has an incredible variety of food. Sandwiches, soups, salad bar, desserts, baked goods, prepared hot foods, and fresh meat and seafood. There are also crazy gourmet items (truffle butter, for example). The stars of this incredible show however are the fresh mozz and the pizza. The pizza is well made with crispy crust and a variety of toppings (including a lot of classic combos you won't see elsewhere, like escarole in a pizza roll). My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken roll. The mozzarella here is bar none the best I've ever had and likely the best you'll ever have unless you're blessed with a nonna who hand makes it in her kitchen. Chef Pasquale regularly dunks his hands in boiling water to expertly craft this amazing delicacy. You can pretty much eat it plain. However it's also awesome on a prosciutto sandwich with fresh tomatoes on crusty bread or on a fresh slice. If you're in or near the Hamptons, make it a point to go here! read more

My favorite market in the Hamptons. Must haves: -Chef Pasquale's Mozzarella - made in house, by hand. There is nothing like getting fresh mozzarella made that day. His mozzarella is simply the best. Either get yourself some bread and prosciutto and make yourself an amazing sandwich OR get tomato, basil, and some of the high quality olive oils they have at the market and make yourself the best caprese salad. -The pizza and pizza rolls - There are small little personal pies and pizza by the slice you can get to go, or you can call ahead and order. Recently had a pizza with crumbled sausage and broccoli rabe. So good! The broccoli rabe was sauteed in garlic infused oil prior to putting it on the pizza so you had that great taste that complemented the ground sausage perfectly. Another must try is the buffalo chicken rolls (when you get them home dip them in some blue cheese for some extra decadence). The grandma slice with the fresh sauce and fresh mozzarella is also phenomenal. You really can't choose wrong here. They also have a lot of fun groceries for foodies like quail eggs and truffle butter and standard groceries as well. A must try! read more

Very nice local market. Great to go in and get fresh fruits and vegetables and really tasty well prepared cooked food. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. I stop there frequently during the week, instead of going into the village to a regular supermarket just to grab a few things or lunch/dinner to take out...especially in the summer when town is so crowded with weekenders and vacationers. I was hesitant to get a slice here because the market specializes in everything from butchered meats to prepared food, fresh salad bar (huge), hot foods, homemade mozzarella, etc. with so much going on, I didn't think the pizza would be anything great. Boy, was I wrong! This $3.50 slice was worth every penny. Piping hot, gooey cheese that I bet was their homemade cheese, freshly sautéed vegetables, and little to no grease.
