We brought 6 of our grandchildren here last Saturday afternoon and while the workers were very nice but there was an ongoing problem throughout the 2 hours we played. No one is monitoring the courses. And it was an almost constant problem that there's people just wondering around walking on our courses WHILE we were playing! It's like they were just oblivious and like they were strolling through a park. Most seemed to be visiting at a birthday party booked there. But it was adults with kids just walking on peoples courses while they're hitting their balls. The other problem that happened throughout our time there are groups of people who are just jumping around any available holes and playing. They were crossing over and playing all courses, just randomly playing wherever there was an opening. Despite all of the signs posted, no one is reading them or following them. This can all be remedied by having one employee on each of the three courses, monitoring it and stopping the issues. They're charging a lot to play there. Cost almost $100 for 2 hrs to play one course. So I think at these prices, management can afford to hire 3 people to staff each of the 3 courses. Problems will be solved. I'm not sure at this point if I could recommend coming here. Not sure if we'll go back. The grandkids did have fun, and it was clean and we felt safe the whole time. But the complete lack of any workers managing the courses was frustrating. read more

Came here with a group of 7 for a birthday party round of golf. We hung out at the arcade for a bit to let the kids play some games. They have air hockey and cool games like at Dave and busters or Chuck E. Cheese. You can load a card and all your tickets get loaded so you don't have to carry them around. The course is outside so watch the weather. It was 97 degrees today so it was hard to enjoy the game after about 20 minutes. The course is nice and has fun themes. It is pretty slow moving especially if you get behind a large crowd with a lot of kids. We didn't have to interact with any staff except when we purchased our club and balls. Great place to bring the family for some fun! Family night on mondays is a great value ($7.50 pp, 1 course), must purchase your tickets online before heading there. When you enter you just check-in at the counter and you are ready to start having fun! You got 2 18-hole courses to choose from. My boys are ages 12 and 5 and they both had a great time, they want to come back again. They also have an arcade and bumper cars. As for snacks they offer a variety at the counter but these really yummy, thick shakes are a must try.... We ordered the Rice Krispies freeze, it comes overflowing in large cup. Miniature golf during a time like this is a great activity to get the whole family outside for some fresh air! You can make reservations and pay online for a time slot. When you arrive just show the cashier your email that has a barcode to scan for your booked time. $12 for kids and $13 for adults. My 5 year old son had a blast! We have a long weekend for Christmas and getting dressed outside to putt a few balls is what we needed. It's a perfect time between 4-6pm enough light outside and when it gets dark you can see the beautiful christmas lights displayed throughout the course. They wipe down the golf clubs before handing them to you and restrooms inside were clean. The arcade is closed. Definitely book some fun time outside if you've been getting cabin fever. read more

We've visited this location before, always had a great time. This time we went, only the mini golf area was open. We reserved a tee time online for 10:30am. Not sure what difference that made in terms of crowd control. There were still many people that arrived after us, and we had to wait a bit for the people before us to finish the hole before proceeding. The wait wasn't bad, but I'm not sure that it's less people than usual. But the nature of mini golf makes it possible to stay 6 ft apart, outdoors. So I think the risk was acceptable. MINI GOLF: I have to admit this place is fun for kids and for adults because adults can play mini golf too. The mini golf has at least 2 courses, but you need to pay extra to do more than one course as the sign says. They have different heights of golf clubs so small kids and adults can play. Be sure to check the club they give you because some of them are crooked. Balls come out of this white wooden box when you scan your ticket. We didn't get a pencil with the scorecard, but good thing I had a pen! The obstacles are fun with some holes that you hit the ball into a saloon door or a tree trunk, over a water bridge, etc. Buy the package deal if you have at least 4 people in your group for a cheaper rate. GAMES: inside there are video arcade games and air hockey. Laser tag area looks like black light laser tag, but I have yet to try it here. The games take tokens. There is a private room for birthday parties and last time I was here there were multiple parties going on. Lots of kids everywhere. FOOD: well it's your eh it's edible pizza and carnival type food served here. Nothing gourmet, but it's food the kids like. OVERALL: parking lot is big. It's fun and the kids love it here. Adults can play mini golf and have a little fun too. Good for kids birthday parties. Not too big of a place so probably won't lose your kids. Brief elaboration - start with the new Dish Dash which is different in its vibe from the parent across the water but just as good in my belly. Start with that as a foundational element, then build on that solid foundation with a drive towards the hills. At the base, snuggled almost hidden on the east side of the freeway, is the activity candystore for kids of all ages. Arcade, air hockey, multiple miniature golf courses ... laser tag. To think that when I was a boy we played Rock and in the end there were observable differences between the winner and loser. I never played laser tag before. My maidenhead is no more. I had mixed emulsions playing Group with the sweet family comprised of teeny minions and a medium-sized one and the little ones were all stern Baby Gs that would come out of nowhere and kill you without so much as a batted eyeball. By the time they're growed I'll be retired in Thailand so I'm feeling a little safer from the ice water that clearly flowed in their tiny veins. I ruled mini golf like a turtle piled on other turtles. I was schooled in the laser room. Schooled hard. The clientele were all wearing smiles, the facility was clean and in good shape. I didn't sample the arcade but it looked as if there was a decent offering for those bent in that direction. This is good clean fun, my friends, a taste of what we need more of. I Went lastnight with my family I really wanted a rice Krispy shake it was 8:15 the gentleman told the other cashier to make the shake he passed by and said we're not making food anymore . From my understanding they stop making food an hour before closing which was at 9 because golfland would of been closed at 10 . Then he was coughing a lot and his spit went on my arm a couple of times . He then said rudely "if you want to ice cream real bad , go to baskin robins " the customer service was horrible I had a horrible experience and my stepdaughter got shocked as well and she was crying . We called the doctor luckily we didn't have to go to the hospital . At 10:05 we noticed that the lights were turning off so we tried to get out of the park. My family and I got stuck in for like around 15 minutes until my boyfriend found a way to jump the fence. We saw light coming from the inside arcade and herd people talking but even what we knock on the door they didn't open. I talk to the manager the next day and he told me that this was not the first time this guy locks up people in. They were just laughing at me when I told them. read more

