Talk about "last minute", I had to pick up my wife and 4 kids from SFO at 8:30pm on a Tuesday night. I wasn't feeling well, my once every 3 years or so episode of vertigo couldn't have come at a better time. It was about 5:30 pm and I had to drive from the east bay to SFO to pick up the family but I couldn't even stay upright so I looked through Yelp to search airport transfers and called about 3 different services. None of them answered the phone but I was able to leave a message for each. RYE Limousine & Transportation was the only one who called me back. I explained my situation and asked if it wasn't too late to schedule a pickup at SFO that night. When I was told it wasn't too late , I asked how much it would be. When I was told the cost it was about what I expected so I went ahead and confirmed it. I was told to book the ride on their website which was quick and easy. Payment was also through the website and I wasn't charged until my family was at home. My family really liked the driver and he helped with the 9 suitcases and 5 hand carry that they had. The vehicle that they rode in was a Chevy Suburban which we have rented several times in the past on vacations so my family was comfortable in it and it was neat and clean. The only issue was minor in that when I made the reservation online, I thought I reserved a Lincoln Navigator. It was minor because the Suburban was more than sufficient. Overall, I was very impressed with the service that RYE Limousine provided and will definitely use them again in the future if I need another airport transfer. This situation was really helpful because not only was I not feeling well but because there was 5 people that I needed to get, they also had all that baggage that was way more than my little Nissan pick up could fit. I called RYE with an unusual request- I had my doing in Sacramento and needed to get her home to me in the East Bay but had car trouble. I asked if they would consider transporting my dog from Sacramento to me. They were great; the owner checked with one of his drivers and he was fine with it. What a conundrum I was in! I had to get to Lafayette BART station by 10 AM, but had no ride to take me there. Luckily, RYE Limousine Service was able to schedule someone to pick me up from my home and take me there. At promptly 9:50 AM, I had a limo outside of my home with a kind gentleman named Toghrul waiting to greet me. I am not used to this VIP treatment, but I could get used to it! Everything from the car to Toghrul's warm personality to the ride was professional and comfortable. We had great conversations and the trip went by so quickly, I almost didn't realize it when we arrived at BART. The owner called and spoke to my husband, it seems that we weren't the only disappointed customers. They fired their dispatcher. They let go of a few drivers that apparently valued sleep over picking up clients on time. I have to say that I am glad that we gave them another chance and they have showed up early/on time both to get us to the airport and back home. The Mercedes was comfortable and the driver was safe. What started out as a last second adventure to Napa from SFO for New Years Eve turned into a weekend of adventures, and it wouldn't be possible without the recommendations, flexibility, and ultimately white glove service provided by RYE Limousine, My group of 7 and I initially booked a 6 hour package through Donna after reading the reviews on Yelp. Our driver, Yasar, arrived on time and got us over to Napa promptly. Between a packed schedule of tastings and dinner, there was little room for error and Yasar got us to every stop in time for our reservations. However, once we got to dinner, we decided that we didn't want to go back to SF, and would rather spend New Years in Napa. We expected that we'd have to find our own way home the next day (and were fine with that), but I decided to throw a hail mary to Donna and see if there's anything he can do for us. Much to my surprise, he said Yasar would stick around with us for an extra so that we wouldn't have to rush our meal. He said they'd make sure we have transportation the next morning, and even helped us find last minute availability at the Solage in Calistoga, where we were able to celebrate NYE at the hotel. The next morning (ok, more like afternoon) when our hangovers wore off, Donna kept good on his word and dispatched a driver to get us back to SF from Napa for a nominal fee. I've used them so often for work (mostly airport transfers) that I've started using them for myself and my family when they are in town. I've never worked with such a reliable company. I just had to add something to this page... So I was looking for a town car service in the city. And I was quite hesitant, I had a really bad experience before (with a different company), and it cost me. So I called them at 6am in the morning, to arrange for charter service fortomorrow evening. To my surprise, I was able to get ahold of someone right away. And made my reservation over the phone... Painless process took less then 5 mins. And then when I called back with another question and to change my reservation a bit. The operator Heidi knew my name!!! Before I even mentioned it, and made sure I understood the extra cost clearly... We'll see how they do tomorrow...., but so far I'm extremely impressed. So... The excellent service