The cotton candy on light-up sticks was a massive hit with the teenagers, and the churros were incredible--they tasted just like the ones at Disneyland, which is almost impossible to beat! This was actually my second time hiring Oscar; he first did a churro and ice cream cart for my grandson's 1st birthday. Even with the guest list tripling for the Quinceañera, Oscar's professionalism and service remained flawless. He handled a huge crowd with such grace and a smile. He is a true delight to work with and a total professional. Thank you, Oscar, for making our special event perfect!

Our event was Disney theme and they said that they use the same churros as Disney does. I feel like a lot of vendors say that but I can vouch that these were spot on! Not only that but they also providing toppings such as syrups, sprinkles or/and whip cream too. We hired two different cards, the churro cart and the ice cream cart. I love that his ice cream cart the ice cream is already prepacked so it's clean, fast/easy to service and delicious. Just like the churros, you can add toppings to the ice cream. He allows you to add your own marketing/banner to the front of his carts. They also offer to make a banner for you if you're in a pinch but of course for a fee. They were a great add to our event, especially during the summer time. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable but most importantly, their customer service is worth every penny.

This is the most wonderful dessert. As the business name says, this is a giant caramel apple…read morecovered with caramel and then chocolate. Nuts cover the chocolate. The apple is a Fuji apple. I've purchased this apple several times at Rachel Dunn Chocolates, which was a chocolate shop on Detroit Ave. in Concord. The apple is juicy and sweet. The caramel is just the right amount so it's not overly sweet. I ordered one for dessert for Christmas. It's refreshing after a big dinner. The apple is huge, and it easily can serve 8 people with a good size wedge. The literature that comes with the apple says it can serve 8 to 12 people. It's best to take the apple out of the refrigerator 8 hours before serving so that the caramel and chocolate are easily sliced. Once we forgot and then the chocolate was brittle and broke into pieces when we sliced it.Customer service is great. I wasn't able to get through on the phone line to order so I sent an email. This was 4 days before Christmas, and I didn't think anyone would actually get back to me, but someone called! I was able to get my order in and have this for Christmas. It comes in a pretty gift box.

Amazing Chocolate Class & Delicious Treats!…read more I'm rating this based solely on the chocolate class and their chocolates--I haven't visited their pop-up store in Concord, but I had the pleasure of attending their class in Oakland. First off, the chocolate is absolutely delicious! Second, the owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. The entire family is so welcoming and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to have our class led by the owner himself, Michael Dunn, who made the session both informative and fun. Parking was conveniently located right in front of their Oakland location, and we were fortunate to have a smaller, more intimate class. Everything was well-organized--from the hairnets and aprons to the chocolates and dipping stations. They shared insights into the chocolate-making process, along with a bit of history and its significance, which added a cool educational aspect to the experience. This is such a fun activity, whether you're with family, on a date, or even solo. Honestly, it would also make for a fantastic work team-building event! And the best part? Taste testing! Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Thank you for an amazing class and incredible chocolates!

The store was clean, well-organized, fresh food, and easy to shop. I was able to find everything I needed without any issues, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. What really stood out to me was the customer service. I was shopping with my 4-year-old daughter, who is currently learning and practicing her communication skills. She loves talking to people, asking their names, and making conversation when we're out. When we were checking out, Julie and Aurora were incredibly kind and patient with her. One of them was helping us at the register while the other was working nearby, and despite how busy the store was, they both took the time to engage with my daughter. She asked one of them her name, shared her age, and when she found out the employee had a little boy close to her age, she excitedly asked if she could see a picture. The employee happily showed her a photo, which I thought was such a sweet and genuine moment. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and patient. As a parent, I always appreciate people who take a moment to be kind to children, especially when they're learning how to interact with others and build confidence. Thank you, Julie and Aurora, for making our visit such a positive experience. Great customer service like that truly stands out.

I called earlier this week to ask whether the bakery could prepare a Berry Chantilly Cake without…read morethe fruit on top--simply finished with the frosting. I was told this would not be a problem. When I arrived at the Newell Ave location around 9:30 a.m., the bakery was quiet. There were three employees in the back engaged in conversation, and it took a moment before they decided who would assist me. When a blonde bakery employee finally approached, she immediately and rather dismissively stated that they could not accommodate my request and that they "don't do that." I politely explained that I had called ahead specifically to confirm it was possible, yet my request was still refused without any effort to find a solution. The experience was unnecessarily inconvenient, especially after making the trip based on the information I had been given. I then drove to the Ygnacio Valley Rd location, where a woman bakery employee greeted me with professionalism and a genuinely helpful attitude. He-- the cake decorator accommodated the exact same request in less than five minutes, without hesitation. That level of customer service is what creates loyal customers. This experience highlighted a significant difference between the two locations. The Ygnacio Valley Rd team has consistently been welcoming, accommodating, and solution-oriented every time I've visited. Unfortunately, the Newell Ave location has repeatedly fallen short in providing the level of customer service one expects from Whole Foods Market. Consistency in service matters just as much as quality in products, and I hope the Newell Ave location invests more in customer experience moving forward.
