Our go to farmers market every summer on Thursdays, 5-8p in June -Sept. It's evident from the crowds that this is one of the best farmers markets in the area. Located in Todos Santos park, a variety of vendors ranging from farmers' fresh fruit and veggies, shawarma wraps, dumplings, bbq, pies, kettle corn, donuts, surround the square. There's something for everyone, including vegans, gluten free, etc. I love getting strawberries, peaches, cherries, at their peak season, the chicken shawarma, falafel wrap and lumpia from Cabalen, the Filipino Mediterranean fusion vendor, loaded baked potato, and the funnel cake and mini donut vendors are some of my favorites. There's a few free parking garages near Aung Burma and a brewery nearby but get there early cuz they fill up fast. They also have free live music in the evening so bring your chair/blanket! read more

This is probably one of the best farmers markets I've been to. There was s a good amount of food vendors. Some good fruits and veggies. They always have a band playing. The grass area is jammed pack with people enjoying the music. There's a playground so kids have something to do. This place is surrounded by restaurants. There's a parking garage a block away . Most vendors take atms. Such a great time here but make sure you come early. read more

The spring, summer and fall here are the best of course but so glad it's year round. I just visit more often in summer and fall. I enjoy all the vendors, pretty stable with each one. I wish more food trucks would come but I think there's enough. Maybe if they had more or switched it up they might attract more clientele. read more

I used to love this market, it was the first Bay Area farmers market I was able to go to, and it was before I moved into Concord. It was so close to the apt I was about to rent, and it was located in such a cute area, at the time. The first visit was really busy, and it was November. Because of their market match program, I had the freedom to stretch my food budget, at this market, for all of one year, before being pushed out and blocked from going as frequent. Its sad when other ppl take, steal, block and prevent others from living within their means, rather than forcing them to stay in poverty. The push out began happening in late 2016, but intensified when I moved to pleasant hill in 2017. It was the strangest thing to hear property staff tell another person they needed to keep me out of Concord. I eventually stopped going to the farmers market so frequently, It just felt unsafe. But the market in itself had pretty good, friendly, and kind vendors, who started to recognize me as a familiar face, it was nice since I was new to the area. I found some of my favorite food vendors, at this market, and found their prices to be pretty reasonable, it certainly helped my strict monthly food budget which made me happy cause the Bay Area is so expensive. Concords farmers market was located in the heart of Todos Santos, when I would visit there were plenty of other shops/eateries to visit. Close by Street Parking was often difficult, but at least it was free. There was also free parking in the structure close by. The area has gone downhill a bit, with the rent raises or leases not being renewed, and a lot of stores had to move, which changed and affected the farmers market atmosphere as well as the shop owners and eateries that were forced to move and rebuild their clientele. And a lot more transient, vagrant ppl seemed to be hanging out in the park more. I never had the chance to visit the night market, but had heard it was kind of fun. Altho' it wasn't so easy on the vendors, b/c lights weren't provided, either way it provided a festive environment with live music. Since the Pandemic, I heard the farmers market was closed. But I'm not sure, since other markets are still open. Overall, in the beginning the market was great, busy, bustling, friendly. But even the friendliness began to deteriorate and I have no idea why. Ever since I found out that there's a farmers market 5 min away from me, it's been a weekly routine to visit the Concord Farmers' Market. Fresh produce, pastries, tamales, hummus, honey, ramen, food vendors, live music -- what more can I ask for? When I first visited the farmers' market, peach season was just beginning. Now we're at the end of peach season and I'm pretty sure my family ate around 100lbs of peaches so far. Also for peach-lovers out there, if you haven't tried donut peaches yet, YOU'RE MISSING OUT. I remember trying it for the first time over 10 years ago, but I just recently started eating them again because of the farmers' market. It's 5x sweeter than regular peaches. Even if you buy them hard, they will soften while ripening and they will be SUPER SWEET. I purchased donut peaches at 99 ranch and whole foods to compare them to the ones at the farmers' market. The farmers' market ones were slightly sweeter, but the ones purchased at the local grocery stores were still amazing. It has also been corn season for a while and we have really been enjoying the sweet white corn. There is a corn stand where one high school/college girl is usually selling corn (sometimes a young boy joins her) and they have a bucket that says "college funds." Super cute and wholesome. Make sure to get the white corn. She told us that they are the sweetest. 18 minutes in your steamer will get you perfectly delicious corn on the cob. The strawberries honestly have been a hit or miss, but when I got lucky they were absolutely juicy, tart, and sweet. The tamales were honestly just okay. They weren't mind-blowing or anything like that. I ended up only purchasing them once. The apple-lemon cider is super refreshing and probably better than any other apple juice you have tried. Well, actually it tastes very similar to the Trader Joe's flash pasteurized apple juice (if you know what I'm talking about) but it's a bit tangier because of the lemon. Great place for a wholesome outing with your family or with your significant other! You will most likely not leave empty-handed because they have a plethora of things to offer to everyone. read more

