This might be one of the worst sites of all time. I looked up tee times on a Saturday and it booked me for a Monday. Then when I showed up only to be told that they don't have my booking, I went back online to cancel it. They say that they give you a credit but it can only be used on "hot deals" or "convenience fees." Hot deals are basically cheaper deals during times that nobody usually books because they are bad golf times (like right before sunset) and convenience fees are the $5ish that they charge you for using their awful site instead of going straight to the source. Essentially, it is very difficult to ever use your credit, so in my case that was $120 down the hole. With that, customer service does nothing to help except offer to find a different hot deal to use your credit on. Not only are they useless but they actually try to convince you to use their terrible service again. It feels illegal that they can't refund you back to your card or give you a credit for normal tee times. They clearly aren't making any money the normal way and have to stoop this low. GolfNow REALLY needs to get its booking MO in order. In way too many cases that I care to mention, including today, the teetime mysteriously doesn't process(?!), BUT, DOES show up as a charge on my credit card. So, did it go through, or not? More importantly, do I have a teetime or not? I have to call the proshop to find out. Ok, no, I don't have a teetime but do have a charge to my platinum card. So how do I get that resolved? I have to call GolfNow you say. Ok, so now (after multiple searches trying to find the number) I call the wonderfully articulate staff in India who insist I wasn't charged or if I was will send me a dispute claim email. Sooo how do I get the TEETIME. Oh great news, sir, that teetime we took off the website is still available.....for about ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE. You don't say, wow, thanks. 1 month ago, I had a tee time at a course and 1 person from our group didn't show. So 3 out of the 4 people paid at the course. Next thing I know, golf now charged me for the entire 4 some not showing. I have called 3 times and sent 2 emails. And every time they agree I've been overcharged and claim they escalated the credit to my account. Yet here I am 1 month later and I still haven't received anything. I booked a round at Cacapon State Park in WV. I was not familiar with Golf Now, but I was automatically routed to it. I paid $65 to Golf Now. When I arrived, I was advised at the pro shop that I had not paid. Moreover, I learned that the winter walking rate was $15, not $65. I paid an additional $15 in cash and expected that it would be easy to contact Golf Now, or dispute with the Capital One and have the charge reversed. I am not entirely sure what happened when I finally got through to the Golf Now customer service person, because he was no at all competent in English. The charge was not reversed. I posted a negative review on Trust Pilot and was contacted by Golf Now and told that they "would love to correct the charge." I called them back and it seems apparent that whoever responds to negative reviews is in a different country from the division that is tasked with reversing charges. Golf Now's procedures are highly bizarre and unprofessional and required me to be on a 3 way call as the Golf Now representative contacted the pro shop at Cacapon resort. The guy at the pro shop was AWESOME. He corroborated my version of the incident and went on to say that customers get better rates if they avoid Golf Now and that the transition of all 4 WV state Park Golf courses to Golf Now has been a pain. LOL. After the three way call, I was told that a manager, Ridley would call me back. Ridley called me and provided instructions with to send information to Golf Now to prove that Golf Now had stolen my money. I attempted to explain to Ridley that Golf Now already pledged to pay back the money that they stole so I really shouldn't need to do anything except wait for my check to arrive. I wish I would have read all the reviews before I booked two expensive rounds. Had to cancel due to weather. They would not refund, only provide a credit. Here's the kicker, the credit can only be used for "Hot Deals", not standard tee times. The "Hot Deals" are very limited and, while they provide a better price, most of the tee times are for the afternoon. That is a true "HOT" deal here in Texas. Lousy service. I booked the wrong day but noticed as soon as I hit the confirm button. I cancelled the reservation immediately but noticed they were going to still charge me. I would give them a zero if I could. They had a data breach and my account got deleted. They wanted me to open a new account with a different email and credit card. I had saved about 14 fee credits to use when I renewed my membership but they would not transfer them to the new account. I refused to do that so I'm no longer a customer after being a customer for 8 years! The hot deals were not as good as they used to be so I'm not going to be a member in the future. Do not book a tee-time via GolfNow! Call the golf course directly and book with them if you can. We were on a weekend