PRO-TIP: You can get a discounted pack of 4 tickets from their website. Save yourself a couple of bucks! I'm not much of a golfer, miniature or not, neither was anybody in my party. I feel like it's much more fun that way honestly than trying to follow the whole 18 hole procedure. We came in on a Thursday night and there wasn't too much of a crowd. Sucked that their golf ball machine was being weird and didn't give us any green balls despite being full of them. I ended up losing my ball 3 times throughout the course, but the workers were super nice and understanding. Not all the courses are created equal. We accidentally chose the second one and it was really boring and repetitive with the same types of holes mostly throughout the entire thing (gotta get it over a hill or curve kinda thing). We just ended up walking to whatever hole looked interesting and thank god it was almost an empty park, so we were able to do so. Technically, you can do multiple courses too if you don't do the final hole that collects your ball at the end. It gets hella cold at night, especially in the winter, so dress warmly! read more

Coming from someone who has grown up with this location as a big staple in my life, I have been pleasantly surprised with all of the addition and renovations that have taken place over the past ten years. I worked there as a summer job in college and couldn't believe how great it has gotten. Today, the cleanliness is about 10 times better and the 3 courses are all very fun, challenging and lengthy with them adding a few more holes. The food was surprisingly really good and their fried food and pizza is awesome. Could have better prizes but it seems like a great place to throw a kids birthday party. The arcade could also have a few more games but is still a very good sized arcade as well. That neon sign also looks great. read more

A scam if I'm being less generous. Not exaggerating to say when I went that at least 40% of the games were out of order and of the ones that were available another 30% you find out are broken after you paid and start playing. Walked in this afternoon. Glad I didn't buy the online "special" $44 for 3 hours unlimited attractions because both attractions were not working/ unattended. My kids were disappointed as they were excited about the laser maze and bumper cars. We've gone to the Sunnyvale location, they do not have these attractions there. So we opted to buy game cards for them instead. Luckily, we did a quick walk through of the arcade area to get an idea of how much game points we'd need. To our surprise, we realized that about 85% of the games in the arcade were out of order. All but a handful of machines said "attendant needed". Speaking of attendants, there were 4 teenage boys just standing around the cashier area, so much for tending to the games LOL. Lastly, not only did the arcade area have a weird smell we saw two squirrels running around in side from machine to machine. Kind of depressing. Definitely does not match up to the our other golfland experiences. read more

We had a birthday party here for our son. We checked in a couple of times before the date of the party to find out how everything would go. The first time we came in, we spoke to a manager. He asked us how he could help. When we asked where our party would be sitting and what events we would be doing and how it all would be organized, he suddenly became very busy and didn't have time to speak with us. So we found someone else, and they showed us around and gave a brief description on how things would go. We were also shown two areas where we could have the party, one inside and a few outside. We chose a location outside but were asked to come back to confirm with a different manager because the one on hand was not capable/allowed/too busy (it was very vague) to help. We called the corporate offices, and we're told that we were good to go and we would get the section we requested for the party. We also went to Golfland and spoke to a manager, and he confirmed we'd get the location we wanted for the party. We were also told what events were available to us. So far, not too bad. On the day of the party, we arrive and set up the tablecloths, the party favors, and decorations. By the time we are done, an assistant that we've never seen before comes by and tells us we are in the wrong location. We ask to speak to the manager, and for some reason, the assistant refuses to get the manager until we get into a heated argument with him. Finally, he brings out the manager. My wife and I reminded the manager that he had confirmed the spot earlier in the week. He says yes I confirmed that you will have the party here but it was already saved for another party and they will have a lot of people. We respond that we've got a lot of people too, and he says yes, but they will still need this spot, and they can move us inside. At this point we are very upset and we go back and forth about him telling us that we could have this spot and then changing his mind and we finally compromise and instead of leaving at 3 hours which is what we were alotted for the party we will have to leave in 2 hours when the other part arrives. So things started out terribly, and we're in a bad mood, but we try to make the best of it. As the day progresses we have no problem at the golf or the bumper cars but we hit a snag at the Lazer tag because even though we've got everyone at the party in a group and ready to go we have to get a search party together to find a manager to tell the guy that is in charge of Lazer tag that it's ok for us to play even though we've all got our special little bracelets on that get us in there. So 15 minutes later, we find the manager, and he walks up to his Lazer tag gatekeeper and says they're good to go. The employee nods and says to us, "So, let me scan you in." WTH. Oh yeah, I almost forgot we stayed 3 hours anyway because they screwed up and scheduled the other party on the wrong day. Don't have a party here! Also, they have no AC. It's muggy as hell, and you sweat playing the video games, and a bunch of them are broken anyway. And the pizza is awful. read more

