I came into a heavily packed store and was greeted immediately. They ran to me like it was an NFL 40 yard dash combine and assisted me with my product questions and recommended a product based on my desires. They were extremely knowledgable and friendly. Selection has been a bit slim picking on some accessories this past year or so, but still fairly decent and products are available at prices that'll fit most budgets on clubs/club sets. Poor selection of women's equipment, literally a 10x10 area with limited individual club selection but mostly sh1tty/cheap sets. Also the staff couldn't be bothered to help me. I was pointed to the women's section and was told I was unable to try it out because all the bays were booked...not a single bay was in use. Also have to point out that the MEN in the store were getting waited on hand and foot. No one came over to see if I needed help, etc. read more

This was my very first time in any Golf Galaxy. There was plenty of parking up front. The store is average sized with plenty of equipment and gear. It kind of reminded me of a Unique Thrift Store. I didn't get greeted once. I was in the store for about an hour. Not one person spoke to me. There were a few salesmen walking around but they didn't even bother to ask if I needed help or had questions. Had they would've asked me those simple questions I probably would've purchased a lot more. I have no knowledge when it comes to Golf. I didn't know what brands were good or what basics one needed to get started with golf. I am one who loves great customer service and I was not impressed at all. There were lots of men in the store but they were all chatting with one another or swinging in the back. When I went to check out the gentleman at the register then decides to ask if I found everything I was looking for or had any questions. Clearly I do not need help anymore I am at the register ready to pay. where was the help when I was walking around the store for an hour looking like a lost dog. I WILL NEVER purchase another item from Golf Galaxy. I was going to purchase a full set of women's clubs and there were only 5 choices in the entire store. The staff was rude and even laughed at me behind my back. Women golf too and deserve to be treated with respect. I ordered a driver online which arrived dented in the mail, and also with a hybrid head cover. I took it to my local Golf Galaxy in Plymouth Mn and not only did they have it in stock but I was quickly taken care of with a smile and great customer service. This was by far the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Me and a buddy spent over an hour and a half inside of the store and we're not once asked if we needed any help. It wasn't until we approached them for help only to be laughed at after asking a question and walking away from the (possibly manager) and the cashier who himself could not even operate the register. My buddy was very interested in spending good money to buy a brand new Taylormade Sim and wanted to test it out. The employee rolled his eyes when we asked and said "sure" and then proceeded to breathe down his neck while he hit and told him "don't break the club". Also, he failed to mention all of the tees were broken so we were basically hitting it off the deck. The driver itself was great and I decided to also purchase one. The employee only grabbed one free head cover and tool that comes with it and as we got to the checkout was visibly upset that he needed to go grab another one for mine as well. He came back and threw the bag on the counter and walked away without saying a word. We also had tried on at least 5 pairs of shoes if not more and were never once asked if we needed help as the employees stood by the register talking. Great store with awesome products at good prices that was COMPLETELY ruined and we will NEVER be going back to this location. As someone who is newer to golf, this is the exact reason why people don't get into the sport. Side note: we truly were looking to spend hundreds of dollars while other people were in groups ripping shots off the tee with different clubs probably not looking to spend a dime. A bad situation turned worse. I went through a "custom" fitting back at the end of March. The gentleman that helped me was very attentive and had me try many different clubs and adjustments. The pro (Lynn?) stopped by for about 30 seconds with a small amount of input I found the one I liked and $700 later I was out the door. Fast forward to now, my car was broken into and all my clubs were stolen. You can imagine the feeling. So with my head hung low I went back to Golf Galaxy in Plymouth (why wouldn't I?) I chose 2 different sets to try as my original set is discontinued and cannot be custom ordered. I tried them out and really like the way one felt. (The pro Lynn(?) was wandering around and never stopped by with any input) When I looked down I realized the salesman grabbed the wrong club set I asked for. Mistakes happen no big deal right? He then said "Let me check the computer quick" went over to the desk, and started helping another customer! I wandered over to the club display again. I was the ONLY one over there. The pro walked by twice and never stopped to ask me if I needed help. After the second time he breezed by I watched what he was doing. All he was doing was walking back and forth from the back corner of the store to make him appear busy. I was severely disappointed and walked out of the store. I guess the $1500 I was about to spend on an entire new set of clubs wasn't very important to him. I will take my golf business elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service. I was wrongly charged for a repair on a club that was under warranty, it took several weeks and multiple phone calls to get my money back. Now, a month later, my club is just finally in the mail being sent back to me (supposedly). I was told it had been repaired and shipped out nearly two weeks ago even though that was not true. Definitely will not be a returning customer. read more
