Last year, we purchased two new air conditioning systems through one of the large, well-known HVAC companies in town. As part of that purchase, we were entitled to biannual inspections, including a full home plumbing inspection. Ruben came to my house ar 730pm on a Friday night because of a leak in my ceiling. He was thorough and provided professional friendly service. He did not see the problem that the other plumber said was the problem. He actually diagnosed it to be HVAC and not plumbing (which made sense as he explained it and showed pictures). He sealed the hole, gave a referral for the HVAC and did not charge ua for the visit. Still tipped for time and gas. We had noticed that the toilet in our guest bathroom seemed to have some kind of a leak inside the tank so that it would keep running for a few seconds at a time. On a Friday afternoon, I submitted a plumber request on Yelp and Ruben at Golden Rule Plumbing contacted me almost immediately. His scheduler said they could come out the very next afternoon, but I rescheduled for Monday afternoon to accommodate our own availability. On Monday morning, they phoned to say Ruben had finished another job earlier than expected and could arrive within an hour if I wanted, so I quickly agreed. Bought my home about 4 years ago, which has a fire pit in the backyard. I tried to turn it on with a key (just like the fireplace) but there was no gas. I contacted the previous owner and he did not know even though he installed it. Each year after numerous attempts to figure it out, summer came and it was not a priority. I eventually was able to pull plans from Henderson and found a natural gas pipe that went to it; however after lifting it up it was no where to be seen. When Ruben came out for a prior project, I asked him if he could look at it and he said sure. He did a diagnostic with a camera to confirm the gas lines and then started to dig at the fire pit. He found the gas lines and made all the connections lit right up. Again, just like before he did quality work for a reasonable cost. Had a solar water heater, told me they can help me, we were going with the warranty, they listen to me very friendly, I was relieved I found someone that actually listen to what was going on, long story short I wasn't approve for my water heater thru my warranty they tried their best to help me get it.
