Do not book your tee times online with this company! They charge almost $5.00 per booking. They charged my cc for 4 people $20) but did not reserve tee time. After 6 emails, several phone calks, they kept stalling and asking for more info. I finally just had my cc company reverse the charges. As a business that uses GolfNow we couldn't be more dissatisfied. Simply go through the yelp reviews and it is obvious that company needs an overall. Each review talks about "glitches", culturally they call it "bugs". Initially, they try to just sherk it off until they completely get embarrassed. Even then the "fixes" are more like "workarounds" that don't address the specific issue and make it even more difficult to operate their shoddy software. The most recent GolfNow business offer is a three year 1.5% transaction cost in order to buy some business. Besides the 1.5% addresses a small percentage of transactions, the attention to their customers makes the savings not worth it. Until they fix things correctly, they will continue to lose talented people. read more

If I could do a 0 I would. I have a gift card for $200.00 that I found during a remodel. It is from 01/01/2020. I contacted GolfNow and they said they purged their files. I emailed them back in March, 2026 and inquired about my gift card. They said to send them the information on my gift card. I emailed them again in April, 2026. No response. I informed them that my gift card should not have been perged and how am I going to get the value of my gift card now. They sent me another email in May and said they were working on it. They completely suck. I've used them once and they booked the wrong golf course not even in the correct state. I have friends that have used them and similar issues have happened and then they charge my credit card for a course in Georgia when I live in Texas. I would never use them. I've tried to call them and you can't get anyone on the phone or at least I couldn't. I sat on hold for 20+ minutes before I hung up. I sent an email to the customer service. It's been seven days. I've used GolfNow for years, but my recent experience was the final straw. I attempted to book a tee time at Heritage Palms at a posted special rate, but the system repeatedly blocked the booking. Even worse, my credit card was charged five separate times over two days, despite the reservation never going through. When I contacted customer service, I was given conflicting information and empty assurances. I was told the refunds would appear within 2-3 days, they didn't. I've now had to send the same proof of charges multiple times, and the follow-through has been slow and unhelpful. As an apology, they sent me two $20 vouchers, but they're essentially useless--they only work on Hot Deals Monday through Thursday after 12:00 p.m., which does nothing to fix the original problem. Between the technical failures, the repeated charges, and the lack of meaningful customer support, this platform has become more hassle than it's worth. HUGE CHAT TECH ISSUES! Chat asks for your first name, email, and phone number. Then you start the chat. Then it asks for your first name, email and phone number. Already did that. In fact -- I already authenticated with my GolfNow login in order to get to Chat. So I start typing and the stupid "Chat with us" image does not disappear -- blocking seeing what I'm typing. I try to roll with it, unable to see what the Customer Service person's responses are until after I type something and her response scrolls upward. Guess what she asks before helping me? "Please confirm your email and phone number." OK....done.....but she can't read an underscore in the email address because the chat interface underlines the entire email address. You need to replace your tech manager....and maybe a few web interface programmers. read more

Booked a tee time for a "Hot Deal". Had to reschedule for earlier the same day. GolfNow would not refund me but said I only get a credit. Tried to use the credit a few weeks later and was told I could only use it for another "Hot Deal" and could not use it for a different tee time that was not a "Hot Deal". This app is a scam and I would STRONGLY urge everyone to move on and bypass downloading it. I failed to read their BS policy and paid a $400 price tag for it. Booked with GolfNow, booked for one twosome received confirmation for one twosome. When I got to the course they said I booked for two twosomes. They had to charge me for a no show. I called GolfNow and they did confirm it was a glitch in their system but I had to get my money back from the course. Course at first told me I had to get money back from GolfNow. Only when I threatened to never golf that course again they offered me two rainchecks. Dont waste your time with GolfNow, save the BS booking fees. I paid for a golf tee time which I then had to quickly cancel and received a GolfNow confirmation that my tee time was canceled and I have been refunded for the full amount. However, they never refunded my credit card and when I disputed the charge with my credit card company, this vendor sent my credit card company a letter that I committed friendly fraud. I have the GolfNow receipt which shows GolfNow stated they refunded me, which they did not and thus this company is not to be trusted. read more