Milpitas golfland is awesome. Since Malibu went down this is the only mini golf place in the greater Bay Area that has three courses. The courses are big, generally well maintained (except for some leaves and minor tears), and the whole place feels very green and immersive. They don't have real grass like Sunnyvale but they do have lots of other plants and running water that give it a distinctly "real" vibe. Having three courses gives this location the most re-play-ability of all the golfland's. Positives: clean bathrooms, nice employees, lots of parking, liquor store next door, and a great arcade. The arcade has classic games like PAC MAN and skee-ball as well as new shooting games like Terminator Salvation and new ticket games like Fruit Ninja/Doodle Jump. Negatives: the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is sometimes it gets crowded and when it does they only have one line for EVERYTHING. Golf, laser tag, a soda, pizza - whatever it may be there is only one line. It can get kinda ridic and take too long. Overall this is a great place and you should go. Expansive rolling hills and hours worth of killer mini golf. read more

I went at night and honestly, extra points for that. It was beautiful. The castle that's there is all lit up and gorgeous. The courses are fun, and it's a good place to be with your friends. It's not too pricey and is a cheap activity with nice themes. I didn't get a chance to go in the arcade but honestly I dont think I needed to, playing all the courses in the 8 person group I was in would take several hours to complete. If I could give it zero stars I would. Do not recommend for an event or golf in general. I came here for a event on Saturday, 7/30 between the hours of 1:30pm-5pm. Let me say there were no signs pointing to where guest were supposed to be go. We check in at the counter and the worker there indicated that sorry theres no reservations under that name and after calling our hosts to see if were were at the right place or had the correct date we were then informed that she booked for a group golf not a party which the employee flat out lied to cover her butt. It only goes downhill from that. First, the reservation was supposed to be outside were you know we can enjoy the watching the guest golf buy apparently they overbook/over saw the reservation and said that sorry cannot accommodate you because another party is there before you guys. Then they make an excuse of okay well we will put you in the party room it bigger which by the way was unsupervised as you can see people not part of the party walk in and out of the room. Please keep in mind that we had to designate someone to watch the room due to the fact gifts and other valuable belonging were in the room. Finally, at about 3pm we were able to hit the course but felt rush because food was to be served at 3:30pm which miraculous waa on time. A side note prior to the food at 2:45pm I went up to the counter to order an 2 icee and some mozzarella sticks to hold us over until food bit was informed that they are not serving "fried food" which is basically everything on the menu. Whatever we got the Icee and left. Secondly, let me talk about there maintenance course 1 the very first hole the balls were getting stuck literally everyone balls in our party was getting stuck so we had to go back to the room to grab another unused ball instead of waiting in line to get issued one. Many props on the differrent courses were not functioning correctly as the doors were not opening/closing. The water was so disgusting that we told the kids to just bypass that hole or toss it over the water because that a disease waiting to happen the ball fell into the water and the kids picking it up. Lastly, on my way out I wanted a shake and went up to the counter to order one and was told " we're not making shakes right now" not even an apology of why they were making shakes until I told the worker this is ridiculous how is that possible is when the worker went to maybe a lead or someone and was informed they are making shakes and that it will be a few minutes. Literally waited and Literally not like the shake I got another golfland as it was filled half way. For anyone going there please be warned that don't waste your money here as they do not care from maintenance of the park or throwing an event. There were no sincere apologies on their end from the beginning of losing a reservation and not accommodating at any point. I don't know how this place is still in business. From corporate to managers to employees you do not have life skills if you just overlook everything and brush it under the rug. You definitely will not get anymore of my business. read more