getaway and decided to play at the local course. Our party of 3 adults and 5 children, ages 13 to 17, was charged full price even though the golf course allows children to play free with a paying adult (which we didn't know until we arrived at the course.) GolfNow refused to refund the childrens' fees and instead gave us "promo codes". I would rather have my money back because we live over an hour away from this course (and I suspect that we will only be able to use one code per party and not all five promo codes at once.) I am only giving this one star because I am unable to give 0 stars. I received a gift card for my birthday last year and have been unable to use it. I tried again today and ended up calling the GolfNow support team for assistance as I was receiving an error that said "The gift card is associated with a customer account". The gentleman on the phone did not take my email address or gift card number but, instead, provided me with a case number and told me I would be contacted within 3-5 days once they started working to resolve my issue. After digging a little deeper, it did not seem like the support representative had the tools to assist me right away so the only solution for me is to wait up to 5 days for GolfNow to START assisting me. I have already called the other members of my golf party to explain what happened and suggested that they never use GolfNow in the future. I plan to share my story with all of the guys/girls I golf with and hope to divert a lot of business away from this company due to their lack of customer service. Their Policy and Customer service is HORRIBLE. I booked a tee time for 11 am. It rained all night and into the morning. When I called the course, they said they would open in the afternoon, so I requested a refund. Never got the money back, so I called and they said the course opened at 11, so I would not get ANY of the money back because I did not go in person to verify that the course was closed. In other words, calling the course was not enough. Honestly, just use Golf Now to look at golf courses in an area, and then just call the course, they'll have the same tee times available for the same price. No flexibility with this company at all. It's just not worth dealing with them. If you do find a better deal on Golf Now, I've just called the course and asked them to match the price, and you can just bypass Golf Now altogether while retaining the power and flexibility to change for cancel your tee time. read more

Booked a course for 4 people and placed on credit card. Had to cancel due to illness! Golf Now will not refund my $400 charge! This company basically says, if you cancel, according to their timeline and terms, they keep your money. I called and asked if they could make an exception, and their answer was NO. Basically, if you cancel, they steal your money. They make it almost impossible to even re-book, since they have a term that limits your re-booking to only the "special term" deals, and limit it to 6 months. This is Fraud in my book. GolfNow makes it seem so easy to book at many golf courses, but they just cancelled a tee time I made without reason the day before my tee time. I checked the website and there is no way to contact them via e-mail, online chat, or phone number. They just have a short FAQ section. Just awful. I know there used to be a number up because a buddy of mine had the same thing happen to him a couple of weeks ago and he was able to call. Their only suggestion after he had his foursome cancelled was a tee time at a 9 hole course at 4pm. Ridiculous. Will not renew nor would I ever recommend them to my friends here in London Ontario Canada. I currently have in excess of a dozen reward codes that are useless. I will not use GolfNow. I booked a tee time using "Hot Deal". Subsequently, I called the course and asked if the course will be open even with heavy rain forecast. The rep. said the course will most likely close. Because I was 1 1/2 hrs. away, I said, I won't make it. The rep. inputted in the computer as though I cancelled it. Now, MY MONEY, $184.00 (4 sum at Morongo Tukwet) is placed in a "Credit" that I can only use to book "Hot Deals". This is illegal. You can not accept U.S. currency and put restrictions as to when and how a person can use that money. I was given $60 "coupon" money by GolfNow due to all the trouble I went through (long story) with restrictions (must use within 6 months, only good for hot deals, only good for tee time after 12:30pm.....). I get it! This is their money. But when I use U.S. dollars to book a tee time, you can not put restrictions. I should be able to book any tee time, anywhere without restrictions. Currently, I have close to US$50.00 that I can only use for 1) Hot Deals only 2) After 12:30pm tee time 3) Good for next 6 months. Golfnow is a terrible terrible company to deal with. We tried to get a refund for one of the golfers in our party who injured his back. He injured his back about an hour or so before the round. When we told Golfnow that we needed to go down by one player they continue to proceed to bill all four of us despite me telling them to do the right thing which would be to refund the money