I had a great time, despite numerous encounters with unruly children and their oblivious parents/guardians. The courses were challenging and overall well-kept. Yes, some of the holes had messed up carpet that cost me a few strokes, but that's just life! My favorite course was "course #1." I felt like it was the most different out of the three and presented some unique challenges, like hitting the ball up and inside a tree situated on the left side. It's great that they are pet friendly, but if you do bring your pet, please be mindful to take care of any messes. Even during COVID they are very accommodating and careful with how they manage their day to day business. They are really good at cleaning and making sure everything is clean and ready per person. usually you pick your ball and club, but they hand you clean and ready to go equipment. The only real downfall is that there is no real system. So if you're impatient and there to just go from hole to hole, it can be a problem waiting for your turn due to the amount of people are allowed to be on the golf courses. I went here with my boyfriend on a Saturday around 3:50pm and it wasn't too crowded. We wanted an outdoor mini golf place, so we went here. It was my first time here and this was A LOT bigger than I thought since other ones are smaller! This place has 3 golf courses to choose from, an arcade, and even bumper cars too! We did the first course we saw which was at the very far left of the place (I forgot which course number that was). It was fun and courses were not too difficult. There's 18 holes in each course, so it wasn't too small. Every single course there was nicely decorated by the beautiful fountain and pond; we loved that! Haha be careful though because you might get your golf ball stuck in the pond! I'd recommend this place! It's a great outdoor activity, but if you're not feeling outdoor activities, then you can do the indoor things inside the arcade area or just get food there. read more