Golfland, what can I say? It's a great place to kill time with a bunch of friends. If you've never been here or haven't gone for a long time, it really is a ton of fun. This Golfland is awesome cause it has 3 different routes you can through.Games for adults are $15 a person now, which aint bad. The only con I see about this place is how some of the holes are kinda recycled but slightly different, it makes it really boring after a while, but like I said very fun if you haven't gone before or in a long time. read more

Came here to golf during SIP for the first time. Based on the website I thought there would be a side gate entrance, but there isn't. You must wear a mask and enter the main building to pay for the golf at the register where the arcade is. Arcade, bumper cars, and laser tag was closed. Mini golf felt safe enough with the natural distancing and the grounds seemed pretty well kept. Ordered some fries and an icee while we were there and it all was just fine. Night golfing is the way to go! Typically I'm not the type to randomly go putt putt on a weekday night; however, my boyfriend and I decided to compete against each other to celebrate our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised by several things: 1) I didn't know Golfland had special deals on Monday nights. When they told me the total was $9.98, I thought it was per per person. To my surprise, it was for both of us! Come after 5pm on Monday to get a special discount of $4.99/person. 2) Weekday nights are far less crowded! Is the Hole #14 giving you trouble? No problem, just take the next half hour to get it in! 3) The nighttime views are gorgeous, and Golfland is pretty well lit during nighttime. See pics below. There are plenty of parking spaces in the lot next to the Golfland building. They also have an indoor arcade, bumper cars, and laser tags if you want to hang around before/after mini-golfing. My son wanted to hold his 13th birthday party here and it was the perfect location. They got an hour to play mini golf, pizza (and I ordered snacks for the parents), cupcakes (they were good), and then bumper cars, laser tag and finally each child got a card to play in the arcade. We went on a Friday evening and it was very quiet so the kids really didn't have to worry about little ones or older teens bothering them. The party manager was very kind, very helpful and responsive. All of the boys and the parents had just a wonderful time. We'll definitely come back here again. read more

Because I too was looking and looking and looking for a reasonably priced place that wasn't too uptight and super duper friendly. Golfland was a hit. The food was great ,we order a fresh fruit tray and it was exactly that ,super fresh in fact. The samosas were delicious and the kids loved the pizza. We had a birthday party for my 5yo grandson and he thoroughly enjoyed it so did his mom. Stress free and everyone was happy including our party host he was great. A quick Trip for my son birthday outing, turned out to being our new favorite spot for the kids. I've driven past this location many times and I've always told myself we should stop by. When looking at it I always assumed it was only a golfing area but to my amazement there was a lot more to offer. I am sad that I never looked online to see what Golfland had to offer. I always told myself when my kids get older this would be a place I would take them to play miniature golf. It was my son's birthday and we figured this would be the perfect place to spend the afternoon. I didn't think they would be much for my little girls to do but they were not bored for a minute. We bought tickets for all three attractions, yes it was a little pricy but it was for golf, bumper cars, and laser tag. Let's not forget that they even have a full arcade which you can buy a card to play unlimited games. Not included in the package. Yes there is a catch to the arcade if you purchase the unlimited one hour card. You will not be able to cash on prizes, but your kids will not go sad as they will be able to still go home with a small prize that is included in the unlimited card. All 4 went home with candy and a little toys so it was a plus. The golfing area was clean well-kept and pretty well lit as it got dark on us. Since I could not managed to keep my kids to follow the flow of the miniature golf routes they did explore different areas which they found exciting. Keeping in mind it was not a busy night. As for the bumper cars,there is a height requirement thank God my little girls were able to make it if not I would've had two sad little girls were looking forward to the bumper cars. My kids had a blast in laser tag it was the six of us and two other people joined us. At first we only played amongst our self but then it became competitive the kids enjoyed it. It did get pretty warm in the room but keeping in mind we were running around. There also is a food court and sitting area it was well-kept and clean. The staff and employees at Golfland we're friendly and helpful as this was my first time I did not know the process nor did I know what would be an ideal package to purchase. Staff did a great job in directing and making sure we knew what to do. We did return a week later because the kids had so much fun. Not a bad place to take your kid.. some fun in the sun outside if you want to play a round or two of mini golf or remain indoors to play arcade games or games that spit out tickets. I would not recommend the ticket awarded games though because the prizes are sub par but if your kid truly enjoy the games then I guess, "What the hell, why not then?" I spent $30 on x amount of tokens.. over 450 tickets won and the good thing that came out of the experience was that I won the Red Angry Bird from, "The claw" (mimicking the aliens from Toy Story) and my Daughter also won something from Angry Birds as well from the same claw machine. Parking has never been an issue here for me. The restrooms are actually very clean. I have never dined here so I can't comment on the food. Note: you can get tokens from the machine (cash only) or you can go to the food stand area and get your tokens using your Visa/MC which I find extremely convenient. read more

