BUYER BEWARE!!! I paid for a hood and cowl painting on my car. Once I got my car back the windshield was cracked and the paint had imperfections in it. I was cursed out because I asked if they paint their cars outside (a hit dog will holler). I asked to see where they paint them. I was walked back there and they had the door to the paint room wide open being exposed to the outside air and pollutants. Prior to picking up the car the owner stated that they were buffing out any dirt, etc. When I got there they said the job was decent, then flipped and said the paint job was quality. The paint job was not professional and frankly something that I would expect from someone with no experience. My insurance company and lawyer have been contacted to help resolve this matter. My goal is to raise awareness that this make-shift business may not be legit and that there work is suspect at best. I was unable to find any insurance, license, or bond information. Nor was I able to find and business registered under "Goldie's Paint and Repair, 1455 W. Glenn St. Tucson, AZ 85705". See pictures for details and history. Update: 6_3_2021 -I asked for Goldie's insurance 3 times and they will not turn it over. They know they are at fault. -My insurance company sent an appraiser to review their work. Goldies does a good job and they're honest and fair with their pricing. We came in after a minor accident that only scratched up the paint on our front bumper. They took the entire bumper off and did the job right and didn't cut corners. The paint was blended perfectly and it still looks great three months later. We've also had them buff out very minor scratches, and over a year later, that looks great, too. Very solid work is done at Goldies. We didn't want to go through our insurance for this minor fix, and Goldies' pricing let us do that because they don't try to rip people off. Their price came in just under our deductible, which is extremely fair for having to remove the bumper to do the job. They were also very punctual with their estimated timeframe. We dropped the car off on Tuesday morning and had it back on Thursday night. All of the guys were very nice, too. They honestly made the entire process pretty pain-free and hassle-free. Oh, and they specialize in BMW's (they're basically the paint/body shop for BMW of Tucson), so it was easy for us to have peace of mind that they'd know everything about ours to do the best job possible. We'll definitely go back to Goldies, and we'll definitely recommend them to anyone that needs paint work done. read more

So, I don't know what happened to my car.. the back left bumper panel was popped out and I thought it was some sort of screw that was loose. I went into goldies and worked with Jenn. She actually pointed out to me more details around that panel that indicated extra damage and she recommended me to process it through my insurance (it could have possibly been a bit and run parking lot incident) I filed through insurance and expected a deductible of $500.00. The whole time my car was at Goldies, Jenn communicated back & forth with me, she said she would try to lower my deductible. In the end she was able to get extra damages covered through my insurance and I came out with a beautifully fixed car (2008 Lincoln Navigator) and a $0 deductible. I'm a full-time student and work 40 hr's per week, I couldn't have thanked her enough, she helped me out more than she'll ever know! I had brought my moms 2005 Tahoe Chevrolet a couple weeks before as well, due to a completely trashed front bumper. Jenn was able to order stock parts instead of the aftermarket parts the insurance originally wanted to pay for. Let's just say that my mom was thankful for Jenn going above and beyond to do that for her... considering this being the only memory she had of her passed boyfriend. Her Tahoe came out amazing, you can tell they pay attention to detail. I can definitely say any future repairs my car needs to undergo Will definitely be under the care of Goldies. I stopped in on my way through town because I had a check engine light on. I called in to let them know that I had been having the same problem with my Subaru passing other people at High rates of speed. When I spoke with Jeremy on the phone he told me to bring the car in and he take a look at it. It was the same problem after all - they reset the check engine light and sent me on my way. Jeremy and Buddy could not have been any nicer or welcoming. They didn't even charge me to reset the check engine light and do a diagnostic on my car. I have a 2021 Silverado painted in a pearl white the rear drivers side door had a 2 inch gouge in the paint all the way to the metal I was told the whole door would be painted so it would all match I then came to pick the truck up there was a 1ft by 1ft area painted that looked like a 7 year old try to blend when I asked the owner what he could see wrong with it his response was ya sorry it could have looked better!!! Better it's a 88,000 truck not a not a side by side so I'm saying all of that I would give this company 1 star just because of there staff is super nice and very helpful there body and paint crew I would not recommend you let them paint a matchbox toy very unhappy read more

Although the estimate was a little higher than others, I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Jennifer and decided to go with Goldies. The repairs and paint job were outstanding and my car was ready when promised. I'd give the body work an A. I also paid for an interior and exterior detailing for $250. The air vents and dash area look brand new which is amazing since my car is a 1997. The rubber around the sunroof was missed and I learned the window hadn't been opened so there was no opportunity to see what needed to be cleaned there. Chips in the paint were touched up. I was there to get a quote and to talk to Mike. I gentlemen drove his Duramax in and needed his truck looked at for coolant leaking from the rear of the engine. Mike got his flashlight and started looking and then the owner stated, "actually you're the second shop I've seen. The first said it was a blown head gasket and that I need a rebuild for $5500." Mike pokes his head out from under the hood and says, "Nope. Its a leaking upper radiator hose here in the rear. There's a pin hole spraying to the rear. You're looking at $60 and we'll replace the other hose and change the coolant." He had every chance to soak this gentlemen. Mike and Frank are as honest and knowledgeable as they get. We just purchased a 2006 Ford F350 6.0 diesel a little over a month ago. Right away we knew something just wasn't right with it.
