This Golfland is practically my childhood. So much has changed, but I'm glad it's still up n running! Came here last night with my bf for a lil miniature golf competition last night and whooped his a**! When you walk through the front entrance everything still looks the same, but instead of the playground that used to be in the middle walk way, you have bumper cars now. And where all of the other arcade games used to be is now replaced with a laser tag room. I am anti-bugs and we saw quite a few roaches on the golf course as well as ants. I didn't realize one of the holes/benches was filled with ants and I had ants crawling on my hands and arms after picking up my golf ball..... lol I am a lil priss so of course I freaked out and started wiping down on my body. Little kid trapped in a grown man's body! I came here to celebrate my nephew's 5th birthday party. The last Golfland I visited was in Castro Valley many moons ago. So many things to do here, but so little time. My first priority was to greet the birthday boy. Next, I joined in with a couple of family members for a round of miniature golf. We only cared for hole-in-ones or crazy shots! Over and under par were out of the question. The courses till this day are still challenging. For the dreaded 19th hole, if you make this hole in one try, you win a free round of golf. After many failed attempts by my family members, I won a free round. Instead of me using it, I gave it to my nephew for an additional present. Once we completed our golf rounds, it was time for the food. The party was catered with various pizzas. We had, from what I was able to see: - Vegetarian - Hawaiian - Combo - Jalapeno and pepperoni The pizzas turned out to be pretty tasty. I couldn't pick just one! After devouring our pizzas, it was game time with the kiddies. It's fun to see all their faces light up with smiles. Especially, when they win a whole lot of tickets for prizes. And as for us grown men, it was Street Fighter II time. Anyone growing in our generation knew what this was all about! Lining up those tokens to find out who is the best. My friend invited us to meet up earlier today and glad we did. We originally wanted to meet up at the mountain view spot but it was full. We wanted the kids and ourselves have a little fun and do the laser tags. First time coming here and theres ample parking. They also have the outdoor golf course and a lot of video games inside. The laser tag was in a different room. You can also do a private party here. We paid $7 for each player for ten minutes. For an extra game it's about 3.50 extra. Before you start the game, you have to watch a short video about how to play and the rules. Once you're done watching the video, you can start putting your vest on and you wil get assigned to a color. The ten minutes might seem short but it's so fun you won't notice it. You will notice that you're sweating after.:) We also tried their curly fries, mozzarella sticks, nachos and their shakes! It was pretty good too. The cost was about $2.99 and up which is not bad at all for snacks. The only thing I did notice was the cleanliness of the place. It was lacking employees and the tables were not getting cleaned at all. Hopefully management will notice and make a change about getting the place cleaned up. Golfland - Arcades Near Me - Milpitas, California

I have to say, I have fond memories of this place. This was *the* high school hang out for the "cool" kids at my school after class. I remember being picked up by seniors who could drive to come here and eat pizza next door as a snack. This golfland isn't particularly big, clean, well maintained, etc. but it's just average and has normal games. I think the setup on the inside is a little odd since most golflands are setup in such a way that you can walk around in a square-ish block to access all the games, this one its kind of a maze. But still, all your favorite arcade games are there, and of course DDR! I would not recommend you go between 3 pm - 6 pm as there are usually lots of high school kids and back in the days that's when I went! But otherwise, it's kind of a fun little spice it up date idea or something to bring back the memories! Throwback! read more

We did our daughter's bday and everyone had a good time. The host was super accommodating and nice. We did it on a weeks day so it wasn't busy at all so we kind of had the whole party hall to ourselves. All and all we and the guests were very happy. read more

Great spot! My boyfriend and I came here for a date and, while harmlessly breaking a couple of the course rules, had a great time. A tip: The golf is all the way in the back. Next time instead of walking all the way back through the arcade I'll just walk around the left side of the building. The cashier was friendly enough, though seemingly bored, and either didn't see or didn't mind the canteen we were bringing in with us (broken rule #1). We started the first course we saw since it was right in front of us.. apparently there are three! One way to the left, one way to the right, and one in the middle. The middle course was alright but had a bunch of those obstacles with the raised sides around the hole, which I hate. After the middle one we jumped over to the far right course (broken rule #2) which was cooler than the first but we ran out of energy about 6 holes in. I think they can let 6 extra holes slide when we're paying $8 per person.. it's a rip, but hey, it's the industry standard.. The courses are very clean and fairly well lit after the sun sets. I found this location more stimulating than the one in Sunnyvale, but that's probably just because I've been going to that one ever since I was young and these places never change :P read more

