Our old Vet's office in Turlock changed ownership and they no longer had any of our dog's medical records, so we decided to just start over with a new vet. They keep a clean office, there is plenty of room in the waiting area to keep pets a safe distance from each other, and the staff was very professional in their handling of us. Dr Raj took the time to educate us about a few things, which I really appreciated. He examined our dog, who was scared and anxious about being at the Vet's office, with a very gentle hand and I could tell that he won her trust. The Vet's assistant was also very kind and informative, and I felt that she really took the time to connect with our dog as well. My family recently moved to the area and needed a new vet for my dog. It was a pretty urgent matter since I suspected my dog had an ear infection. I called Central Valley Vet Hospital for an appointment and the person who answered was incredibly kind and helpful. I was able to make an appointment for him and was able to easily transfer his veterinary records by email. The day of drop off they kindly took him into the back and let us know that we could pick him up later in the day. They ended up finding a foxtail lodged deep in his ear which consequently, created other issues like a slight infection and some inflammation. Before pursuing any additional treatments they made sure to call us for consent and were very transparent with additional costs - something greatly appreciated since other practices love dropping surprise fees upon pickup. Overall I'm very happy with this vet. The establishment is very clean and spacious, the staff are kind and welcoming, and the vet team themselves did a phenomenal job. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dhanota.He operated on my babies torn ligament and performed TPLO surgery .My dog is walking on all four legs after 4 5 months of excruciating pain My dog"Jasmine"had injury to her leg while she was playing with my daughter in the park.M pool regular vet in Tracy could not get her in so I have to take her to emergency and she was diagnosed with a torn ACL I was referred to a surgeon in Dublin but when I called the office they said they were busy for the next six weeks and sent me to UC Davis .I called UC Davis they again told me that this is not an emergency and they are filled with all these emergency surgeries for the next next two months. I was devastated because I could not see my baby in pain every day even if she was on pain medication a friend of mine told me about a place in Manteca and she referred me to Dr. Dhanota when I called the office he straight away took my phone call and after getting history you made a consultation appointment with me next day I could not believe how non-knowledgeable he is and he's vaccine for 25 years and have done more than 2500 ACL corrections including TBELO and other extra cab to repair a trailer I was given option of either of the surgeries with all these roles and cons and I decided to go with deep yellow I could not believe my ears when Dr. Dhanota told me that he will performed to be yellow within two days when all the other veterinarians and specialist could not do the surgery in two months I was in tears the day of the surgery I dropped off my baby at 8 o'clock and after surgery doctor called me personally and told me about how it went my baby stayed overnight and it was sent home at three different kind of pain medication and antibiotics with all these hand out for taking care at home one of the technician went over passive range of motion and all the other instructions which were very easy to take care at home .I am so happy I don't have words to explain that after this long my babies walking on all four legs and happy as ever .God bless you Dr. Dhanota and your great staff read more

Our 15 year old Chihuahua got sick with pneumonia and a blood infection. Dr Raj was great with him. He was one sick puppy. Dr put him on medication and special food to help with anemia. Dr. Raj was really helpful and considerate of my concerns for my dog. He went over my x-rays and examined my pet. Since I went in as a new client I didn't know what to expect. They are doing everything in the car so I wasn't there for the actual exam but the vet went over the findings from the exam and the x-rays. I went because they advertised allergy testing and the alternative was going to a dog allergy specialist in Rocklin, CA. Well...after examining my senior dog...the vet said there was flea dirt on my dog (have yet to see a flea and we get him groomed every two weeks and experienced groomer has never seen a flea). The vet offered a series of multiple allergy tests and treatments...including an injection. While not all tests were to be done concurrently...the total cost was over $1K. I told the vet that I needed to chat with my spouse so we could make an informed decision about treatment follow-up. So...I paid for the initial exam. After leaving...I realized I did not get the list of suggested treatments (and cost for each) and I called the office the next day and requested the list of suggested treatments and stated that they could delete the cost from the list as I was not cost shopping. I just needed the list so my wife and I could discuss the treatments together. So far...I have not received the list after a phone call and a promised return call. I can only assume the office does not offer treatment information because they think that clients are going to shop cost. I have no such intention and there are no dog allergy treatment facilities in Manteca other than this business. It is a shame that this business appears to retain information re pet treatment even from the client. My primary concern is the health of my senior dog...not the cost to care for him. As far as I am concerned...my dog is family. But I expected more from this business in the way of client communication. I am willing to pay for the information if that is what this business wants. But...since they have not communicated with me...I am left with no choice but to post this review so that others can make informed choices about their pet health needs. read more