I really like the Thursday Farmer's Market at Todos Santos Park. They have a nice variety of food and produce vendors and live music to keep you entertained. And in the summertime the pluots are on point! So good! The park gets packed but parking is never an issue - there's plenty of parking around the park and in a nearby garage. Concord knows how to do a Farmers Market! They offer a wide variety of produce farm stands, as well as bakeries and other vendors - live music, face painting, food vendors! The works! And it's all situated in an awesome park setting surrounded by drink and dining options. The farms offer organic and traditional options at great prices. Bring a wagon - you will load up! Tip: Parking is challenging. Use the garage by the hot dog shop instead of circling endlessly. Bring a blanket to sit on Thursday nights for live music! read more

What makes the Concord Farmers' Market great is that it always has a lively atmosphere no matter what time of day or the year you ago. I've always lived around the area and have been surprised at how easily populated this small yet cozy Todos Santos Plaza park always is. I've dropped by during their Thursday night market (open 4-8pm only during Summer days I believe 'til the end of October) and was a little surprised at how many people were there for a night market. Though, it does seem to be a nice treat as you can treat yourself out after a quick stroll around the market--Todos Santos has a LOT of cute little places and restaurants to go to, which I love. A normal market with a wide variety of fruit vendors, vegetables, pastries, a florist and bakeries with a lovely nut/almond vendor (which I've been scouring for in local markets--delicious vendor here). They also have a couple fresh food vendors which is always great if you want to grub (hit or miss). There's also some great live entertainment going on. I saw a Journey tribute band come around here some time last year and heard a Beatles tribute band there recently. Overall, it's a great place for all you'd want at a farmers market--a gorgeous, community-focused location with a lot to do in the area. read more

There were an elder couple walking infront of me and they kindly asked him "how much are your blueberries?" And he said "$20" and the elderly couple couldn't hear well, so said "what was it?" And he yelled at them "I SAID $20, DID I STUTTER?!" Then under his breathe he said "stupid! Now get out of here" which I only hoped the elderly couple didn't hear. Meh. Not worth checking out if you've never been here unless you're strictly looking for fruits and veggies. There was maybe one or two food stands. :( THE GOOD: Not much people so crowding is not an issue and the park is very spacious where you can easily walk around and socially distance. THE BAD: This is my first time here and I am not impressed, I'm sure it was a lot better pre-covid. I was really looking forward to seeing some food stands especially the crepe one. read more

I recommend walking through the market once just to see whats going on. Then walk back and buy the things you need. That way you know what you really want and you're not tempted to just buy what ever looks tempting. Blueberries were blazing and so were the home made goodies. Much more homemade breads, tortillas, sausages and cookies than at my local Martinez Market. Like Emily J. said, the free parking garages make coming to this market so convenient. Todos Santos Plaza was made to host a Farmers Market. Or so I think anyway. read more