Fun place! I came with friends after eating at Bob Sang Korean BBQ about 5 minutes away (you can look at my review, gave it 5 stars!). There are 2 areas for arcade, food that consists of pizza, hotdogs, pretzels, etc. The first arcade room are games that give tickets (basketball, skee ball). The second arcade room was pretty legit! It had all the versions of DDR, Drum Mania, Beat Mania (DJ set), Guitar Freaks, and Para Para! I should have tried that, it's like DDR but using your arms and hands! The pricing for golf was cheap too, came on a Friday night and it was $8 for one round with 18 courses, and with the 4 of us it lasted an hour and a half! We made it fun by placing bets too, winner takes all! There were some courses that were similar, but it was still fun. I'm sure you guys will have a great time here! Fun for all ages :) read more

Come here in a group of 4 to buy a gold pack and play for under $10 per person. I come here once every few years and there isn't much change. They offer golf, laser tag, and simple arcade games. It's a popular venue for children parties. They offer family night deals that includes pizza and game coins. Parking doesn't seem to be an issue. read more

I was here for Birthday party, all of sudden sewer water fountain happened and one side of parking lot was flooding, they can't help, Manager said,he will make nothing will touch the like big trash cart which was floating. All of sudden one of the employe name James, said he can't drive but he can help me to go to me car and I can park in the dry area. He is really awesome and kind. This Golfland is just awful and I wouldn't come back here. We came here on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed. The kid's working are rude, disconnected and don't care about anything. They also don't accept Golfland online ticket orders and which forced us to spent $50 for a game of mini golf as a family of 5. Bumper cars were offline and the entire place was pretty dirty. My girlfriend and I had a blast here yesterday. Seems like one of the few recreational spaces open during the COVID apocalypse. We had a great time. It took us three and a half hours to complete their three "courses," and each of them were clean, well kept, and included interesting decor and miniature architecture. There were not many people there, and most people had their masks on, so the danger seemed low. Overall, it was a lot of fun. read more

We've taken our son here twice during Covid and each time we went we had a fun! It does get busy during the afternoons but safe enough for social distancing. They don't serve food which is a bummer because they're pizza is so unique. It's greasy and filled with tons of cheese. And overall goes well with the history of this place. I hope they remodel and whip this place into shape after Covid since the wear and tear does show. Regardless, you're kids will enjoy or your Tinder date will definitely have fun! In February we had our twins' 5th birthday party at Golfland. The prices for the birthday party went up $2 but with the increase they gave extra perks like free tickets for the birthday boy/girl and happy meal box filled with goodies. Also, you get to choose how many activities you'd like for the guests to enjoy. I think you pay a little more but we opted for the playground party since most 4-5 year olds that came didn't have interest in golf just the arcade and playground. Still a great place to have a birthday party for kids. I think next year we're gonna try something different but Golfland is still a fun place to take the kids. read more

The mini golf course here is very cute and fun! There are 3 courses and we did 2/3. This is one of the better mini golf places I've been to because the courses are interesting and the themes are very nice. The arcade is okay, not much to play but it was still fun. Got the package deal with tokens and mini golf and it was very affordable. Had a really good time here and won an awesome switchblade comb from the ticket redemption booth! read more

I'm not really interested in the miniature golf. I'm more into video games, and that's something that this place has alot of. The employees of this place don't maintain their games well. Joysticks that don't move the direction you want, buttons that are supposed to attack the enemy but don't, steering wheels that don't turn the direction they're supposed to, so you end up picking characters on 'Mario Kart' that you don't want. There are alot of games that I noticed that were out of order. The marquee lights still on, but the monitor blank, giving off the reflection of the person looking into it. The ticket games not giving out tickets, and skeeball machines without balls. The claw game with plush mashed together so tight that you can't pick anything up (I really really really wanted a 'Where The Wild Things Are' plush). They even took out my favorite game, BEATMANIA. This place seriously needs an upgrade. They need to hire more people to maintain the games, so that they entertain guests, not rip them off. Miggle used to be cool... read more