What an amazing team! The manager (young man in all black behind the concession stand) was speaking to his team with so much respect and kindness. He was also training someone else while taking food orders. I mentioned to them that a food order of mine was messed up and they immediately apologized and made me a fresh order. The guy who was in control of the bumper carts (tray?) was so nice and accommodating to a family here. I witnessed so much professionalism and patience from all these young staff members today. We were super excited to go here. Such a disappointment. It was a busy day, I understand that, but they should have workers regulating things. We are at one end trying to hit our golf balls in the hole, while the next group would just walk up in the middle of our game and starting hitting their balls while we were still on the hole. These kids were not being watched by their parents/birthday party and allowed to run wild on the courses. We got so tired of asking multiple groups to please wait we began just letting them go a head of us. We waited 15 minutes for a worker to open the bumper cars, only 2 request. Someone came to open them and we were then ran off by a birthday party. Even though we waited in line a group of men from a kids birthday party ran us off (they got priority because they were part of a birthday party). I will not let my 5 year old niece get bumped all around by a group of 8-9 40 year old men. Both bathroom floors were full of urine and smelled just as disgusting. We waited 15 minutes for laser tag only to have a group run us out of that. We were in the dark waiting area and complaining about our experience when we noted there was a room connected to the waiting area. We knocked to ask for help with the wait. As we were waiting a group of kids and parents came in pushing their way in front of us. We began to complain to a worker about the the wait and level of disrespect when the man from that little office came out and tried threaten he would escort my wife. It turns out he he thought my 6 foot wife was a man and got all in her face threatening her for using foul language. It turns out he he did hear a min using foul language about our experience but it was the 1 5ft 9 guy with us group of women and little girls. When I went to confront the worker about his threat he quickly took off to the front counter leaving the laser tag room. So I went to complain to a manager, a teenage girl told me she was the assistant manager and she walked away as we complained about the worker who threaten us. I then called him out and told him he was disrespectful and that he should get in anyone's face even if he thought they were a man. We asked for a refund as we were there for 2 and 1/2 hours and only was able to golf but paid for golf, laser tag, and bumper cars. He never apologized and said "we don't give refunds" but he could give us a voucher to come back in a less busy day. I refused and let them know, I will never go back. The staff allow families/birthdays do whatever they want. There are no rules or lines. I also agree we should not have used foul language but we were so frustrated being bullied all day. The assistant manager never heard our frustrations and the security or whatever he was got in our face and threaten us despite hearing us complain for the 15 minutes as stood outside his office awaiting to get help. read more

Regular Golfland experience with some new upgrades. We stopped in Sunday around 1 for a round of golf and some arcade games. For the golf ($10.99 per adult) and normally 5 and under free even though the board says 4 and under, not bad at all. There was a birthday party going on by course 1 and there was kids skipping holes and even golfing on our hole before we were finished with it. The parents were pretty oblivious and I had to ask on numerous occasions if they could get off so we could at least finish the hole,it was quite unpleasant to say the least. The courses themselves are very beat up and need some TLC. Overall, the golfing experience was fine because my 5 year old had a good time, as always. This location recently added laser tag and bumper cars which is a nice addition, it helps break up the crowds in the golfing and arcade. The Arcade also switched to re-loadable cards instead of coins and the tickets are auto-loaded on as well, this is the best upgrade thus far. We took advantage of the available deal(usually always available): with purchase of game of golf, you can get 60 coins for $10 or 120 for $20 and so on. Also, with the purchase of a (really tasty) "freeze" ($3.99), basically a really thick milkshake or blended ice cream with topping mixed in, you receive 20 coins for free, great deal ! Overall this place is a good, affordable weekend spot to stop for a couple hours with the kids. read more

This place has been around here forever and it most certainly shows. The golf course looks like it hasn't been taken care of in quite some time. Some of the green is coming up, the roofing on the little housings falling off, need I say more? Some of the arcade games were not working and were pretty expensive to play. One of the claw machines near the entrance is also broken so good luck trying to catch something with half the claw.