Came here for a birthday party with a group of fellow twenty-somethings (read as we're probably the oldest ones here without children) on a Saturday afternoon. We each bought a 4 hour pass, which we felt was the best deal, since it meant that we had 4 hours of unlimited arcade games, mini golfing, bumper car sessions, and laser tag games. Each of our passes also came with 200 tokens that we could combine to purchase an item from the store in the back. Since there were 6 of us, we all combined our cards so that we could purchase a mini pool table for the birthday boy. This place is SUPER popular for children's birthday parties, so there's kids running everywhere. I'm not sure if this would be my go-to place for an outing, but it was nice to visit this place. The golfing area has a lot of themed lanes, some cuter than others. The area that had a lot of animal sculptures (elephants, giraffes, dragons, etc) was booked off for a birthday party when we were here. A few of the golf holes had water in them (GROSS! It was disgusting to fish them out of the holes). Bumper cars were really fun! Though when my friends and I wanted to ride the bumper cars, despite there being a long line and lots of people earlier, for some reason, when we went, it was empty, and we had to flag down the staff to get someone to open up the bumper car arena. It took at least 10 minutes to get someone to attend to the bumper cars and let us in, and even when that happened, one of my friends' cars was totally dead and would not activate. She tried pushing back (which is how you're supposed to activate the car), but even when she tried that, and various ways of trying to get the car to turn on, her bumper car would not move at all. Laser tag was a lot more fun than I expected! We were each given vests that had a laser gun attached to it. Each game is 10 minutes long. Surprisingly, we had the laser tag room all to ourselves during our session, and we had a blast running around! Food wise, I got curly fries and a salted pretzel. The curly fries only had a few fries that were actually curly, everything else wasn't. That was kind of disappointing. Pretzel was good, but it was wayyyyy too salty and I had to shave off a bunch of the salt crystals. My friend got a grasshopper ice cream float, thinking it would be a scoop of ice cream on top of soda. Nope, it was just a huge cup with nothing but ice cream. We couldn't finish this, it was just too much, despite it being good. Grasshopper was like mint chocolate chip. Playing unlimited arcade games was my favorite part of the 4 hour pass! That was when I really did feel like a kid in a candy store! My favorites games to play were: 1) Mariokart 2) Pirates of the Caribbean pinball 3) Doodle Jump 4) This one horror clown-first-person-shooting game that's tucked into a corner 5) A DDR-wannabe next to that horror clown shooting game 6) Various car racing games 7) The kid-friendly racing game with a light up pony There were several games that for some reason didn't take my card, like the one with Justice League characters, and the Wizard of Oz games. This Golfland is super fun and has three different courses the first course and the second course were our favorite the third course which started off with the Western Saloon was the most boring with the same courses over and over again and not much to see other than a knight with a missing arm and in the middle the castle in the back. The first two courses however had a wide variety of forts, dinosaurs, lots of drawbridges, moving parts, a lake in the middle, and just some good mini golfing. I thought the price was reasonable at less than $10 per person, and this course easily ate up about an hour of our time. Came up to the workers and told them our names. "Umm.. there's no party for you guys." That's fine, we handed them our receipt dictating the $1500 service we paid for. "It can't be outside; there's already a party there and they were there first". Excuse me? We literally have a receipt that says we have a reservation AT 2:00pm. "There's an empty room over there. We'll set it up for you; we didn't know that there was another party today" So it's been 30 minutes so far, INTO THE THREE HOURS THAT WE PAID FOR. Now we're all just awkwardly standing there as everyone scrambles to setup a room that no one knew was supposed to happen. Our guests starting coming in, not understanding what was happening. It was fine for a bit, played some golf and ate some food afterwards. Hey, we also paid for unlimited laser tag! "Oh, well.. give us a few minutes. Gather everyone who wants to play and we're going to have to set it up." Nice. So now our 3 hours consisted of 2 hours of Golf Land trying to organize and set everything up. To be completely honest about booking a party here, I would say take your money somewhere else. This place was very unorganized and not accommodating at all. Had my sons birthday party here and let me tell you it was bad start to finish. From them telling us we didn't have a reservation when I showed proof and then putting us in a room that had no air or ac, and nobody really checking in on us except for when they had a question for us. The party was supposed to start at 2 ended up starting at 2:30 and wasting precious time that could have been playing mini golf. We paid for 3 hours of unlimited golf and laser tag but seemed to get one 2 hours in the party room. 30 mins playing golf , and only a handful of us playing laser tag and let me tell you we had more than a handful of people in our party. Overall, if you want to pay for something and not get to do the activities you paid for, and they get to keep your money go right ahead. read more

Mini golf is open! I prefer this location over Castro Valley. You do need to make a reservation and put down a $10 deposit which goes towards your total cost upon checking in. My daughter and I went on a Monday at 10:30 and no one was there. It was nice having the course to yourself. They do sanitize the gold balls and clubs which is nice. Masks required. There are 3 courses to choose from and I would recommend Course 1. We tried Course 3 and there were water traps. One of my daughter's golf balls landed in the water trap and the water is just slimy and gross. Bring wipes OR just play past those water traps. Also if you want to play another course, be sure to tell them that you want to do a "replay" or else they will charge you the full fee. Oh and the manager said that Fridays to Sunday are the busiest in case you're concerned about social distancing. Otherwise a nice outing for us! read more

We went to Golfland Milpitas instead of the Golfland Sunnyvale because this location has a Four-Pack discount ($31.99 for 4 people, any day of the week, purchased in advance online). We played course 2 and it was too repetitive! Lots of anthills and hitting balls into buildings with moving doors/drawbridges. On the plus side, it had a lot of big trees that provided good shade. Next time, I would try course 3 over course 1, because course 1 is next to the freeway. read more