Blast from the past like your back in the 80s the golf course is fun and has 3 different levels from easy to hard. They have food and clean bathrooms and at night after 9 there wasn't a lot of people and we played at our leisure. The arcade looks a little run down as the whole place but my son had a good time. What a blast from the past! Haven't been here in several years and was happy to see this place still flourishing! We went here on a weekend for a kid's birthday party and had some good fun! The place was clean, the games were working and the pizza good. They have bumper cars and laser tag to go along with the arcade and the classic mini-gold courses that have been around for decades. It was nice to see this classic still standing and it's a great place to spend an afternoon with the family! I would've liked to see a bit more food options on their menu but overall, it was fine and the pizza was good! read more

Golfland - Good times at Golfland! - Arcades Near Me - Milpitas, California

Can't wait for the "3rd Annual Putting Tournament!" Last year Putting Tournament (held at Sunnyvale-Golfland) was really fun and exciting, and I really couldn't believe that I won that tournament. There were about "70" of us Putters left on the final tournament, and each of us has to play two rounds (18 holes each round). After my 1st round, I was only able to score 42 which is not really good, coz some Putters they scored less than 40, and one person even scored 33. So after the 1st round (I think I was on the top 30), I was really far behind from grabbing the 6th place at least. Then the 2nd round comes, when all hope seems to fade away, then suddenly, luck turns into my side. I was able to sunk 7 holes-in-one, hitting the daunting volcano with just one stroke, and then I end up scoring only "31" on this round. I was speechless for a while after finishing my 2nd round. My 31 score spread quickly to some Putters, and I could hear them from a distance saying, "Are you sure he scored 31?" My friends (also joined the tournament) couldn't believe it and neither do I. After receiving the award and talking to the other 5 winners, I realized that what really helped me grabbed the 1st place was when I luckily perfected the two daunting volcanoes (one volcano on each round - East & West) by sinking only 1 stroke on each. They said they also have bunch of hole-in-one, but the daunting volcano is what really messed up their scores. 1st Annual Putting Tournament which was held at Milpitas-Golfland two years ago was also fun and exciting. Well on my part, I played really bad on this tournament. I scored about 50 on my 1st round, and then about 50 again on my 2nd round, and on the final standing, I think I was about #40. What's really remarkable about this tournament is that there were bunch of intermediate and professional golfers joined this tourney (about 30-60 years old), and the surprising was, it was a "13 yr. old kid" who grabbed the 1st place. Yes, a 13 yr. old kid whoop us all! I really like and enjoy putting, and I really look forward to this upcoming 3rd Annual Putting Tournament. Hope to see you all there!!! p.s. I've been coming here many a-times to play on their SFIV SSFIV arcade machines and it's almost always crowded (HELLA HYP3). I usually come on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays to take advantage of the all-you-can-play for a low flat price deal. For about $10, you could play at the arcades all day. The price drops as time goes on. So at about 3 hours before closing, the price is cut by half. Not bad! Although I wish all their pinball machines worked, this Golfland is great! Just yesterday I went to the SFIV tournament which was held there. So many dudes, such a strong man smell, but still the rooms were well aerated and it wasn't as stuffy as I thought it'd be. In addition, there's the Pizza Box a couple steps away and that's good as a pick me up for when you're dealing with rage quits and being P'd on. read more

This place is fun! I bought a groupon, and it's worth it. There's 3 courses, it's pretty big, and essentially you can play it all, as long as you do not get rid of the ball on hole 19, as you won't be able to get your ball back. They also have a few arcade games and laser tag. I suggest coming at night and bring a sweater! read more