Okay, hands down. My new favorite farmer's market. When 4PM rolls around on Thursday, I make it a point that I'm at this plaza, taking in the sights and sounds of the hustle and bustle from this place. With two parking garages, parking is super easy. With a hop, skip, and a step, you're in the heart of the plaza. The whole plaza is lined with vendors. The south side.....food vendors. West and North, mostly produce vendors. Notable notables this time around: ~ The beautiful orchid and flower stand on the West and North side. ~ Super sweet white peaches are always a fav of mine. ~ The cherries are a must-have for the season. ~ East and West Afgan Gourmet was there with their delicious bolanis. Their spinach bolani is awesome with ricotta. ~ The filipino food stand...their veggie lumpia are huge. And they use fresh strawberries from the market to make their strawberry lemonade. ~ The baked potato stand who also sell roasted corn on the cob...YUM! Very cute! Pop a squat on the grass and watch the free entertainment...today was an a capella performance from various groups....families, couples, kids, friends, etc....just a nice time out after work to unwind and enjoy the fresh air, outdoors, food booths, fresh veggies and fruits and just relax! I heart farmers markets and given, this place isn't like our usual Danville or even Brentwood farmer's markets we're accustomed to, but none-the-less, it is very cute. There's plenty of local farms with yummy fruits (the strawberries all looked amazing!) and the food booths had so many choices I wanted it all. We ended up eating at the The Flying Falafel(?) and it was so tasty and filling. There's an overwhelming amount of food choices....Asian, Mexican, BBQ, Italian, Mediterranean, etc....... I would definitely come back, and this time bring a beach chair or something to chill out on the grass and enjoy the good food, company, entertainment and just people watch! The only downside is that it's not longer....since we live out in San Ramon/Danville, we had to jet out there after work and caught the tail end of the farmer's market...it wraps up around 8pm. It's hard to find fault in a good farmers market. The location of this market is great. The town square vibe actually feels almost like it could be somewhere else. At this market you can find most of what you need. This market is well established, it's a decent size and has a great variety of goods. From time to time, a knife sharper is there. Sometimes a meat vendor. You can almost always find honey, soap, kettle corn, flowers and tons of produce. There are prepared food vendors on one side of the square, lunch runs about $7 - $9. there is a great variety including fallafel, hot dogs, wood fired pizza, crepes and chicken wings. If you do grab some lunch and don't mind grabbing some grass in the sun you'll find panty of space to spread out. The vendors have a high quality of produce here. I've never seen anything I wouldn't buy. Stone fruit, strawberries, blueberries, greens, artichokes, flowers and so much more. One thing I really like is that the Rodriguez strawberry farmers are here. I've been buying strawberries from them for over 20 years at many different farmers markets. It just makes me happy. The Tuesday afternoon market is great for Concord. It offers so much to so many people in the community. read more

I love farmer's markets! This one is okay but since it's close to home I come here often. There's a Tuesday Morning one that goes on all year round... you can come here for lunch if you work in downtown Concord... but there's not that much to offer...3 stars for that one. I prefer coming to the Thursday night farmer's market that runs from April to October... that one has a lot more food to munch on. The vendors are always so friendly! There are a lot of fruit and vegetable vendors at both and you can get some great deals on great produce. At the night one, they have live music and it gets crowded quick with people in their lawn chairs enjoying the entertainment. 4 stars for that one. read more

Concord's evening Farmer's Markets are my absolute favorite farmer's markets. You have produce you can purchase or street food to enjoy with live performances. It's a great community gathering and also a cheap activity to do with family or friends. Just bring a few lawn chairs or picnic blankets. You can even bring your own picnic if you aren't interested in any of the vendors...the space is open to all. There is a parking garage a couple blocks down from the park with 5 levels. It fills up quick, so I would recommend getting there on time. Otherwise, parking might be a little tricky to find since the close off the entire square for vendor tables and vans. read more

I feel like I'm in the town square in some middle America town every time I come here. The place is packed on Thursdays. Half of the folks are lounging in their folding chairs listening to the band play while the other half are shuffling around to each stall trying to decide what to buy. The crowds can be a bit much sometimes so you have to know how to swoop in & make your selections quickly. The peaches & corn are amazing this time of year! I usually make my rounds to stock up on fruits & veggies then head on over to the row o' food stands. Here you will find Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, you name it. I check out all the stalls then inevitably make a bee line for the baked potato stand. These taters are to die for! You get an extra large potato slathered in butter, sour cream, bacon, green onions, cheese & jalapenos all for $5. It's all you need for dinner...that sucker will fill you up. Then I make my hubby carry all the bags while I scarf down my potato, carefully watching my step as I maneuver through the crowds. I can picture my potato ending up in someone's baby stroller someday. How sad would that be?? read more

