There was a gentleman working the golf section and at the time that I walked into the department, I was never greeted or anything. I purposely walked in front of him to look at a new sets of golf clubs, which I came in to buy also, and I left in frustration. I couldn't believe it, i was about to spend $800.00 on a new golf set but I guess I was invisible. Disappointing All of the other departments were great and I did purchase my other items.

My swing is a self-made disaster. But functional. Colin recognized this and was inclined to work with what was on the table. I asked Colin to take the time to fix the fundamental issues and he dove into the assignment headfirst. We worked on big fixes to big problems and there was real headway made by the end of our time together. I have SO MUCH WORK TO DO based on just these 45 minutes. But thats EXACTLY what I wanted and got from my lesson time. Thank you Colin. You're honest without being too brutal ;P

We walked into the Berwyn, PA Golf Galaxy location tonight at 7:20 pm to look for a new driver and…read moreputter for myself and a set of clubs for my fiancé. Also with the intention of buying a new Ogio bag for my clubs and small walking bags for both of us. To our shock, their "master fitter" not only refused to do a fitting "because it was too close to closing time", but wouldn't even schedule a fitting for us on another day. Instead, he told me to "go ahead and try to book a time on line". I get that we were there later in the evening, but to refuse to help with a fitting, direct us towards some clubs that would work for us or to even put in the effort to schedule a time for us to come back, blows my mind! Being in sales, if a potential customer came to me and wanted to buy several high value items, the last thing I would tell them is to go away and look it up online. Getting people through the door and ready to spend money is the whole reason stores spends millions on advertising every year. This guy took that opportunity and absolutely blew it! Not only losing revenue of a returning customer for the store, but also the opportunity to outfit a new golfer who needed everything from shoes, to gear, and a whole set of clubs. We would have spent at least $3,000- $4,000 this evening, probably more, had we been given the opportunity. Instead we spent about 20 minutes browsing around, picking out the Ogio bag, the Stealth Driver, the Ping putter, the Callaway set of irons we will now purchase from another retailer before driving the 40 minutes back to our house without spending a dime in that store. Maybe it's because I'm a woman that he didn't take my business seriously. Maybe he just didn't want to actually have to do his job. Maybe he was tired or lazy or just didn't give a care. I don't really care about the why. What I do care about is where I spend my and if that retailer values my business. Clearly this guy didn't want our business this evening. I hope he has the opportunity to see this and more importantly, I hope he works on commission.

Everyone is friendly. Never had any issues. On my last visit, we had dinner at the High Steaks Brewery which does not seem to have its own Yelp listing. I had the chicken strips and fries. Both were nicely fried and came hot. They brought me ranch dressing for dipping. Overall a fun place to gamble and have a nice bite to eat.

I was fitted for clubs with Corey and man I can't say enough good things about him and the process…read more I have been golfing for 8 years, self taught off youtube with dated clubs. This year I bit the bullet and got lessons and my instructor recommended Corey. I was skeptical at first as most amateur golfers are about being fitted for clubs. I am a 20 handicap with intentions to work at my game and get better this year. I was worried if getting fitted at this point would be pointless because my game is changing with my lessons. I told Corey where I was at with my game and what I had been working on with my instructor and he insured me that was not a problem. My first fitting I went in for irons and I could not hit the ball consistently to save my life. Corey was very patient with me and straight up told me I can sell you clubs today if your in a rush but I highly recommend coming back another day when your hitting the ball better. At first I was defeated by this as I wanted my clubs right then and there but I appreciated the fact he didn't throw thousand dollar clubs at me that I would regret buying. I came back a week later after working out some kinks and was hitting the ball much better. Corey fit me for cobra forged tec irons with a few personal modifications to the shafts and lie. I also was fitted for a new driver (ping g425 lft with custom shaft) the same day since we had some time after the irons. A few weeks later I decided I would also like to get. A hybrid with my new set to better my game out of the rough and came back to Corey. I typically never use a hybrid because I just don't know how to hit them well. Corey worked with me and even gave me some pointers on hitting the club better and I was fitted for a Titleist hybrid with a custom shaft as well as a new 3 wood. Needless to say this was an amazing experience that I am very happy I went through with. If your in the market for new clubs it's a no brainer to get fitted by a real professional who knows what they are doing. Big box stores just want to sell you clubs to get items off the shelves. Corey genuinely wanted me to have clubs I'd love and be using for the next 6-10 years that would stay with me as my game improves. I would recommend Corey to anyone looking for clubs no matter how good or bad your game is.
