Such a friendly place! My little boy was having issues and I have been to vet clinics who would say " he's fine " .. then be done. The Dr , really tried to figure out what was going on. I appreciate the staffing! See you guys soon for the recheck

I have been going to Golden Valley Vet for about 3 years now since I previously had bad experiences at 3 other local vets. I have had nothing but great visits, they take very good care of both my pups, both Drs listen to my concerns,, all staff front and back know my girls and I by 1st name. Always helpful, via phone call, email or in office. We wont take our girls anywhere else!

I am so very thankful to have found Golden Valley Vet! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Scheduling was easy, and the staff was beyond helpful. They performed an EKG before my dog's dental cleaning to ensure he would handle sedation safely, which gave me so much peace of mind. They ended up pulling nine teeth, and the care they provided was top-notch. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, and the cost was very affordable compared to other places. I will 100% make the hour-and-a-half drive to continue my dog's dental care here. Thank you so much to the entire team at Golden Valley Vet!

Bandit bloody toe nail was cut way far into the quick.

My mom has brought her dog here for the last 3 years. They're very Overpriced, the lady at the front desk is rude every time. Today, there was an awful lot of yelping coming from bandit,in the back. They bright him out and we paid and left. He's got long hair on his feet but when I looked at his toe nails, they were cut so far down into the quick, it was no wonder he cried so much.

Because I have a disability, my adult daughter is authorized on our account and brought our dog in for the visit. Instead of a vaccine appointment, my daughter was checked in for an exam. After answering routine questions from a veterinary technician, the veterinarian came into the room and performed an exam. My daughter was confused because previous vaccine appointments involved simply taking our dog back for vaccinations. We were then charged $74 for the exam and $130 for a fecal/heartworm test. The fecal charge was especially frustrating because we did not bring a sample, and I had already told the office the day before that I would not be doing that test. The office later refunded the $130 because no test was actually performed. When I called to discuss the unexpected exam charge, Susan, the office manager, told me my daughter had requested the exam, which is not true. She refused to remove the charge because the service had already been provided. I also found her dismissive, unwilling to listen, and she repeatedly spoke over me during the conversation. I am still waiting for a call back from Dr. Wallace. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled has caused me to lose confidence in the practice. I have requested my dog's records and will be transferring her care elsewhere.

The compassion of the Vet and RVN cannot be beat. I am amazed and humbled that such kind professionals took care of G'dog even with all the volume of pets involved. I am very grateful for the clinic and their staff for their service and helping people like me afford such important care. G'dog is a recently adopted rescue dog with no recent, if any, dental care. Luckily, only two teeth extractions were needed. One of the meds for the teeth extraction is liquid and needs to be refrigerated, but I got a cup of ice from a fast food place for the long drive home. For me, it was worth taking the time off and exploring the area, even with the extra driving time. I was at the Pet Advocates office door around 7:45am and I was heading home by 3:30PM. I will be coming back to Pet Advocates for as long as I can. Many thanks to the vet and staff who patiently took care of G'dog. He is already doing better without the previous pain in his mouth.

The Pet Advocate offers significantly lower prices compared to Bay Area vet clinics, which sold me. Even their highest price for an extraction is only $40 (pre-molars and molars). After submitting my pet's information online, I was contacted shortly after with availability a month out and paid my $50 deposit. The instructions say drop-off is at 8am so I got there at 7:45am. To my surprise, there were already a ton of people there waiting for their pets' spay/neuter and dental cleaning appointments. By the time I was checked in and allowed to bring my dog inside, it was closer to 9am. Having come from a boutique-like vet in D.C., I was put off once I got inside. The waiting room was so busy, and there were so many cats inside from Animal Service, pet owners, and rescues. It just felt too crowded. Once we got to the back for the examination, it felt even more crowded and very factory-like. However, the vet was attentive, addressed all my concerns, and the vet techs were very friendly and gentle with my sweet pup. Before leaving you do have to pay first. Please note it is about a 3% additional fee for debit and credit cards, so I recommend bringing cash! Initially, I thought all my dog would need is dental cleaning. However, a few hours later I received a call from his vet technician who explained the x-rays showed serious bone less in one of his pre-molars and a molar. She explained to me the additional amount owed for the medication and extractions so I could be prepared. When I went to pick my dog up at 3pm, there was yet another long line and it took another 30-40minutes for most of us to be called in. The vet tech took the time to sit with me and explain all the limitations, how the procedure went, showed me the x-rays, and advised me on post-care. It helped put me at ease. For the price, it was worth coming here. The only cons were the check-in and checkout system, the number of animals there at one time, and how crowded the examination area was. Aside from dental cleaning and vaccinations, I probably would not come here for anything else. In addition to the driving time, factor in about another hour for check-in AND check out. A week post-op and my dog's extraction sites are healing very well so I'm still satisfied with the service!

Our old Vet's office in Turlock changed ownership and they no longer had any of our dog's medical records, so we decided to just start over with a new vet. We found Dr Raj's reviews and decided to give him a try. We had a positive experience at this Vet's office. They keep a clean office, there is plenty of room in the waiting area to keep pets a safe distance from each other, and the staff was very professional in their handling of us. Dr Raj took the time to educate us about a few things, which I really appreciated. He examined our dog, who was scared and anxious about being at the Vet's office, with a very gentle hand and I could tell that he won her trust. The Vet's assistant was also very kind and informative, and I felt that she really took the time to connect with our dog as well. Dr Raj came up with a plan of action, and our dog is already showing signs of improvement in response to the treatment plan that we are faithfully following. I think we found our new Vet.

Anyways, when picking up the remains of your dog it's kinda' hard to remember stuff to ask while you're there, like "hey I noticed my dogs collar and leash she was wearing when I left her there aren't in the bag". I had too much on my mind to think of that at the time. Do I wanna go back and pick the collar and leash up? Why would I want a continuation of my sorry for even that. Dr Singh and staff explained all costs before taking Bella back. The staff all loved on my Bella. Miss Bella, instead of wanting to go back to the car outside, was pulling me back to the surgical area, almost like she wanted to say bye and thank you to the entire team. Dr. Singh and everyone was so gentle. Knowing Bella's sweet nature, and everybody's compassion, i'm not surprised , because at this age, she usually never wants to leave my side.
