5 stars all around! My aunt invited me here today and it was a really good time! They have Groupon with a great advertisement and deal. We tried 5 amazing tasting wines plus a souvenir cup and cheese and crackers of your Choice. It was delightful for sure! The service was absolutely the best! Helen and Lee was so amicable with exceptional service. They are husband and wife that are hard workers and run GSV smoothly. They are very welcoming and Helen makes you feel at home and gave us a brief history on Golden Star Vineyards. It has been there since 2006 and thriving since then! The ambiance is very intimate and inconspicuous for sure. It seems like it's nothing around when your driving up, but it's quite a treat once you enter the winery. Place is Located in Littlerock Ca, near Palmdale and very cute and quaint, which makes it very personable. Today they had live music and the singer was great! She played all the cuts for sure. This place is good for a good time with your friends or significant other. It gives a very romantic vibe for sure! It's a nice chill atmosphere and if you need WiFi they will give you their code if your out of service. They also have parking right on the lot for you. I will definitely come back here! Very good wine, phenomenal customer service, and good treats. They give you complimentary water to you or treats if you want! Also, they have wine membership that's really reasonable every 3 months for 3 bottles under $90.00. I highly recommend, nice place and different from other wineries. -Marshay D.

My aunt took us to this vineyard as a nice gesture and this place was outstanding. The owners Lee and Helen were very welcoming and had some great tasting of wines. The purple rain tasting was my favorite. We had five tastings and all were good. They have a Groupon also for (4) people with five tastings and a free glass with snacks. The place is very clean with a cool atmosphere. Certain days they have music and food trucks. I would go back and do more tastings. I had a great time. They also do special events for birthday parties etc.

My boys! In honor of Bastille Day I brought fruit crepes and baguette sandwiches.

Lee and Helen are super nice people. We love that they have live music on the weekends. We've been away from their tasting room for a few years and just joined their wine club and are looking forward to reconnecting with their wines. I'll report back with more thoughts after I taste some more. They welcome bringing your own snacks, picnics, etc. I've seen sometimes they have a food truck. They have a very clean portapotty. Here's hoping guests keep it that way! I've also seen Cornhole for when the temps cool. If you have a well-behaved kiddo and bring activities to keep them busy then it's cool to have them there. But it isn't a really kiddo kind of place. Check them out on Instagram. The post updates often on grapes, awards and live music. Drink Local.

Musical entertainment at the Golden Star winery.

Gold star winery is a excellent place to come and taste wine and be educated on the fine art of winemaking. The owners Lee and Helen are wonderful. They will make suggestions they and help you pick the perfect wine. Also They Musicians that come and play music for your enjoyment! I cannot say enough good things about the golden star vineyards they're great people stop by and get to know them! Open Saturday and Sunday and you might want to check their website for other dates that they may be open!

My friend is a regular customer of this place. It is a agriculture vineyard practically. If you look at a good wine and no fancy patio, the are great, really friendly and wine, you must try! You can bring food. For while they don't serve food. $ 10 per person for 5 tasting.

Prestige Wines at GoldenStar. An unforgettable glass of wine in order to bring out the lifetime memories filled with joy our family.

From family to yours... we have gone to winery's all over although given 5 stars is an understatement nothing comes close to the satisfaction GoldenStar's selection. I don't like to spend my time reviewing but I definitely wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the incredible wines I have ever came across. Very Cozy environment for couples or the family. Marvelous for weddings events and not stop compliments. Prestige Wine Must be added to your wine list

Can't wait to come back.

We went in for the wine tasting, which comes with five wines: one white, one rosé, and three reds. Their wines are definitely on the drier side. I really enjoyed their reds and their Chardonnay. They also have a cute little shop inside with snacks and gift options. I picked up some crackers and organic raspberry Red Vines, which was a fun little bonus. The downside for me was the tasting experience. Tastings are done at the counter, so we had to stand at the bar while tasting, even though there is plenty of beautiful seating throughout the property. There were three people working behind the bar. The two helpers were very kind, friendly, and seemed like they were learning the ropes. Unfortunately, the woman with the long black, curly/wavy hair seemed to be running the show, and her personality really put a damper on our experience. She came across as extremely cold and unwelcoming, and honestly looked like she didn't want to be there, girl looks miserable. We didn't stay after the tasting. I really like being able to relax and enjoy my time at a winery, and when the service feels unwelcoming, it takes away from the experience for me. I was there with two friends and was actually considering celebrating my birthday there, but I couldn't see myself spending more time in that atmosphere. So we decided to leave and head up the street to Reyes Winery...and honestly, I'm SO happy we did! If you're interested, head over to my Yelp and check out my review of Reyes Winery. The difference in the experience was night and day!