On November 28 I ordered a GolfNow gift card to be mailed to me in Washington NC. I did receive an email confirmation of my order. I have called twice to check status of my order and they could not help me. All they say is that it takes 7-10 business days for order to arrive. I have had a number of issues with golfnow I booked a tee time at Stanley park Blackpool through golf now, arrived at the course to find a society day was booked all day and they weren't taking other bookings Then golfnow advertised free taylormade golfballs for reviews of courses booked between set dates, I had made two bookings with them on these dates, so followed the instructions, left the reviews. Never got the option to confirm my address for the balls to be sent to, so I contacted their customer services and was assured an email would be sent 24th September to confirm the address. 24th past and no sign of the email, so I contact them again and was told the emails were still being sent out. 2 weeks past, still no sign of the email so I try customer services again, this time they tell me "unfortunately taylormade has run out of golfballs". I see that my review is not going to change much given that GolfNow already has a one star rating, which I AGREE with! I tried booking a City Course in AZ, which I have done many times. But, this time, GolfNow decided to charge me for one of the two players I booked and at a rate much higher than a City Pass holder has to pay $76 vs $43. I of course did not select this higher rate, no idea how GolfNow did that. I even called GolfNow, hoping they would want to make it right. But, I talked to one employee and then asked for a manager, they do not care, all they care about is making money! I have written only one other bad review in all my years. I always call and give the company a chance to make things right, and I ask for the manager if I have to, just so I can be sure it was not just a bad employee I was dealing with. the fact that NBC sports controls most of the booking is horrible. the app is useless, it doesn't allow me to book with my credit card. constant errors. once ina blue moon it will allow me to use pay pal, but i have to constantly log out, remove the app and restart my phone, when that doesn't work I have to wait a few days and download it again. by that time the tee time has already been taken. read more

Awful. Booked a tee time, then needed to cancel because of life events. At first they said no refunds and after a bit of complaining I was told I could get a credit. Cool. But they don't refund the convenience fee or whatever they call it so on a $200 booking I was out $13 per golfer. Also according to their website you can only use the credit on 'hot deals'. I looked at local courses and most of them had 2-3 hot deals for each day, and only one course out of about 10 had an actual foursome available. Also, if it rains on the day you golf no refunds/credit. If you want to get that credit on a rainy day you're supposed to buy weather insurance which for the course I was booking was $18 on a $50 greens fee. I'm sure that if you have a group of golfers that are reliable it's a good deal. And if you live in a place where it never rains. But really, booking a week out might be a crapshoot. Consider this though- let's say they offer a 10% discount on greens fees compared to paying at the course. Cool, right? But then they tack on that convenience fee and after all the fees, etc, it was actually MORE than if I'd called the course and booked through the course. Just call the course. Or book at courses that don't use GolfNow. read more

I just deleted my auto renewal card and don't plan to use Golf Now in the future. It's a good guide to area courses, but not a golfer's friend. My buddy and I had times at a local course yesterday and arrived early for a 12:42 tee time. The starter came to us on the putting green and invited us to start early. At around the 8th hole, I got an email that said I was being charged as a no show, this after we'd already checked in and paid. I said, "no problem, we'll just have the clubhouse take care of it". Guess again. We finished the round and went to the clubhouse desk. I explained what happened and was told, "you have to call back on Monday, and talk to the GM, since we can't issue a credit through Golf Now". Not happening. I said I lived a half hour away and wasn't good with taking care of this on the phone. The guy at the desk actually said, "I hope this doesn't cost me my job, and I'm worried about that". I then asked him to perform an act called Customer Service. He reluctantly worked through the credits, and in the process, I discovered he'd checked me in as someone else with a similar name (people just don't LISTEN!), so it was actually HIS mistake. So, I can't trust Golf Now to have my back, and that's that. read more

I had issues with GolfNow before which is why I avoid them like the plague. I will also note that everyone should avoid golf courses affiliated with GolfNow. The reason being is that even if you book a golf course through a courses website that is affiliated with GolfNow, they will charge you a $5.00 booking fee--ironically called a "convenience fee"--that you will not get back unless the course officially closes. I had broken my foot 4 days prior to the tee time and obviously could not play, i cancelled the tee time through the course but was never reimbursed for the convenience fee. avoid GolfNow!!! read more

Booked a hot deal tee time for $114 canceled within 24 hours to rebook a different course and time and they would not refund or credit my account to use on the new course or TEE time.