followed through... The day of, quicksilver called me about 15 mins before my scheduled pick up time, and told me my driver was waiting. I was the utmost shocked, from my passed experiences I've had to sometimes wait quite a while. The driver....pardon my forgetting his name was very nice.... He open the door for me on arrival, said good evening to me as I entered the car. But then assumed his rightful position as driver and let me be. Which I did appreciate since I wasn't in the mood for chit-chat. He later dropped my date and myself at the restaurant, and thanked me for my time. After dinner I also arranged for them to pick me up, and my driver knew that it might have ended before my anticipated time, so he arrived 30 mins before my dinner ended. Since he was the same driver he recognized me and asked if I was ready, I told him I wasn't and that it was going to be about 30 mins more. So after dinner, which ended up being about an hour later. The driver was still waiting outside for me. I felt really bad having him wait for such a long time, in which I apologized. He laughed and said, "no need to worry... I was just enjoying my book and I hope you both had a very nice dinner." And that made me very happy :). He then drove us to our final destination, which after he dropped us of, thanked me again, and just had me sign a piece of paper. And that was it! So flawless and so professional. Through the years I have gone through a number of car companies to take me to and from the airport. I have endured drivers who get lost, drive recklessly, and answer cell phones while driving. The guys from RYE limousine never do that and they have never disappointed me. All the drivers take my safety as their highest priority and they are impressively always on time no matter what. I just text them and I get a confirmation email immediately. Then they show up 5-10 minutes before the schedule pick up time and let me know by text message that they are already at my door. Agnes was very profession on the phone. She also gave us a flat rate, no extra taxes, fees, or hidden charges. She had champagne, sodas, water, and lot of ice in the limo, and you can plug in your iPod ( or just your phone ) for music which was great. Driver has on time ( actually 15 minutes early ) and was able to get us into Walnut Creek. We were able to go to an extra bar after dinner, and he was ready for us right at the departure time. Graceful! That is the word I feel I must use. Everything was so well handled that even in the midst of confusion and a hot mess, I never ONCE worried about RYE Limousine inc. They were amazing. I called to book a birthday limousine - 5 hrs, 9pm to 2am, 10 passenger limo. This was a surprise for the birthday girl. The limo would meet us at 9pm at the restaurant, drive us into SF Marina district for some bar hopping, and then safely deposit us back home. They did this PERFECTLY and so much more. Some of the complaints you might hear about those OTHER limo services are that they overcharge or have hidden fees, that they don't know where they are going, aren't nice, or have gross cars. NONE of these are true with RYE Limousine inc. They are very reasonably priced. Flat rate of $450 dollars for 5 hrs (EVERYTHING INCLUDED). Every time I called, Heidi always picked up the phone and addressed all of my concerns and questions with a politeness you don't find in the transportation industry these days. He made sure to explain everything about the service and would make sure I felt completely comfortable before I agreed to anything. Every time there was a change, he would send me a new confirmation document to my email and was never impatient with me. He agreed to give us two bottles of champagne and the limo would be stocked with soda, water, and ice. On to the night! I was really anxious because it was a surprise and I wanted to make sure the night was a success. So much depended on the driver and limo. At 9pm sharp, I am not joking people, the moment I saw it was 9pm I simultaneously saw a limo roll up in front of the restaurant. I walked outside and introduced myself to Tag. What a FANTASTIC driver. I truly do have to suspend my belief for how good he is. He's been doing this for 12 years and his experience was crucial. He greeted me warmly and showed me how to work their music system and gave me a tour of the bar. He opened the trunk and showed me the chilled champagne ready to go, explaining there was one chilling in the bar already and one extra. He also grabbed an aux cable for me so I could hook my phone to the music system. I brought the birthday girl out with eyes closed and the surprise was amazing. She loved it. Tag opened the door and helped all the ladies into the car. He then handed me the second champagne bottle and his card with his cell phone number. Our drive was seamless. The limo was clean and very nice. Lights/neon, glasses (not plastic cups), napkins, good speakers, and a working moonroof. They had even stocked the bar with some beer! We arrived at our first stop and he told me to text us if we wanted to go somewhere else and he would come immediately. After about an hour, I texted him that we were ready to go to the next bar and IMMEDIATELY I got a text from him saying that he was on his way. Moments later, we walked outside and Tag was pulling up to the door. He was double parked but made sure that