Nice veterinarian office, the staff were very friendly and so was the veterinarian. We came here to get my cats leg looked at and got a prescription for flea control as well had her ear tested for mites. Pricing is what I expected of a vet office and your better off getting insurance just in case anything ever happens to your pet. My 10 month old puppy had injured her back leg, they did X-rays and sedation that cost 460. She tore her ligament in her knee. 3200 for surgery. I dropped her off in the morning and never got an update. I called at 6pm and they wanted to keep her for observation. The next day still no call. Around 2pm I got a hold of the vet rep since when I called they were in emergency crisis. Understandble. Told me to pick her up at six pm. The assistant told me her liver was bad and gave me meds. Concerne, she has no pain meds after surgery? He came back told me it was the wrong dog. My puppy came out ok. They need to get it together. I was so impressed at how kind and efficient this place is. I sometimes think that Vets take as good care of the owners as they do our pets. I had a very old dog that had been sick for a week but I knew it was his time to rest from his aches and pains. I called right before they were closing and they gave me a next day appointment. They brought me into the clinic after sitting in the car for about ten minutes. We were escorted to a room and seen first by the Vet Tech Willie and later by Dr Sirvhan I believe was her name. A young understanding and compassionate professional that understood what we were going through. They were, helpful, understanding and amazing with us as new patients. Especially with everything going on. I've had plenty of animals and death is something you have to deal with, no matter how hard it is to let go. Moved to Lathrop recently and found this vet from Yelp. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment, got placed in the exam room right away. If your cat has a "life-threating condition" I would suggest that you visit "Dr. Raj" at Central Valley Vet Hospital in Manteca. He is knowledgeable, empathic, and kind and he "literally" saved my cat's life! My "indoor" cat Tango who is 13 yrs. old showed symptoms of a "urinary-tract infection" commonly called a UTI. As most know, this requires an immediate trip to the vet and w/o insurance can cost in the neighborhood of $2500.00 With help from my friends, I paid the vet and took Tango home to recover from the procedure. His health started to fail almost immediately where he refused to " eat, or drink" because the procedure to "unblock his bladder was unsuccessful." I was devastated emotionally and at this point angry at myself because I trusted the "W" vet to help my cat. They were unable to help him -- which forced me to take more proactive steps, and I began to read many veterinary reviews. Dr. Raj at Central Valley stood out and as it stands --"He literally saved my cat's life! Tango is at home for the last few days, after a successful - " transgender surgery"-- where he now can comfortably urinate (just not through a penis anymore). Thankfully, Tango and I found Dr. Raj who was willing to help us; and $$$ was not his primary concern. My other cat (Mango) is also a patient at Central Valley Vet hospital when he needs care. I was speaking to Nicole the night last night and again today, she was great when I was asking her question about my pup but then when I called today to finish our conversation about my dog she asked what the name on my account was I explained I didn't have one yet I just called to get more information about his vaccinations she then changed her whole mood and voice with me saying " Oh well we aren't taking any new patients right now" I said thank you and hung up. Dr. Raj I just have so much to thank you about. You're really one on one with the clients and follow protocols for covid very well. I completely understand about staying in my vehicle but if you had any feedback at all you would either call me directly or come out to speak with about what was going on with my pets. I didn't know much about dogs and cats but every suggestion or procedure you recommended I went with and now my boys are better than ever. Your staff are very personable and explain estimates or at home instructions very clearly to where my family and I could follow and understand. I've gone to many different vets mainly with my parents before I got my own but you just stood out from most. I felt like you heard me on my worries and reassured me and then followed up with your suggestion. I've never heard of an allergy test and if not for that we would've kept feeding our dog things he was highly allergic to. Or our kitten possibly passing from how weak he was but the medication and food helped and now he's a whole 3lbs and loving life. Or our dachshund I had a LOT of concerns but xrays and blood work showed he was good but watch how fast he ate or drank water and to carry him if stairs are involved to avoid hurting his back. Dr. Raj from Central Valley Pet Hospital in Manteca is a wonderful vet! He has kept my 18 year old 4 lb poodle alive through her many many illnesses.. from her kidneys shutting down for unknown reason, she was very sick, she had to have her rotten teeth pulled, horrible ear and eye infections throughout her life.