for services not being rendered. I see GolfNow advertised all the time on Golf Channel and during various golf telecasts on other channels. GolfNow and Golf Channel are both owned by Comcast. In concept, GolfNow is great. You can conveniently book a bunch of tee times from your computer or phone at a number of different courses. However, in my experience booking tee times in metro Atlanta, a lot of of the prices on GolfNow, after taxes and convenience fees, are the same prices or higher than calling the courses directly and booking at regular rates. You may end up finding a good deal, paying about the same rate as you'd normally pay, or end up paying *more* to play a round of golf. You really have to take it on a case-by-case or in this case, a course-by-course, basis. Metro Atlanta courses I've found it was worth booking tee times using GolfNow over the past 1-2 years include Crystal Lake Golf and Country Club (Hampton), Cotton Fields Golf Club (McDonough), Browns Mill Golf Course (Atlanta), City Club Marietta, Bear's Best Atlanta (Suwanee), Trophy Club of Atlanta (Alpharetta), Cherokee Run Golf Club (Conyers), and West Pines Golf Club (Douglasville). The most significant cost savings came from our round at Bear's Best. When I called the golf shop to book a 10:40 AM tee time on a Thursday, I was told the price was $99 per player. GolfNow showed only $62 per player. I booked for a threesome. The convenience fee was $7.47 and tax was $11.16. The total was $204.63 or $68.21 per player, a nice $30.79 in savings per player (31%). $17.33 was due immediately to book the reservation. The rest of the cost ($187.30) was due at the course. I'm not sure how GolfNow determines how much is due upfront when booking a reservation, but be aware you do have to pay a small amount just to book. In the fine print, GolfNow says "5% of the tee time rate is due now & 95% is due in the pro shop." That was not the case here so that text was incorrect. A second example: I booked our foursome a Saturday morning round at Trophy Club of Atlanta for $234.04 total after taxes and fees. This equated to $58.51 per person which was less than the regular rate posted on the club's website of $69 per player. This was at least a $10.49 or about 15% savings off the regular rate per player. $9.96 was due online and $224.08 at the clubhouse ($207.96 in greens fees or $51.99 per player plus $16.12 in taxes). Again, it's confusing and not clear how the upfront "convenience fee" is calculated. A third example: I booked our foursome a Saturday morning round at Cherokee Run Golf Club for $202.56 total after taxes and fees. This equated to $50.64 per person which was less than the regular rate posted on the club's website of $51.50 per player (not including sales tax). This was a small, almost negligible, savings off the regular rate. $19.59 was due online and $182.97 at the clubhouse. In this case, there did not seem to be any rhyme or reason $19.59 was due upfront. The itemized costs listed under the reservation details showed $180.00 for greens fees, $9.96 for the convenience fee, and $12.60 in taxes. A fourth example: I booked our foursome a Saturday morning round at West Pines Golf Club for $155.26 total after taxes and fees. This equated to $38.82 per person which was less than West Pines' regular weekend and holiday rate of $38 per person + tax ($40.66 total). This was a small savings of $1.84 per person. $17.22 was due upfront to GolfNow (for the entire group) and we paid no more than $34.51 per person at the course for our tee time. A fifth example: I booked our foursome a Saturday morning round at Steel Canyon Golf Club for $117.67 total after taxes and fees. This equated to $29.42 per person which was less than Steel Canyon's regular weekend and holiday rate of $35 per person + tax. This was at least a 14% savings off the regular rate. $9.96 was due upfront to GolfNow. An example of GolfNow not working to our benefit is with Wolf Creek Golf Club. It made no sense to book a round at Wolf Creek using GolfNow because the rates on GolfNow and at the club were the same. If we booked through GolfNow, we would incur the additional convenience fee. I do not advise changing or cancelling any tee time reservations you've booked through GolfNow unless you want to lose some money or get a refund in the form of a GolfNow credit. This is one disadvantage to using GolfNow and other online tee time booking sites like TeeOff.com. You can just call several courses the old-fashioned way to book a tee time and not have to deal with any booking or cancellation fees. GolfNow has a free rewards program and a premium "VIP" program where you pay $99 a year to get perks like no convenience fees. Since I only play up to 20 rounds a year and use a variety of methods to book, GolfNow's free rewards and VIP program are not worth it to me. I merely book on GolfNow when a particular tee time is economic. In the end, I give GolfNow 3 out of 5 Yelp stars. It's OK and can benefit you on occasion. read more

Also on the reservations page the test time show up, so I trek to the course to find out no reservations were made... Now have to make sure they credit back total including fees...
