Once we forgot and then the chocolate was brittle and broke into pieces when we sliced it.Customer service is great. I wasn't able to get through on the phone line to order so I sent an email. This was 4 days before Christmas, and I didn't think anyone would actually get back to me, but someone called! I was able to get my order in and have this for Christmas. We were lucky to have our class led by the owner himself, Michael Dunn, who made the session both informative and fun. Parking was conveniently located right in front of their Oakland location, and we were fortunate to have a smaller, more intimate class. They shared insights into the chocolate-making process, along with a bit of history and its significance, which added a cool educational aspect to the experience. There's something for everyone, including vegans, gluten free, etc. I love getting strawberries, peaches, cherries, at their peak season, the chicken shawarma, falafel wrap and lumpia from Cabalen, the Filipino Mediterranean fusion vendor, loaded baked potato, and the funnel cake and mini donut vendors are some of my favorites. There is also an area where you can sit and watch a movie. The Wizard of OZ was being played during my visit, and you may sit in one of the three chairs while you're there!
