Terrible experience with this company, management, and headquarters. Do not shop at Golden Vision--a masterclass in pathetic customer service from management to headquarters and holding my money hostage. I am currently out $400 because Golden Vision's headquarters claims their "protocol" for processing a simple refund takes an absurd 2-3 weeks. Let's be completely clear: within California, refunds are expected to be handled promptly, and mailing a check from them, electronic or card refunds typically take just 1 to 2 business days to get to the receivers. Since last Friday through this whole week, and weekend of my Bday, my money has been nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, their headquarters is right here in California--not overseas--meaning this obnoxiously ridiculous timeline isn't a logistical hurdle; it's a deliberate choice to sit on customers' money. As they think we customers are stupid. Having to leave a review like this on my birthday today is definitely the last straw with them. That speaks volumes about how completely unacceptable their treatment of me and my money has been. Nobody should have to spend their birthday dealing with their awful corporate runaround and fighting for their own money is completely and obnoxiously unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration, the lost time, and the financial headache. Do not do business with this Bull shit of a company. read more

The worst receptionist experience I've ever had. I walked into the optometry office expecting to be greeted, but the receptionist was on her phone and didn't even put it down. She asked if I had an appointment while still looking at her phone. Instead of politely explaining what I needed to do, she simply pointed with her head toward the sign-in sheet. What concerns me even more is that this seems to have become the norm. The last time I was here, I experienced the exact same attitude from the same receptionist. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism made me feel completely unwelcome. I take both of my kids here for ortho-k lenses. The staff is friendly and thorough - especially Rebecca, Ira, Dr. Zhou and Dr. Eric. They have a lot of availability for appointments and generally the wait time is short. I don't feel like they are rushing through the appointments even when they are busy. Rebecca was so great helping my son put on his lenses for the first time. I didn't think it was possible, but she has skills and she truly cares! Have been coming to GV for a few years now for Ortho-K lenses and I have been satisfied with the service I have been receiving. Ira has always been reachable whenever I needed assistance, and ensured that I was able to meet my doctor, Dr. Eric Leung, on time as well. On days that I suddenly had to reschedule my appointment, Ira would help me find a better time, and would remind me when the new appointment day got closer as well. I might have to wait sometimes, but I understand that Dr. Leung is busy and has a lot of patients, and some patients may take a little bit longer than others. Other than that, there are plentiful of parking spaces, but try to avoid weekend since GV is located in the plaza with many other stores. It might be difficult to find parking spot on ground level during weekends, but you can try the lower level. I would highly recommend GV to anyone who needs an eye doctor. read more

Would rather give them 0 star. 1. Push us pay $$$ to extra exam which is not necessary at all which I never heard in any other places. Because they want to make $$$. 2. Most of the stuffs are rude, racists. One bob hair lady in the check in desk is very mean when we checked in, always have a mad face. A old lady is very RUDE, couldn't believed the other review, looks FAKE for me. 3. They are late for our family group of 4 appointments .And made excuses said that the previous person is late, this and that... 4. All their name brand glasses is in 600+ range which only 200-300 in Costco or other places.And glasses under 150$ which insurance covered are very cheap quality. 5. The moment you walked in, you can feel the drama in the air... The employees are Taiwanese, if you are from China mainland, the way they talked to you will make you very uncomfortable. RUDE, RACIST... 6. My husband got a pair of glasses, and let them adjust it since it was too loose and didn't fit well. They said the tech is not there all the time or they are not responsible for any broken or damage. Are you kidding me? We bought frame here. 7. Now sure how they got so high reviews in yelp. Since I didn't want to pay extra to do the extra eye exam, they only took 5 mins did my regular eye exam which is away tooooooo fast and not professional. If you want to give a try, don't come here! Not worth your time and you won't get good experience like other places. DO NOT COME! Probably places we ever been! read more