We visited Golfland last weekend. Our group was my son, his buddy, gf and me. We always saw Golfland as we drove down 680 freeway so we thought we would check it out. The facility is in good condition, primarily the mini-golf course. They keep the landscaping very well maintained, the fountains were clean and free or debris and the attractions (mini-castles, dragons, etc.) looked like they were fairly new or recently painted. I was very disappointed with our experience at the main entrance. We asked the attendant (who couldn't have been a day over 18) for a round of golf and two small icees. She replied that they had run out of the small cups so we had to buy medium or large. Okay... Not exactly what we wanted, but we paid for the medium. Next she handed us our golf clubs and gold balls. I politely asked for a score card and was told that they didn't have any of those left either. She then handed me a small pencil and torn piece of scratch paper and said I could keep score with this. Okay... I replied what is the par for each hole, or the course. Her reply was priceless, she turned and looked at another teenager working behind the desk they both then looked at me and started nervously giggling. She then replied what are you talking about. I replied never mind and walked away. I don't mini-golf often so I'm not sure if the scoring for the game is the same as golf (par being how many strokes it takes to make your shot in the hole) but I would imagine working at a golf related establishment you should understand the scoring rules of golf. The boys had a great time and that is all that counts. I just hated the customer service Golfland offers. I don't recommend this location. read more

The last time I played miniature golf, I was still in middle school. So, it's been a number of years since my last visit to the local Golfland. My friend, who has never played miniature golf before, wanted to come, so I tagged along. We got there around 1:30, paid for our balls and clubs, and then hit the course. Since it was a holiday weekend and a Sunday at noon, there were -- as expected -- a large number of birthday party-goers and families around. Fortunately, Golfland sports two eighteen hole-each courses, with a bonus nineteenth hole nestled in the center. We ending up playing at the course with significantly less people. There is no organization to Golfland. Rules are not enforced and the staff is limited to the indoor building. Kids were playing the holes backwards and some people were just walking through games without consideration. Fortunately, at our lesser played course, the problem was not too big an issue. The place isn't as shabby as I originally expected. I had read reviews claiming this place was run down and dirty, but I didn't see too much evidence of the fact. I suppose this could be a problem at night, but it wasn't too bad in the early afternoon. I would rate this place higher, but I honestly don't enjoy miniature golf that much, and this place did not alter my opinion. But if you do enjoy the activity, Golfland is a terrific place for you to visit. read more

Very big space. It's 3 times as big as the Castro Valley location one. They have 3 different golf areas. Though it does get a bit monotonous after awhile because it feels like you're doing the same type of putting area each hole. But it is fun to know you can play for a long time. They have a lot of games to play. Though we did not play the games there were a few that caught my attention. There is also a food area which was actually pretty good. Though for me it did feel pricey but you do get a lot of food for what you pay for. We got the chicken tenders meal and the chicken was really good and so were the mountain of fries. There is also laser tag and bummer cars there but both were not open when we went. Though I definite come back to try both and the arcade is in the plans. Overall a really good place to take the kids or go to have a lot of fun during the summer and weekends. The area is right off the freeway so be on the lookout. I completely missed it because there was not a visible sign for it and I thought my GPS took me somewhere else. Because it literally just looks like an empty lot but its the right place. read more

If I could describe this business in one word I'd say 'unprofessional'. We scheduled my son's birthday in a month advanced, paid the quote a week advanced (they sent it to us 3 weeks later) and by the time we got there on that day where the quote, receipt, etc. says, they told us WE WERE NOT ON THE LIST. We showed the receipt and still tried telling us that we weren't on the system. We came there 15 min prior as the quote told us and NOTHING was ready for us. Wasted an additional 20 min after the set time just to get our indoor room settled. (We were told we'd have outside seatings). I kept my cool the whole entire time. Trying to explain what we were told, what the receipt says, and yet they don't even know how to fix things. They made things happen, but we it felt as if they just tried to shove us through the side. Yet again. Also we paid for unlimited golfing and laser tag. Yet again their employees love to waste time and tried charging me again for laser tag. Know your roles. Know your employees. Know your policy. Couldn't enjoy this day golfing. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, but try to communicate for the next group so it doesn't happen again. read more