This is definitely one of my favorite farmers markets. There are two free parking garages very close to the plaza and I love that the market is there both Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings. They have a wide selection of fresh foods to take home and also foods that can be purchased and eaten there. I usually go on Thursday nights and always start with a baked potato. They are amazing and inexpensive. I get mine with cheese and jalepenos but they have other toppings to choose from as well. There is also a stand that sells fresh breads. I was buying a baguette to go with a dip I was making and the guy told me that the baguettes were only going to last until the next day so he asked me take all of them. So I ended up with six baguettes for the price of two! This market is usually pretty crowded and parking can be a challenge. read more

I was enjoying a walk around the square after lunch and stumbled upon this farmer's market. Good selection of fruits and vegetables, a variety of food kiosks and to my great delight a fabulous orchid vendor with gorgeous healthy plants. I bought 3...it was too hard to choose just one. 3 beautiful orchid plants in top notch condition for $40. I have them grouped together in the living room as a focal piece. I'm definitely going back to add more to my collection. read more

The best farmers market in CoCo County imo. I've been to the farmers markets at the Pleasant Hill bart, Downtown Martinez, and Concord High. All were not priced well enough for me to buy any produce, ....just went and sampled the freebies. At Todos Santos, ....ohh I go to town! A must...bringing two or three very large reusable shopping bags. Because keeping track of plastic bags, of where you bought from what stand can get confusing! The homegrown/organic local produce at the Concord Todos Santos Farmers market, are typically the same exact vendors that go to these other locations to sell. The difference is that there are so many vendors at the Concord FM, that they price so competitively. If you go 30 minutes before they close, produce is all marked down to a $1/lb, or you can ask them if you can buy for a $1 a lb, or 3 for $5 on normally $2 each items. There are way more hot food vendors at this FM than any other as well. Although, not many unique ones I've seen like the Martinez, or Concord High. It's just usually your run of the mill, barbeque, falafal, baked potato, and crepe stands. I do like the other FMs where they will have more ethnic food, or gourmet type street foods. Overall, I will save my produce shopping to do it all at the Todos Santos FMs. Just sad that it's only for a few more weeks on Thursday evenings :(. (Tuesday afternoon FMs don't have as many vendors, and as good prices/deals). read more

I love the Tuesday and Thursday market! Great place for fresh produce, but not necessarily cheaper than the groceries. The best deals on Tuesdays: The lady closest to Wells Fargo, who adds your total loud & clear. Fast & precise too, so no guessing game. Her produce has been better & cheaper than the rest like my celery bunch at $1-1.25, and sweet/potatoes for $1/lb. For allergy sufferers, go the the Honey guy. Very friendly and helpful. He carries variety of local honeies. My daughter loves the honey sticks(even apple sticks) and we eat them while we are shopping. For oranges, Diaz carries the sweetest(& wine grapes in the summer). Now that my kids prefer tangerines, I get the $1/lb at the place that carry walnuts & tomatoes...one stop deal. And for my weekly snack, I buy two bags of homemade Gourmet Granola. African American lady (by the clock) makes her granolas, dairy free, wheat free, soy free, and salt free. It's so tasty, crunchy, and light. It's good for my family who has different allergies. Better option than chips in the car for a quick snack. I go to the Thursday night market to meet family and friends and to enjoy the music. 5th star reserved for bicycle riding, and more vendor options like wine, cheese, and nuts. :D Also, credit cards options. read more

I like to come to Farmer's Market on Tuesdays during lunch and Thursdays after work because they don't always have the same food vendors. There is a little bit of everything- gyros, chicken teriyaki, tri-tip, veggie burgers, tacos, even cheese zombies! There are vendors with desserts: funnel cakes, churros, crepes. And that's only 1/3 of the vendors. The rest have fresh fruit and veggies, locally grown flowers, kettle corn, pound cake, Sonoma cheese, you name it. Be sure to bring cash to pay the different vendors. Thursday night's there is usually a band playing, and since it's built around the park, it is family friendly. Added bonus, you can no longer smoke in and around Todos Santos. Score!! read more

