India if you're reading this this is for you - i came in today and knew exactly what I wanted. I had very little time. I have a gift certificate. Despite my helping your store clerk digitally enter the certificate numbers for almost 7 minutes, it did not work. She called you for help... you also couldn't make it work. I notice you have all kinds of discounts (including 15% for a Yelp review lol) and 20% for online purchase and $10 just because. Because I was going to order this item online, and because this was taking forever, I wondered if you could honor the 20%. You said no. The system was still not working. Check out was going on 10 minutes, so I left. I then realize I left something in the store and I came back in to hear you guys talking about me on the phone - that I was "nice" until I asked for 20% off. I left because your clerk and your system weren't able to check me out. Very unprofessional! You've made a terrible impression. Why were you audibly speaking bad about a customer? Why is your checkout system broken? Not cool at all. read more

My love for Goldie's started during a weekend trip to Ventura in 2016. I bought a whole bunch of cool things. The salespeople told me there is one in Long Beach and I was like, "What???" I have since been a "regular" at Goldies on 4th. I have built and added to my wardrobe with all types of Goldie goodies. I moved to Long Beach in 2017, and Goldie's is within walking distance. (((LOVE))) I popped in a few days before the Covid-19 shut down and bought a few items. However, I see that Goldie's on 4th might be closed for good? There is blue paper covering the windows and a "Shop Goldie's Online" sign on the window. I will be hella sad if Goldie's is gone for good. Please say it isn't so. read more

Very cute store. Considering it's a boutique in a trendy/artsy neighborhood the prices are very reasonable. Jewelry is around $12-20 ish depending on the piece and it was ALL stuff I would happily wear. Clothing is in the $20-60 range. Only one person was working and she was clearly being pulled in a few different directions but was helpful and sweet nonetheless. I'll be back for sure when shopping for gifts or when I have some extra spending cash laying around!! read more

I discovered this wonderful shop recently after I had gone to the Assistance League Thirft Store. I found a beautiful flowing top on the sale rack and an even cuter top inside the store. Best store ever! They have a fantastic selection of clothes and accessories at an affordable price point. This cute store stole a piece of my heart with the prettiest dog print halter dress. I was also tempted to get a cat print one too but I controlled myself. They also have a sales section, including a rack outside where everything is under $20. Went yesterday with my friend and I spotted this really cute fringe bag that I fell in love with and I came back today to pick it up; I also browsed a little bit more and ended up buying the bag, plus a shirt fro the under $20 rack outside and a couple of rings. I have been searching for a store like this for I don't know how long. The clothing is sustainable, really cute, made in the United States, and get this...affordable! Dream come true! Goldies has been my favorite store for awhile now! They always have what I need, whether it is a cute cozy sweater or a birthday dress! Today I went in for a last minute NYE dress, for a prohibition era themed party, and the woman working was enthusiastic to help and even took the time to Google the eras style! Her name was Ashley and I can not thank her enough! She helped me find the perfect dress and the perfect accessories! Everytime I have come the employees have been extremely friendly and helpful. I really like the clothing and Alessandra is super friendly and helpful. As of now, I've decided that I'm only going to buy the jewelry because I bought a beautiful black chiffon blazer that had the entire left arm seam rip. I hadn't noticed a couple of loose threads when I bought it, and the first time I wore a couple of months later, a gaping hole ripped through it.. I would've chalked it up to an isolated incident, but I've also had a dress rip after wearing it three times and gently handwashing it and following directions. They have beautiful clothes, but I feel the boutique prices don't justify the Forever 21 quality. read more

I stopped in here about a month ago for the 4th Friday event on 4th street. It's a cute little boutique with decently priced clothing. Right when I walked in, I saw this beautiful mustard yellow jumper I had to have. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because one of women working repeatedly kept insisting that the yellow was NOT my color and didn't work well with my complexion. Had she mad one comment about it I probably would've let it go, but she said it like 3-4 times! I still bought it because it was an awesome jumper, but if it was someone else I'm sure they would've been offended and walked out! Just flat out bad salesmanship. Cutest little boutique on 4th street. I bought a dress here for an engagement photoshoot. The dress I originally wanted was not available at the Lb store. Stella really went above and beyond to make sure that their store in Fullerton could get the dress to the Long Beach store in such short notice.