We book a birthday party here on Saturday, they provide a two hour use of party table, all utensils and a staff to assit us. The package include drink and 2 pizza, three game of your choice up to 10 people. The process is easy , I reserve the party online , but there are extra food I can't order thru the website . So I call them one week ahead and they told me just order on the day of the party. When we get there on the party day they told me the order has to be place in advance. I knew it would happen . That is the same confusion I have before at the other bowling alley. The operator tells you one thing and the staff on site tells you something else... The staff that in charge to hellp didn't do much, but Golfland Milpitas is a good place for birthday party. We were lucky to get Trey on the second time we booked. The party package is pretty standard, but service was amazing. After all, It takes a lot of patience to handle 10+ kiddos and their anxious/ borderline exhausted parents The pizzas (standard kiddo fare) are tasty- they are also big. We always end up having leftovers to take home. Also tried the nachos and mini tacos for additional snacks. Kids burn off all the calories running around Golfland anyway. read more

Don't know why I thought it was a good idea to come on a day when it was 100+ outside but I did! It was ridiculously hot and that's probably why there weren't too many family's there. I paid for passes which included laser tag/maze and bumper cars as well as mini golf. I noticed quickly that all the attractions were empty! I was assured that if my kids wanted to play they would have someone come over but obviously it wouldn't be much fun with just my two kids. The manager Levance was beyond accommodating. He completely empathized with the situation and offered me a refund for the passes from the moment we got there he was very helpful in answering all my questions, he was polite, and very personable. I went here with my family late evening. I had a bad experience. I noticed that the lights were not working and I had to use my phone camera to look for holes. Couple of them were not working. They did consume the ball and did not emit the ball from another hole. All these issues delayed our game and we were not able to complete it by the time they closed. We brought 6 of our grandchildren here last Saturday afternoon and while the workers were very nice but there was an ongoing problem throughout the 2 hours we played. No one is monitoring the courses. And it was an almost constant problem that there's people just wondering around walking on our courses WHILE we were playing! It's like they were just oblivious and like they were strolling through a park. Most seemed to be visiting at a birthday party booked there. But it was adults with kids just walking on peoples courses while they're hitting their balls. The other problem that happened throughout our time there are groups of people who are just jumping around any available holes and playing. They were crossing over and playing all courses, just randomly playing wherever there was an opening. Despite all of the signs posted, no one is reading them or following them. This can all be remedied by having one employee on each of the three courses, monitoring it and stopping the issues. They're charging a lot to play there. Cost almost $100 for 2 hrs to play one course. So I think at these prices, management can afford to hire 3 people to staff each of the 3 courses. Problems will be solved. I'm not sure at this point if I could recommend coming here. Not sure if we'll go back. The grandkids did have fun, and it was clean and we felt safe the whole time. But the complete lack of any workers managing the courses was frustrating. read more

Came here with a group of 7 for a birthday party round of golf. We hung out at the arcade for a bit to let the kids play some games. They have air hockey and cool games like at Dave and busters or Chuck E. Cheese. You can load a card and all your tickets get loaded so you don't have to carry them around. The course is outside so watch the weather. It was 97 degrees today so it was hard to enjoy the game after about 20 minutes. The course is nice and has fun themes. It is pretty slow moving especially if you get behind a large crowd with a lot of kids. We didn't have to interact with any staff except when we purchased our club and balls. Great place to bring the family for some fun! Family night on mondays is a great value ($7.50 pp, 1 course), must purchase your tickets online before heading there. When you enter you just check-in at the counter and you are ready to start having fun! You got 2 18-hole courses to choose from. My boys are ages 12 and 5 and they both had a great time, they want to come back again. They also have an arcade and bumper cars. As for snacks they offer a variety at the counter but these really yummy, thick shakes are a must try.... We ordered the Rice Krispies freeze, it comes overflowing in large cup. It was delicious with Krispies and marshmallows mixed in vanilla ice cream. Go try it!!! read more
