I am still a loyal customer and frequent the store at least 2-3 times a week ! The guys at the store are super friendly and committed to helping the game and always look after me when I need it ! Bill the GM is the most knowledgeable and is the master fitter (the best in town) at EW and you need to go see him if your buying clubs ! The selection is the best and always have the newest products in golf. I went to this store on Dec. 29th looking for a present for my husband and my father in law. I didn't know what to get so I asked one of the sales associates, Lily, to help me. She took the time to help me and gave me some really good suggestions on what to get. My putter broke in the middle of a round. I drove up to Edwin Watts Golf intending to replace it with the current model of the same putter. Ian Lecraw assisted me immediately and showed me 2 options. After quite some time I decided on one then asked if Scotty Cameron made one that was comparable. After trying it I decided to purchase the Scotty. At no time did Ian ever push me to buy a more expensive putter. He was very knowledgeable about the differences, informative, but never pushy. This is why it pays to go to a golf store where the employees have knowledge of the equipment and don't just sell-they can actually inform you. I highly recommend this Edwin Watts. They have never disappointed me in the many years of shopping there. read more

This place gets a one star for service. I went in with my son to buy a driver. There was one customer there when we arrived with at least 4 employees. My son wanted to demo a few so he asked an employee who told him it would be a few minutes. We waited...and waited... 45 mins later a group of guys walk in and go straight to simulation booth with an employee and start demoing. I asked another employee do you need an appt to demo which I was told no. I then explained we had been waiting over 45 min, he did looked confused as to what to say and said he would check that it could be a few more minutes. At this point we were there almost an hour so we left. Besides the group of guys who walked in 5 mins before we left ,only 1 customer was in the store the whole time .We will not give this place our business. read more

We were looking to buy a new golf club set for my mom, who is an experienced golfer, so she wanted to test a few clubs first. Paddy w. , who was "helping" us seemed almost annoyed that she didnt just buy the set he recommended within 1 minute. He was rude, impatient and arrogant considering we ended up spending $1200 at this store. the selection is good however we were definitely not happy about the service. These other reviews saying that the staff is friendly and patient we absolutely cannot agree with. Even the guy at the cashier checking us out said neither hello nor thank you. I went in to see about a new hybrid and possibly picking up a used one to try out the Cobras. First of all forget about getting anyone to help you. They just look at you like you're from another planet. When I checked the used clubs I was in shock. A beat up F8 was $10 less than a new one. Their prices were unbelievably high. This isn't one of their largest stores but you can find just about every top brand of golf equipment. Their staff is very knowledgable and helpful and the prices are pretty much the same as the other golf stores. The do have demo days and occassional sales on last year's equipment. You can join their golf club for other benefits. They have a nice catalog that you'll receive in the mail once you shop here. In other words, I usually go here if I'm looking for a specific club or the best selection of different clubs. If I'm looking for the best price, then there are other stores. read more

Went in to buy a new driver recently and Paddy helped me out in the simulator so I could get a feel for it. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about spin rates and launch angles and setting the driver up the best way for my swing, and even recommended what kind of ball I should be playing that would be best for my game.