the rear door was in between the parked cars so it was easy to open and easy for people to get in. Greatness is in the details!! The true test was when we had a drunk birthday girl. Instead of being impatient and angry with us, he was a SUPERSTAR. When we asked him if he had a bag (just in case), he flew to the trunk, grabbed the ice bag and dumped the remaining ice out and gave it to us. He even helped us walk our friend to the car and was nice the entire time! When we got back home, he thanked us and made sure we were okay before driving the rest of the party home. I found on RYE Limousine by their reviews on Yelp. We were in Hawaii and needed transportation from SFO to our home in Walnut Creek. We are a family of 5 and I booked the reservation a day before New Year's Eve; and the first day requested to call me back since they booked. I did not expect a call back; but they called me last 5 minutes later to confirm our reservation. I was told the owner was going to do whatever it takes to have an bran new Cadillac SUV waiting for us. It was more than an SUV waiting for us, it was a stretched limo! To top it off, it was Yassir ( the owner ) who greeted us! My kids were blown away and were giddy the whole ride home. My wife was pretty impressed as well! I needed to go from Concord to SJC (to pick up a friend) and bring him back to the hotel he reserved already in Walnut Creek. Few days later I had to do the vise versa, take him back to SFO. After a few email exchanges, the trip and price was arranged. That great guy was RYE LIMOUSINE INC. Thats the QUALITY we are talking here. Anyways, on the day of the trip, I hit a major snag and Yasar went out of his way to accommodate and almost completely changed my plans profrccionally. It was freaking unbelievable how much above-and-beyond he went. He was a real pro and personable throughout the entire experience. Besides, he is full of fun with great personality. All the limos I have taken back were piece of dumpster with stinking crap everywhere. Yasars limos are literally house on wheels, so clean ad sanitized. RYE LIMO is my first choise I call every single time I ever need a ride, and Yasar is my favorite driver when I need a car service of any kind! There's nothing like a stretch limo to make a party special! And RYE made booking our event and enjoying the ride 100% painless. We're in Alameda, in the East Bay. My daughter had the bright idea of a limo tour over the Bay Bridge into SF for dinner, followed by a city tour and loop over the Golden Gate and Richmond bridges. Yasar arrived on time in an immaculate black stretch limo, fully stocked, and with all the bells and whistles. He was so prepared and briefed by the dispatcher that I didn't need to say anything about where to go, timing, etc. He simply opened the door, our guests piled in excitedly, and the car pulled away in style. RYE's all-inclusive billing, gratuity included, added to the ease of the whole experience. When the car arrived back, everyone still glowing, Yasar and I smiled, shook hands, and poof, it was as if the whole experience had been a magical dream. If i could give zero stars i would. We rented a sprinter van for my Sons 9th birthday for six hours from Antioch to top golf in Roseville California. In the beginning everything seemed to go as planned we gave our credit card information to him and set an itinerary for the company reserved for six hours emphasis on the six hours. We rented A up-to-date sprinter which he sent pictures of that seemed good and I was satisfied. On the day of October 9th he calls to confirm our ride. I was happy that he had called to confirm it may be feel more secure with the company. The driver comes early at 1 PM and I was happy that they came on time but then the problems started off with the spring not matching the pictures that he sent me in a text message the sprinter he sent me in the text message was a 2018 sprinter and the sprinter that picked us up was made in early 2000s with no USB cord no Bluetooth or anything for the kids to play their music on so that was problem number one.We get To top golf and the sprinter driver first of all drove very crazy on the road with eight 9 year olds in the car. When We finally get to top golf he says that he has another ride to get to and another driver is going to come get us. We called the company the company answers and says no we will the driver to turn around he is mistaken. Then they lie and say that our card was declined and started yelling at us and saying that we used to service before and we owe money from the last trip(this is our first time using this company) and we need to send identification and credit card so we complied. Because they said they would not pick us up. After that he says he apologizes he got us mixed up with another group and says the card went through then says that he has a driver on the wayBut his phone is dead so he does not have an estimated time for pick up available but the driver is on the way. After that he never answers the phone and leaves us all stranded at top golf with 8 kids I definitely do not recommend this company we had to Uber eight kids home from Roseville to Antioch($250 for each ride) and again this was for my son's birthday. It was completely ruined and totally embarrassed by this company's actions. I do not recommend this company to anyone! read more
