terrible customer service! went by for a fitting was going to buy a new set of Irons (p790s) and a 56* & 60* wedges . salesman Steve set me up with a 7 iron and couldn't spare a second to watch 1 swing, after 15 minutes alone i was ready to take home my new irons just need to try the wedges. went looking for steve that was on the other side of the store having conversation with a co-worker when i asked if he could help me find a wedge was very rude and seemed like i was bothering him! mind you there was probably a total of 5 customers in the place. after this i decided to go elsewhere. and get the same price just better service read more

I travelled 40min from my house to buy a putter. An older guy attended me but he seemed sketchy. He looked at me like I couldn't afford anything there and im a waste of his time. he seemed unwilling to help me but seems like was forced to because its his job. I asked for a specific putter and upon testing and couple of outts to try i was quick to buy because i didnt like how he treated me and i needed the putter. I trusted them. on check out paid the amount ( mind you i shopped and spend a fortune. ) as soon as i got home i figured i got a different putter with an old used cover! So next morning I travelled again to replace it with what i liked. I was questioned and was trying to plea my self about what happened. Luckily they changed it to the ones i like. I spend twice the time and gas just for the the sales persons attitude and lack of professionalism. If you want to shop in this store make sure to double check your items prior getting out the store. Also attendants/sales clerk's are not there to help you they just love to talk to each other. Also i bought a shoes and nobody assisted me. So thats you pembroke golf galaxy. Shop at your own risk! I gave two stars since they replaced my putter after such deliberation. I would have rate 0 stars. read more

Great golf store and prices are reasonable. They have a great variety of top brand gear. They also have a range simulator to test out some clubs before you buy. I found the sim to be extremely helpful when trying to decide between a couple of drivers. Additionally in the front of the store they have a nice little putting green to tryout some putters which is perfect to get the feel of it. The staff is top notch and will assist you to find the perfect set for you game. There is also a PGA professional that teaches right in the store to perfect your game and take it to the next level. Overall you can be a total novice or even think your a pro, golf galaxy will help you find the perfect gear to raise your game. read more

If you are a golfer, like my husband is, you will absolutely love this store. We went there yesterday "just" to buy some gloves for this weekend and it took for ever to get him out. It's like a candy store for kids...lol! While looking for a while thru different types and makes of golf gloves, hubby was growing anxy. Then Matt, one of the young sales people came over to help him out. Matt was fantastic, a very nice, polite and well informed 18yr old who was very eager and happy to assist my husband in finding the glove with the perfect fit for him. And you know what? HE DID!!! and he was so happy that he had helped. This is a great store for you golfers out there to find that one item you need or to even fulfill ALL of your golf purchases. They have from gloves to balls, to clubs and clothing and even club fitting and grip changing. All in all, at great experience and Matt made it even better. My refusal to accept delivery of a $32.84 hat so badly packed that the box was crushed finally, after several emails to the company, yielded a refund of $26.49. Golf Galaxy is keeping $6.35 for the poor shipping and handling which prompted the refusal of the package? I did receive almost daily sales emails from Golf Galaxy, but not one single email about the item I returned. Nothing. Not even an email that they had finally issued a partial refund; no explanation for not issuing a refund in full. Terrible way to run a business. read more

I'd give this place less if i could. Terrible customer service. I was looking at irons today and no one willing to help me out. So I grabbed an iron to demo off the rack and swung it once. The employee began to talk to me like I was a child telling me I couldn't touch those without assistance. I came back later on to see a different iron set and as i walk to the simulator to demo the iron, the employee speed walks and cuts me off to turn the machine off. I tell him I want to test an iron and he tells me I need to come back Tuesday when they open back up. They had 40 minutes till close. I wanted to hit 5 balls. Terrible service. read more

I usually stay out of golf stores. They are usually not very helpful and expensive. The staff is friendly here, and the prices are quite good for the best equipment. And, they have their own testing area. When you want to see the difference between two drivers, try them out, hit away and see which is more comfortable and more accurate for you. (They also give lessons) I spent more than 4 hours over two days getting fitted for a set of clubs. Trying different lofts, hybrids, etc. This was more than assistance, this was custom fitting. I know where to go for great golf equipment that I can be confident with. read more

Laurie (The Terrible) gave me the 3rd degree-then wanted extra money FOR THE EXACT SAME SHIRT!!! So FREAKING NASTY!! Please put on a smile and fake it until you get home!! Went there to buy a new set of irons. One guy near the irons putting lables or inventorying or something. Acted like I was bothering him. Said it would cost $50 for seeing what I needed and to hit some balls. He did say if I bought TODAY they would credit me towards the clubs. 3 or 4 other people standing in front near registers munching on something. All could have cared less. They must have thought I didn't have any $. They were wrong - I went down the street to Dick's, got a free evaluation with no pressure and spent $800 for new clubs. No other way to describe the service here but horrible. They really couldn't give two $#|+~ if you buy here or not. First I had to walk the entire store looking for employees and didn't know who they were since they don't have uniforms. When I asked who worked here, the cashier gave me an attitude. When I approached one of the men she slightly motioned toward, I was promptly dismissed. When I finally got assistance, all my inquiries were met with annoyed facial and body language. When I challenged his response and asked him to investigate, he went to take care of another customer. I called another store to confirm my suspicion and when he returned and advised me that no other store had it, I responded that I just spoke with another store and they kindly checked and did state they had it. My 17 year old daughter who lives in France was playing in the Dixie Amateur. She lost the head of one of her wedges on a Sunday morning and she called to see if they could glue it back on. At 10:30 they said that it wouldn't be a problem, but when she got there later, they couldn't do it because they had other repairs. My daughter paid a Uber there and back, for nothing. I find that they were not at all serious, especially when she tried to explain that she was playing a very important tournament the next day. Needless to say, she had to play without a wedge. They lost my business. I was in the women's department, trying out a few clubs, not having been approached by any sales person yet...and I was told to move aside by a salesman, who had a customer interested in being fitted for a set.
