I was in the shop for about 20 minutes. During that time a man hunched over the counter never took his eyes off his phone and made any form of contact with me. 3 other customers came in and out along side me with no assistance offered. A lot of their gear is dated, the entire place is dusty, including the workers. Parking is tough to come by because there are popular shops nearby. The only thing I saw with a price tag on it were old new hats, so hard to say if there is anything of value here. read more

Music City golf is a top notch shop with a good array of equipment, apparel and most of all some helpful staff that are not pushy or salesy. In a city where there are surprisingly few places you can purchase a set of clubs and/or balls this shop is the oasis in the middle of the dozen or so courses we have in the 615. If you're in the market for some new clubs, you're in luck as they have a putting green as well as an area where you can hit balls into a net to test out that new equipment options. Personally I found their consignment section, which has slightly used clubs you can purchase, to be of great value. I tested out a pair of (pre-owned) 52° wedges and purchased one for a very reasonable price. As for what exactly they have on the showroom floor (most big brands as well as some high end names), check out their website and/or Instagram. When it's time to update your existing gear, the shop has the tools to fix your sticks or upgrade your style, too. Personally I have had all my irons re-gripped here and they were helpful and picking out which brand & model worked best for my clubs. Additionally they dissuaded me from revisions that I didn't need for my clubs which was totally appreciated. Solid place. Get in there and get your game up. read more

Hands down my favorite golf store! The owners are very knowledgeable and respectful. I've never felt like I am getting conned into buying something I don't need. I am new to golf and the fitting process has completely changed my game. Eric even gave me some pointers to try out on the course and he knows what he's talking about!! I love supporting small businesses even if it means waiting an extra day for quality service and products. Make an appointment and get fitted or go in and buy some balls. I recently did a fitting with Music City Golf and was great. They took their time and explained the differences in the clubs, shafts, and building process of the clubs I was interested in. They did not try to upsell me on stuff I did not need, and did a great job fine-tuning to get a good match for me. They had good unbiased opinions on the two different brands I was between, and after several modifications we found a good match. I would highly recommend anyone looking to do a fitting to check these guys out. read more

Cool store with a solid selection of equipment. Owners seemed like nice guys but unorganized and lazy. Random clubs lying all over the place. I came in a week before I was leaving for a significant competitive golf tournament because one of my clubs had just broken and I needed it fixed before I left. They assured me that they would be able to get he job done with a couple days to spare even though they needed to order a necessary component that they didn't currently have in stock. I asked if they could give me a call when it was done and the guy laughed at me saying that he isn't organized enough to be able to do that. Atleast he was honest I guess. Anyways, I came in the next few days and each day they had a reason why the process of getting the part and the club fixed had to be pushed back a day and another and another eventually leading to me having to go to my tournament without what I needed. On top of this I had some extensions put in clubs that were done in a timely manner but one of them came loose so I had to bring it back in to be fixed. I completely understand that things happen and maybe this was just an isolated incident but not once did they apologize or show any signs of urgency to help me out when I had a specific time constraint even after they knew my situation and accepted the task. They didn't seem to care one bit and that bothered me enough that I won't be bringing my business back read more

Okay, I had almost given up on my journey to find petite clubs. I had called Callaway customer service who suggested eBay because so much was out of stock with little hope of getting anything back in stock. Then after a suggestion from an employee at Dick's I called Music City Golf and spoke with Kevin. Later found out he is the owner. He gave me the best news ...he had one last set of short Callaway Reva clubs. He promptly put them on hold for me, and I arrived that same afternoon to give them a whirl. The insane thing is they were still too tall. lol journey of a short person. But Kevin was great and said we can cut those down and reapply the grips no problem. He made this petite lady happy! The clubs were ready the following day and all in time for my birthday . I highly recommend this small business! I was planning on going into Music City Golf and buying a new driver and 3 wood because I wanted to support a local business. I'm an experienced golfer but I don't know what equipment would be best for my swing style. I came in after work, asked where the used clubs section was and browsed, but like I said I didn't know what I needed/wanted. The salesperson was talking to what seemed to be his friend about god knows what the entire time I was in the store. I was the only customer in the store for the entire time I was there which was about 30 minutes. Throughout that 30 minutes, not once did the salesperson ask if I needed help. I kept waiting and waiting to see if he would break out of his conversation and assist me but never did. I even browsed sections that I didn't even want to buy anything in throughout the store just to see if he would say anything to me, nothing. Instead of handing this guy a sale I decided to just walk out and not reward this very poor customer service. I will not be shopping at Music City Golf again, unless they reach out to me and apologize. read more

I went into this store on a Saturday because I had heard that this was a REAL golf store and the folks there could really fit you for clubs. I was in the market for a new driver and had never had one fitted to me so here I go to Music City Golf. I walked into the store (was the only customer in there) and browsed around for a few minutes, after a few a picked up 3 drivers and hit each one of them about 5 times in the hitting bay. Meanwhile, there were 3 people working in the store, all 3 standing at the counter playing with there phones and talking to one another. I figured after being in the store for over 30 minutes and hitting over 15 balls with the drivers I had chosen......and still no one has even acknowledged the fact that I am there, not even a hello, how are you today. They didn't want my business. read more