We came to this location on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all. It was really great that way because we didn't feel rushed when we played mini golf. The price for mini golf is $9 a person for one course. They have three courses to choose from: easy, medium, & hard. We went to the hard course. While the course was definitely hard, I don't think it was too creative. Overall, I thought course three was pretty well-maintained. Also, for $3.50, you can add on another course after you finish playing one. We didn't play the arcade games, but it looks like there were a lot to choose from. They also have laser tag available at this location, but we did not try it. It's good there are lots of options! Some cons about this place include: - needs updating of the structure - bathrooms were stocked, but they did not smell pleasant and were really small I would come back to check out the other mini golf courses and I think kids would have fun here. read more

This is good place to take your family for a nice round of mini golf. I like the decor and the themed course. Very well thought out. I like the man made water stream they put in place. The worst service I ever experienced!!! The bathrooms are disgusting. I walked into a stool and some one blow it up with poo and no one picked it up there was poo all over the walls like it looked like someone grabbed there poo and tried to draw with it! Definitely one of my favorite places to kickback and just forget all the troubles in the world. While it's true that the golf course has pretty much gone unchanged over the years, I think that it contributes to its retro factor. If you want crazy, modern-style minigolf, go look for one of those Glow-in-the-Dark places. The various holes in this particular location have a lot of variety, from a simple straightaway, to an annoying windmill, and even a skiball-style hole--it's great envisioning strategies to get hole-in-ones while your friends somehow try to cheat behind your back. Arcades were all the rage from the '80's to the mid-90's, but after that, they've pretty much died out. The staff at Golfland make a pretty good effort at keeping the arcade current. While it's kind of lame that they have a Madden NFL machine, it's great to know that they have the Namco Mario Kart game, which is pretty cool because it has its own built-in camera along with a way to save data. Rounds of golf usually go around $8-10 a pop depending on your age and what time of day it is, but it's well worth the price of admission with the four different courses. Losing balls is common, but usually the staff is pretty cool about giving you free balls. However way you look at it, Golfland is just a great place to go if you're looking for a good time. read more

Worst place ever! The place is run down, for the amount they charge you should expect a lot more! We paid for the 1 hour free play, yet we had to wait 20 seconds between each play, totally takes away from the streak momentum! My nachos chips were completely broken, the pizza looked and tasted like it was frozen and placed in a microwave. Staff was a bunch of teenage kids who are totally disrespectful. The courses are so run down. I could go on and on! So much for a family fun night! read more

I spent $20 on tokens at a kiosk for my card and went and played in the arcade. When I ran out of tokens I spent another $10 at the kiosk to reload my card, although when I went to go play games the card was still empty. I went to the counter looking for help, and they reloaded my card with no trouble. Although when I went to redeem my points I realized that when they reloaded my card at the counter they actually activated a brand new card. This meant I lost all of my old points ($20 worth). When I tried to explain this to the man working at the counter he just claimed I had been using another card and lied about using one card the entire time. This was really frustrating because I lost $20 worth of points and the man at the counter was not willing to help whatsoever or offer any assistance. read more

I have good memories of birthdays at this location. They are doing a great job with the pandemic precautions. Balls are kept in sanitizer and clubs are sanitized as they hand them to you. I feel quite safe there. Mini golf is a great outlet for my kids, I'm now taking them on a monthly basis. I hope they stay in business for a long time.. Alrighty time to let our inner child out! Every weekend is pretty much date night for my S/O and I. I haven't been to Golfland - Milpitas in years so our visit this past weekend was a great refresher. You've got three mini golf courses to choose from or do all. The decorations were very beautiful and the golf turf is clean! I think I was paying more attention to the decorations more than the actual game but oh well! After golf, we stuck around and played in the arcade. There were lots of games to choose from and there aren't as many kids pushing and shoving you around to get to the game before you. Haha. Oh and they have bumper cars and a laser maze now? We didn't try them but it was nice to see the new additions to the park. Til next time! read more

Haven't, been here in years.... so the Ohana and I decided to come here.. to play some video games and play some games... when we got there and decided to play mini golf. We told this to employee, since she was the only one working... but she. Thought we said laser tag. WtFunk women, it wasn't even really loud. So i know you heard us say mini golf ... then, when we played mini golf, our golf balls would get stuck or lose them playing the game.. then when we played the arcade, they took hella money and no one bothered to fix it or etc. didn't want to go to the restroom either!
