It is a very well kept course with very highly maintained greens that you can tell is a definite gem compared to the other courses around the area and is very well priced for the yardage seeing how normally short nine holers would be the same price. The gold attendant was a little rude when we were there when we walked on without calling to reserve on a Friday and we think he just was doing it more because he was annoyed at us but other than that little hiccup, definitely check this little place out. I also lived that other golfers were not right on top of us giving amateurs like me the heeby jeebies with people watching my hook or slice. Again check it out and clubhouse is great and wide open overlooking the 10th and the 18th holes.

However, if you're looking for a quiet place to relax in the sun you won't find it here. The children are abundant and have pretty much zero regard for those around them. They bring trash into the pool (candy wrappers, bandaids, etc.), spray people with water guns or pool noodles even away from the pool, will jump over or even onto unsuspecting pool goers, and are naturally quite loud. Though this is of course not the fault of the establishment, I think it's important for patrons to know before coming for a day in the pool. The staff checks the chlorine/chemical levels in the pool and hot tub every couple hours to maintain cleanliness and are generally very kind and helpful The poolside restaurant is expensive but that's to be expected for a country club -- drinks are delicious and adequately strong with friendly bar tenders/cooks. I have found that there is plenty of parking, seating, and towels available. Enjoy your time, but be wary of the little ones!

This included the cart that they went in. Great course the greens are top notch and in beautiful condition. There was a sign I read when we drove up " Maine law you are prohibited to take your own alcoholic beverages in your cart". On that note I am glad we live in Florida. They paid their fees and are allowed to take the cart over to the car to get their clubs. Some courses back home this isn't the case. By far this is more convenient and user friendly. They have great facilities on site to get drinks and food. As well as clean rest rooms. On the course itself they have a restroom around the third hole. It would probably make more sense further down. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. The other golfers were very nice as well. However the only other women there worked in the restaurant. So ladies if you are looking are where all the men are you can look for them here.

A lot of attention and work has taken place this Spring. The bunkers have been revitalized, the fairways widened, and the grass regularly mowed. Kudos to the maintenance team. The course has elevation changes and the terrain challenges even the consistent ball strikers. Walking the front nine is easy while the back nine will give your legs a work out. A fun layout though. Sam, the new PGA golf pro, is helpful and friendly. The food and beverage service, provided by the Long Reach Kitchen and Catering company is excellent. Their staff is also friendly and helpful, the menu is varied, and their drink menu is fun. All and all, a great local golf course. The PGA may never play at the Bath Golf Club but it is a fun place. I participated in a charity tournament here this weekend, which was also the first time I have played here in a few years. As before, I was impressed with the course layout and the condition of the greens, etc. even considering the recent dry weather. I find the course challenging for me but not so overwhelming that it ceases to be fun. My impression is that it provides enough challenges to the better golfers to keep them interested as well.