Believe it or not, this was the closest Farmer's market to where I was staying. Which was 20 miles away. However, it did not disappoint. It's small enough that you can finish in an hour and it's big enough that you can buy everything from fruits, vegetables, kettle corn, wood fired pizza, german brats, greek food.... My brother in law pointed out the "corn" guy always has a line here. He sells only corn and sells them for $0.50 each. They come in white or yellow or if you want them mixed, he calls them "peaches and creme?" The hummus guy had good assortment of dips. Of course, we bought some but they will always push you to buy another and give you a dollar off. The produce here does seem fresher than what I've seen here in Southern California (not that it's not fresh here by all means). Prices are in line with most Farmer's markets. You can park at the indoor parking structure in the corner, there's even a Concord PD on the bottom floor. There's a small playground for the kids towards where the ready made foods are. Its nice they have something here for the kids, you can pretty much make a morning out of coming here as a whole family. read more

It is so nice to hit up a farmers market on a warm weekday evening. My weekends are pretty hectic so I don't get a chance to hit up many of the Saturday/Sunday markets. I swing by after work and take advantage of all the free samples and leave with my tummy full. They have what most farmers markets offer, but they also have entertainment of some evening. In addition to that they have cooking demonstrations. The local version of Emeril Lagasse shows all that are gathered how to prepare those seasonal items found at the market. I thought that was so neat. For some (ok me) that want to try new ways of preparing healthier foods, this is a nice feature. Once the demonstration is done they pass out samples of the finished product. There are lots of fresh items to explore, and remember buy local! read more

Since the Concord Farmers' Market has temporarily moved to Concord High, my family and I have visited almost every Tuesday! Each week we are impressed by how clean and respectful the vendors are of the COVID guidelines. They wear their masks and have signs indicating where to stand in line to allow for adequate spacing between customers. The only reason it is 4 stars is because there are noticeably fewer vendors than when it is located in Todos Santos. read more

I love the Concord farmers market especially Thursday nights when they have music too! For the concerts I love to grab some of the yummy goods offered. There are booths with homemade breads, cupcakes, kettle corn, bolani and more! They are always ever changing! Then they have some food booths you can grab dinner from to enjoy while listening to great music. Munch on tamales bbq and more options. Or pick one of the local places right around the square! Many food options within steps of the market. My favorite part of it all though is shopping for fresh fruits and veggies from local farms. This is how you do farm to fork right. We picked up some delicious white nectarines and small heirloom tomatoes for a blistered pasta! Fresh flowers sold too at great prices to decorate your home. Many great finds here. Tuesdays are great too but more so for shopping than entertainment. read more

Thursday Night Music and Market used to be such a fun place to meet friends, catch up, dance and get some great produce. Now it is just too crowded with no place to set up a chair or throw out a blanket unless you get there 2 hours early. My friends still save room for me, but there are so MANY people there now I get claustophobic. I find it too crowded to buy produce or even get through the crowd to the sidewalk to dance. It is so crowded now that there is no longer any leg room! Chairs get squeezed in front of you. For parking, skip the parking garages you will get stuck in one for 30-45 minutes and miss the music, just take bart or park there, its just 3 blocks away. On the plus side, the bands are great (evidenced by the crowds). So make an afternoon of it, get there a few hours early to put your chairs/blanket out and shop before the throngs of people arrive and you will probably enjoy it. Whether you return will depend on your feelings of large crowds. read more

I am so upset with myself for living under a rock for the first year I lived in Concord, and being completely oblivious to the Thursday afternoon/evening Music and Market thing they have going on in Todos Santos Plaza! I just recently discovered it, and now my daughter and I look forward to going each week. Aside from having tons of locally grown fresh produce at excellent prices, they have tons of other goodies as well (our favorites are the kettle corn stand and the zucchini bread guy). Last week I finally got to try the fish tacos from Cholita Linda, and now I can't wait to get more this Thursday. And there's so much more that I want to try (mostly the stand with all the pastries!) What makes this farmers market a little more special (in my opinion) is the atmosphere. It is such a great family setting, and (forgive me if this sounds super corny) but whenever I go there, it seems like all is right in the world, at least for the short time that I'm there. It's such a great place to unwind and enjoy a little music and food. If you're ever in the area on a Thursday afternoon, I'd highly suggest stopping by. read more
